About: I like for dogs to smell my hands upon entering a home. This is my trick for creating a safe environment for both the dog and myself in their home. I am currently job hunting, so caring for your furry friend serves as a perfect anchor and structure for my day. I am available for dog walking and client home visits on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays after Noon and before 5pm. When caring for pets in a client’s home, consistency and maintaining their familiar environment are my top priorities. I strictly follow the owner’s feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, and medication needs to ensure the animal’s physical health. I dedicate time to play, daily walks and plenty of affection to keep them comfortable while their owners are away.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. One of my very first jobs was pet sitting, and ever since, I’ve been the go-to person for my family and friends whenever they needed someone to love and take care of their pets when they go out of town. I’ve looked after energetic puppies, gentle seniors, playful kittens, and independent cats — and I understand that every pet has their own personality, needs, and quirks. I work from home and have my own pet, so caring for animals is part of my daily routine. When pets are in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved — with plenty of playtime, walks, meals, and cuddles. I stick to routines they’re used to and adjust to their personalities, whether they need extra attention or a quiet space.

About: My family had a dog when I was born and I've been around them ever since. I have lots of experience staying with dogs overnight and I may love walks and play as much as they do. I also worked as a veterinary assistant at one time. Comfortable administering meds. I'm not currently employed so my schedule is fairly flexible. I'm taking a class 9am-3pm on Saturdays in July and August but that's really the only limitation I have right now. I adhere to the instructions laid out for petcare and will text if I have any questions or concerns. I try to maintain the pet's routine and avoid disruption in their life as much as possible, since I know it can be a stressful situation for them. I'm extremely respectful of other people's spaces and try to leave them in better condition than when I arrived.

About: I grew up with dogs and once I started my own family, over the years we welcomed three dogs and two cats into the family. With my kids having flown the coop, I have time, energy, and lots of love to give! I coach a variety of sports throughout the school year which keeps me busy later in the early afternoon and early evenings for a few hours during the week. The rest of the day, my time is my own and I'm available for walks, and hangouts with all the fur babies. I am extremely organized and responsible. Rest assured that any animals in my care will be treated with the all the love, care and dignity that they deserve.

About: I’ve been around animals all my life, both big and small. Most of my experience with animals is in a non-professional capacity as I have worked as a volunteer for animal adoption events hosted by Lucky Dog animal rescue many times while in high school and frequently being the sole caretaker for my families dogs along with my neighbors pets. I do have professional experience caring for dogs as well as I have worked for Playful Pack dog daycare at their Rosslyn location for one summer. Currently, I am attending Marymount University, so my availability during school months varies due to class and test schedules. But during the summer of months of May, June, and July, I am almost always available, even on holidays. While caring for your dog, I will treat them with respect. I will not put them in a cage or kennel unless your dog is comfortable with it or if you ask me to. I will walk them and play with them at least once a day while they are in my care for a minimum of 1 hour, but if you wish for their walks and/or playtime to be more frequent I am more than willing to do so. While working at a dog daycare, I cared for small dog breeds such as pugs and large dog breeds such as Great Danes. While there, I often managed 20 dogs all at the same time, so I am no stranger to caring for and cleaning up after large groups of dogs.
