About: As a pet-owner and rover-user myself, I know how important it is to have someone you can trust take care of your pets when you aren't available. I am passionate about giving dogs happy highlights to each and every day, and I love to play with them and take them on long walks to sniff and enjoy the outdoors. As a work-from-home employee, I am often free during work hours to pay your pet a visit or take them on a nice walk to help break up the day while you are away! I can be free on evenings and weekends as well, and would be happy to spend time playing with your pet and giving them happy moments each and every day while they wait for you to return. My dog loves to play indoors, which means I am extra vigilant that the house is safe for him should he get zoomies and run around the furniture. I would be careful to provide that safe environment for your dog as well, in your home or mine.
About: I have been pet sitting since I was in middle school for neighbors, families I nannied for, and friends. I have experience with kittens as well as senior dogs and everything in between. I currently work full-time, but have a very flexible in person versus remote schedule most weeks. I am able to decide which day I am where. About: I've had a dog for 5 years. I always walk, watch, and care for my friends' dogs. I am their go-to person when it comes to what's good for their dogs. I'm a stay-at-home wife. So I have plenty of time to walk and take dogs on their daily exercise. I can fit my schedule around the dog's owner schedule. I live in Oldtown Alexandria. It’s a very walkable neighborhood with plenty of dog parks. It’s a very dog friendly area and dogs love it here.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
