About: I’ve trained and taken care of dogs since I was 15(now 32). Have experience with puppy and senior as well as medical needs. Apollo is my 2.5 year old lab who is incredibly friendly to people and animals. Great walking partner! Please let me know if your dog is not good with other dogs. I currently work full time remotely. I’m mostly available on the weekends and week days after 4pm but can sneak out for lunch visits and walks. About: I've been dog walking ever since 2020, starting with my sister's retriever mix, my neighbor's dogs of similar size (85 lbs), and a family friend’s corgi. I'm used to taking care of dogs with a lot of energy! I've been entrusted to take of care my sister's dog on my own for extended periods of time since then, spanning anywhere from a week to over two months. I am available mostly from 10 am - 4 pm on weekdays, barring any special circumstances. On weekends I am less flexible in the afternoons. I have a fenced in yard that is decently spacious with lots of slopes for dogs to run across. It's perfect for a game of fetch or just a case of the zoomies! While I do spend most of the day on my own, I can give enough attention to any dog that needs it because of my flexible schedule.

I also really appreciate that she reinforces the things I’m teaching Brooklyn like her commands, sit, her name, etc. She actually takes the time to engage with her and work with her which means so much to me. Madeleine was seriously amazing with my baby Brooklyn!! 🥹💕 Brooklyn is only 16 weeks old so I’m very particular about who I leave her with, especially since she’s still a puppy, but I felt so comfortable having Madeleine take care of her. I booked her for drop-ins for the entire Holiday weekend and she was super sweet, reliable and very flexible with me timewise, especially when some of my plans changed. She was Sooo accommodating which I really appreciated!! She also kept great communication with me before, during AND even after all of the visits were over, which I loved. She followed everything I asked, kept me updated and sent me sooo many cute pics of Brooklyn lol. I could genuinely tell she cared about her and wasn’t just coming over to do a quick drop in and leave She honestly went above and beyond for us 😭💕 she made Brooklyn homemade organic treats AND the cutest little good doggy certificate after their weekend together lol 🥹 and then surprised me with the most beautiful flowers, a card and a Starbucks gift card which I was NOT expecting at all!! It was seriously so thoughtful.🥹🥹🥹 As a first time puppy mom it means a lot to have someone I can actually trust with my crazy little child 😂💕 Brooklyn clearly loved her and I knew she was in good hands while I was gone. I will definitely be booking Madeleine again!! I’m sooo glad we found her and I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will genuinely love and take care of their baby. 🥹💕 10/10!!
Joanne is a great sitter, she did an excellent job with my Hershey! She stayed in contact with me throughout the evening, checked in with updates regarding Hershey, and shared pictures. This was my first time using a sitter through Rover and I’m so glad I lucked out with Joanne. Jason is the absolute best. Not only did he take loving care of our kitties (and provide such cute pics), when I received an alert from DC water that there was water running at our house he went back to the house and turned off the valve to a running toilet.
Idit is a great cat sitter - she takes her time with my cat and plays with her at my cat’s own speed (Freyja can be fickle in which toys she likes to play with.). She was very attentive to her and was sure to give her lots of pets. She’s very nice and easy to work with, and definitely open to listening to any pet concerns or things to watch out for while you’re away.

Marilyn was a wonderful cat sitter. She was very thorough in making sure she knew where everything was and what needed to be done ahead of time. She came at the scheduled times, fed them per my instructions, and pilled the cat that needed medication. She sent plenty of photos of the kitties and gave me a detailed update of how things were going, and spent plenty of time with them.
