I work full time but I am home and available Thursdays and Fridays. Even if they don't stay with us, we would gladly take your pup for walks in the afternoon or evening hours on the days that I do work. I have 2 kids that would love to provide cuddles or simply walk with if your pup doesn't like too much attention.

During drop-in visits, I make it a point of making sure all fur-babies are accounted for. Even if they don't want to interact with me. I like to make sure they are ok and have access to food, water and litter boxes. In our home we have a crate if your pup is used to that. Or if needed if your pup is still learning not to eat things they shouldn't when left unattended overnight. All fur-babies are allowed on beds or couches.

A typical day
We like going on walks and going to the dog park. There are always trails to explore! Or just checking out the neighborhood. We can find whatever makes your pup happy.

Pet care experience
I am a vet tech and have worked in my current animal hospital for 22 years. I am an animal lover and am comfortable with both cats and dogs. I have been pet sitting for regular families for years. I am comfortable with giving medications if needed. Including giving oral medications, injections (including insulin) and inhalers. I love getting to know new cats and dogs and figuring out what they like. I am available for all day boarding in my home 2-3 days a week. I can arrange for visits for cats that will stay in their own home. While there I will make time for cuddles if that's what they want. I know not all cats want the same things. I live in an apartment complex that has a dog park. My kids are always up for play time but understand boundaries as well. We are always up for walks! I have 2 cats that do well with dogs.

Claudia is the only one we trust with our elderly, diabetic cat, Gwydion. She is fantastic about communicating with us, and is the only person, other than the two of us, that Gwydion will make a point to greet at the door. She gives him his insulin twice a day when we're away, and is extremely reliable.
Claudia is extremely professional, and I’m incredibly grateful for her help with the injections for my cat who is battling FIP.
