About: 30 years of experience raising, sitting, and living with dogs and cats in all phases of their lives. My husband and I had our own two dogs for 14 years and are excited to be “aunts and uncles” to others’ pets until we get our own again. I currently work remotely and am very active during the day. Hoping to add a furry friend to the mix so I don’t have to walk alone. Can also pay home visits to care for them as you need. I will respect your home as if it were my own, adhering to any specific security, sanitization, and pet-specific requirements. Your home will be left exactly as I found it.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life and I’m looking forward to taking care of yours. I have a dog of my own who is a 28lb mini labradoodle. She's super sweet and social, and part of the reason I like to dog sit is because she likes having a buddy around to play with. I work from home every day so Sage and I will be with your dog all day! I live in an apartment building but I am near a walking trail and dog park. I work from home so I'll be home during day! In case I have to run out for errands I would like to know how you board your dog when you're away. I will be available if you have any questions/concerns. **Please ensure that your dog comes fully groomed/clean!** I take my dog on a long walk once in the morning (8 am) and once in the afternoon (5:30 pm) with a short potty break mid day and right before bed. I can adjust my schedule to ensure your dog feels comfortable! If I go to a dog park but I typically go early in the mornings or mid day when it is empty. If you don’t want your dog at a dog park at all that’s 100% fine with me!

About: As a pet-owner and rover-user myself, I know how important it is to have someone you can trust take care of your pets when you aren't available. I am passionate about giving dogs happy highlights to each and every day, and I love to play with them and take them on long walks to sniff and enjoy the outdoors. As a work-from-home employee, I am often free during work hours to pay your pet a visit or take them on a nice walk to help break up the day while you are away! I can be free on evenings and weekends as well, and would be happy to spend time playing with your pet and giving them happy moments each and every day while they wait for you to return. My dog loves to play indoors, which means I am extra vigilant that the house is safe for him should he get zoomies and run around the furniture. I would be careful to provide that safe environment for your dog as well, in your home or mine.

Nani was absolutely wonderful with my precious Mila!! I had to travel for work for two weeks and it was my first time leaving her in someone else’s care for more than a few hours. Needless to say, I was a concerned dog mom. Meeting Nani immediately put my mind at ease! She was friendly, warm, caring and professional. She made me feel so comfortable leaving my pet in her hands. She came to my home to check on and walk my pet everyday. And gave daily updates as well that kept my mind at ease in knowing how Mila was doing while I was gone. When I returned home, Mila was the same happy, sweet and playful girl she was when I left so I know Nani took great care of her. My neighbors even bragged on how great of a job they saw Nani doing with my Mila! I highly recommend her!
Claudia is an excellent, thorough, and patient cat-carer. My cat is a senior who needs several medical modifications to her food, and I felt completely secure while Claudia was dropping in to care for her. Claudia was also extremely sweet and lovingly patient while my shy cat warmed up to her. Claudia also capably handled all my care instructions, and was very responsive and helpful whenever I had questions or just wanted to check in for an extra update on my kitty.
This is probably my 4th or 5th time booking with Caroline and she has been consistently wonderful. I booked her for drops ins for nearly a 2 week period this time and she provided descriptive updates on everything as well as the cutest pictures. When he had an accident she let me know and cleaned it up as well as monitored him after that which gave me peace of mind. Will always recommend Caroline!
Erin is absolutely amazing! Her experience shows and it’s very clear she has a special touch when it comes to pups! I recently adopted a German Shepherd who is a rescue and during her drop in visits, Erin has worked with him greatly to get more comfortable in his new home! Ashton was the most responsible, timely, flexible, and caring sitter I’ve had in the Northern Virginia / Arlington area. We couldn't be happier with the care Garrett provided for Tycho while we were away! Garrett was attentive, conscientious, and always right on time. We had some tough weather during our trip—from extreme heat to monsoon-level rain—but Garrett went above and beyond to ensure Tycho got all the attention, exercise, and care he needed safely. His communication was fantastic throughout the entire stay. Every photo update showed Tycho with a huge, happy smile on his face! Since Garrett knows the neighborhood so well, he knew all the best local walking spots to keep things fun and engaging. The ultimate test for us was coming home: Tycho was relaxed, content, and completely happy, which was the absolute best indicator of how well he was treated. We’ll definitely be booking Garrett again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!
