** I am not currently accepting mid-day dog walks during the week. My capacity during the week for midday drop-in visits for both dogs and cats is also limited.** However, I’m available for morning and/or evening short drop-in visits, and my weekends are flexible. When meeting, I prefer to let the pet first approach me and sniff, while talking to them in a kind, soothing voice to ease any fear or anxiety the pet may have. I love giving cuddles and pets but will follow the pet’s lead on how much attention they want. I ensure safety at every turn, preferring to walk dogs in residential neighborhoods or parks if at all possible. I am incredibly conscientious and make sure all doors and windows are securely closed and locked before leaving a home.

Please let me know about your dog’s leash manners and if there are any specific commands I should use with them. I’d also appreciate info on any dietary or medication needs for both dogs and cats, as well as how they respond to both people and other animals.

I love to play with both dogs and cats, using the toys they love the most. I also love to give lots of attention - pets, ear scratches, and cuddles - but only if the pet wants it. I won’t force cuddles on a pet that is unsure, but I can usually win them over by the end of the stay. I enjoy taking dogs to dog parks to let them run around - so please let me know if there are any dog parks nearby that your dog loves!

I’ve taken care of cats almost exclusively for the past 2 years on Rover - ranging from kittens to senior cats. I love cats of all kinds and they can tell and usually give that love back to me. I do like dogs, but I truly LOVE cats 😻 I’m the type of person who squeals at every cat she sees. And my headline comes from an old roommate calling me her cat’s BFF, because we bonded immediately. I’ve also cared for cats who have had health issues (including my own) and am extremely conscientious about veterinary diets and medications.

Sarah did a great job taking care of Pepper and collecting our mail and even cleaned up a mess our cat made. Pepper seemed well cared for upon our return from vacation.
Sarah has always been extremely attentive, professional, and communicative with each booking. We will always always book her if we can!
Greatly appreciated the communication and photos. Arrived home to a happy and healthy cat whose coat was very shiny from her favorite pastime, being brushed!
