Animal loving Licensed Vet Tech!
I am a vet tech and have worked in my current animal hospital for 22 years. I am an animal lover and am comfortable with both cats and dogs. I have been pet sitting for regular families for years. I am comfortable with giving medications if needed. Including giving oral medications, injections (including insulin) and inhalers. I love getting to know new cats and dogs and figuring out what they like. I am available for all day boarding in my home 2-3 days a week. I can arrange for visits for cats that will stay in their own home. While there I will make time for cuddles if that's what they want. I know not all cats want the same things. I live in an apartment complex that has a dog park. My kids are always up for play time but understand boundaries as well. We are always up for walks! I have 2 cats that do well with dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
During drop-in visits, I make it a point of making sure all fur-babies are accounted for. Even if they don't want to interact with me. I like to make sure they are ok and have access to food, water and litter boxes. In our home we have a crate if your pup is used to that. Or if needed if your pup is still learning not to eat things they shouldn't when left unattended overnight. All fur-babies are allowed on beds or couches.

Claudia took care of our 17 year old cat, Rom, for 8 days. She dealt with multiple food stations and litter pans plus an alarm. Claudia kept us up to date on roms well being including daily pictures. She went above and beyond to help Rom by trying to spend time with our anti social cat. Having Claudia there really reduced our worry providing Rom with excellent care.
Claudia has been amazing with our 1 year old cat and makes sure she feels appreciated and loved while I’m away.

Claudia is an excellent, thorough, and patient cat-carer. My cat is a senior who needs several medical modifications to her food, and I felt completely secure while Claudia was dropping in to care for her. Claudia was also extremely sweet and lovingly patient while my shy cat warmed up to her. Claudia also capably handled all my care instructions, and was very responsive and helpful whenever I had questions or just wanted to check in for an extra update on my kitty.
Showed up on time, did what was asked. Friendly and good comms.

Schedule
I work full time but I am home and available Thursdays and Fridays. Even if they don't stay with us, we would gladly take your pup for walks in the afternoon or evening hours on the days that I do work. I have 2 kids that would love to provide cuddles or simply walk with if your pup doesn't like too much attention.
