“Liza watched my cat over the holidays and she was fantastic! She was great with the instructions I left and gave Felix lots of love and playtime while I was gone. I could tell she loves cats even from the meet & greet and it can be rare to find a sitter who likes cats as much as dogs. I definitely recommend her to watch your pets!”

“Laura is great with our big dog, we feel very safe leaving them in her care. She is friendly and gives great care reports so you can stay informed and feel comfortable throughout your time away.”

“Shane is terrific. He picks up our 11 week old poodle puppy and takes him to play with his two dogs. The pup seems delighted to see him. Highly recommended.”

“Daisy was very kind and easy to work with and my pups absolutely loved her. I have two pretty large dogs and she was super sweet with them and some really nice photos. 😊😊”
“Mandy was wonderful! She took great care of my dog and cat, was very communicative, and made me feel very comfortable leaving them in her care! I would definitely recommend Mandy to anyone!”

About: Life long dog owner with experience and reliability. I currently have an 8 year old medium-sized Goldendoodle named Simon. He’s my best bud and is always ready for a walk or car ride for any adventure. I’ve owned several types of dogs throughout my life such as labradors, Lhasa Apsos, basset hounds, and mix breeds. I believe daily exercise and interaction is essential for dogs and it brings me so much joy to interact with a dog. I have experience with all dog sizes and have trained several puppies over the years. I’m very comfortable with older dogs as well and can give them medication if required. I spend my late afternoons and evenings coaching soccer, which means I have a good amount of free time during the late mornings and early afternoons to walk your dog or just give them a visit. I will take the upmost care for your dog during walks and closely monitor their behavior and interactions with others to ensure they enjoy their exercise and time outside.

“Issac was great walking and checking in on Loubie. He was dependable, attentive, and clearly cared about her well-being. Communication was great, and I felt confident she was well taken care of.”

“Andrea has been amazing! The dogs love her. She is very responsive and gives great updates in her visit details. She was willing to stop by ahead of our first scheduled drop-in to meet the pups. I’ve rebooked with her and plan to continue!”

“Julie always goes above and beyond for our furbabies. We’ve worked with her a lot on another app so I hand-picked her for a 4 day trip when I saw her on Rover. She was highly punctual and communicative and followed all instructions. I’ll be booking with her again!”

About: At 16, I got my own dog and was in charge of her feeding, walking, and training (at home and at class). For 3 years, I lived with roommates who had 3 dogs (ages 6 months to 2 years) and I was trusted to watch them over weekends when my roommates were gone. Now that I’m living by myself, I have my very own 7 month old pup, so I am well versed in puppy personalities! I’m also doing leash training with my puppy, so I am getting a lot of practice with walking dogs and knowing what behaviors to look for. My parents were veterinarians, so I also have a lot of knowledge on pet behavior and health. I do work full time, but work remotely and can work in visits around my meetings. I also have the weekends free for pet care! I am a great listener, and a pet’s safety is always my top priority. If you have specific rules for your pet, I will adhere to them. I’m big on checking in the the owners, and sending pictures and updates!
“It has been so great having Allison to drop in on our dogs during the day! She is consistent and communicative. It definitely is a weight off our shoulders knowing the dogs get some play time while we are at work.”

“Rebekah went above and beyond to take care of my cat and make him feel comfortable - even when my cat was being a difficult guy, she made sure that he got the best care and always stayed in great communication! I highly recommend Rebekah as she has a clear love for animals and will give your pet the best care!”
“Alex did a great job watching my elderly cat while we went on vacation. Alex was quick to respond to any questions that I had. In addition, Alex provided daily check-ins with pictures and detailed summaries of the visit. I would confidently recommend Alex as a pet sitter!”

Southwest Quadrant pet parents share their Rover experiences
Just did a meet and greet with Jhonny. He was great. Very communicative with quick responses. It was last minute that I reached out to him and he was flexible in being able to make time right away. Chunk loved him too. Definitely looking forward to working with him in the near future.

Cynthia was great! She took excellent care of my cat while I was out of town and was reliable and easy to communicate with throughout the entire time. It gave me real peace of mind knowing my cat was in such good hands. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

Alexis did a fantastic job with our very shy and skittish rescue dog. She showed up on time. Took her time getting to know Bean, and took him for a long and relaxing walk. Very professional. Alexis was so good, that we’ve booked her for an overnight stay to care for our beloved new pet. 5 stars. Strongly recommend.
Nicole is a FANTASTIC cat sitter. She is very attentive and goes above and beyond…and this shows in how much my cats adore her. She spent time keeping me posted on one of my cat’s minor medical issue with calls, pics and comprehensive updates during the course of my time away. She’s the best…highly recommend :)

Rachel has been my go to cat sitter but this time she went above and beyond. I left for an extended international trip and upon her arrival she let me know that one of my cats had a very sickly eye that needed quick medical attention. Rachel rushed from work and took Moira to the vet as fast as she could, then continued to give her the medicine for the entirety of her visits. I cannot believe how amazingly kind and reliable she was with my cats. Truly she is the best. What a kind soul and so loving with my babies, Rachel is who you want to watch your kitties. Thank you Rachel, from the bottom of our hearts.
