“Paul is the best dog walker I’ve ever had. He’s incredibly reliable: he answers messages promptly, is always on time for walks, and as a bonus, is a genuinely kind person. I have a 100lb. dog and Paul is able to walk him without issue, and can even wrangle him into his rain coat! I would trust Paul with caring for any animal. Before he leaves everyday, he fills up the water bowl and has never once forgotten. I truly cannot recommend Paul enough.”

“Carolina has been walking our pup for a little over a month now and she’s been great! She’s very responsive and always leaves our pup with a treat at the end of their walk. She also takes him on long, quality walks which we know he loves. Highly recommend Carolina!”

About: I have owned and loved pets my whole life. Growing up I owned dogs, and took care of neighborhood dogs and cats. Now, I own two cats, and love visiting with and taking care of pets of friends and family. I am available most days and times, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Flexible scheduling, and happy to work with your pets routine care and needs! I know how deeply people care for their pets, as a pet owner myself. Each pet has their own personality and attention needs. Whether it be an excitable dog, or a cat that needs a little extra space to feel comfortable, I think it is important to make sure the level they need is appropriately met!
“My partner and I both got sick at the same time and Laura was nice enough to take our puppy for walks on very short notice. She always showed up on time and Momo would wait impatiently for her at the door. Her joy at seeing Laura spoke volumes. Thank you!! Would definitely recommend.”

About: From fur to scales, I love all animals! I have experience with babies to older pets who may need more care, but all of them mean the world to me! I'm a college student with too much free time and too much love in my heart! I have class 9:30 to 11 Monday and Wednesday but I have plenty of time before and after to care for your pet! I'm experienced with all pets, even the medically complex ones. I know let cpr and I'm quick to learn if anything arises! Let me know how I can care for your furry friend!
“Ilana was amazing!!! I would totally use her again with my fur baby! She alerted me that my dog wasn’t eating her food which is normal when she pours when we leave her but was happy that Ilana was paying her attention and alerting us! She was on time, reliable and trustworthy!”
“Nikki always finds time to work Frankie into her busy schedule which helps us tremendously. Frankie loves Nikki and we’re so grateful to have her in the neighborhood. Thank you for all you do, Nikki!”

“Erin was fantastic and sweet with my Lucky. I asked her to come slightly earlier than the app would allow and she obliged. She left a cute picture of their walk and a funny note afterwards. I highly recommend Erin!”

“Amanda has been a great addition to Ducky’s daily routine since I’ve had to start going back to the office. She now looks forward to every walk! Amanda is also an excellent communicator and keeps me updated which I appreciate while being newly away from my dog!”
“Emily was outstanding! The pups were always happy to see her and she always maintained great communication. I highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a caring and responsible petsitter.”

About: Substitute teacher during the school year, looking to walk dogs and house sit this summer. As for experience, I grew up with a sweet and feisty Chihuahua named Taco, and for the last 11 years I owned a hyper and loving Australian Shepherd named Josie, who needed lots of activity and attention. Such a fun dog! Currently my school is on summer break, so I can walk dogs during all week days until the beginning of August, except for two week-long trips. My availability has been updated on the Rover app. I provide attentive care that is tailored to each pet’s routine and needs. In my home or a client’s home, I ensure pets have fresh water, regular meals, exercise, potty breaks, and plenty of affection and supervision. I follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, training, and household rules to maintain consistency and reduce stress. I keep the environment clean and safe, monitor pets for any changes in behavior or health, and communicate regularly with owners by providing updates and photos. My goal is to create a calm, trustworthy environment where pets feel comfortable and well cared for.
“Nathan has been walking my dog, Obi, consistently 3 days per week for two weeks and has done a great job! He was patient with my initially skeptical dog and Obi has come to trust him and enjoys their walks! I recommend Nathan's services if you are looking for a dog walker or other support with your dog.”

“Hilary was great with our pug! She was reliable and provided updates and was even able to get our girl back in her crate after her walk, when she can be a bit stubborn. She was communicative and made booking and everything easy! Will definitely book Hilary again!”

“Peter has been so great with my dog Milo! He has a history of anxiety and is not always great with other dogs, but Peter has been so patient with him despite his quirks! I look forward to continue booking him for future care needs :)”
Southwest Quadrant dog parents share their Rover experiences
Hilary did a great job taking care of Mona while we were away. Communication was excellent, she was reliable, and it was clear Mona was comfortable and happy in her care. Mona is 17 and has a few extra needs, including medication, and Hilary handled everything perfectly. We came home to a happy dog and had complete peace of mind while we were gone. We’d absolutely book with her again.

Vianca is a rockstar and I can't say enough good things about her. She is a wonderful human and loves animals and they in turn love her. She is attuned to the needs of my senior princess and I feel so comfortable with leaving my squishy baby with Vianca. She is the best!

Ann went above and beyond. Bandit was having an off day and there were several unexpected challenges throughout the visit, but she handled everything with patience, kindness, and professionalism. Rather than rushing him, she took the time to earn his trust and make sure he was comfortable before heading out. Her communication was excellent, despite me being unavailable to answer questions while I was with my trainer, and it was clear she genuinely cared about Bandit’s wellbeing. I’m incredibly appreciative of the extra effort she put in and would gladly book her again.

Nicole is so, so good with anxious dogs like mine. She has a calm energy but isn’t a pushover. That’s important because anxious dogs need to know that someone is in charge. She totally won Ralphie over. If at first he didn’t want to walk far, she still stayed for the full 30 minutes just to pet and talk to him. After a couple of weeks, he totally trusted her and was much more relaxed about walking further. I really can’t say enough good things about Nicole! Ralphie loves her. She’s a gem.

Erin was fantastic! She was a great communicator, reliable, and updated us following her walk. She gave us peace of mind and made us feel completely comfortable knowing our Thurgie was well cared for. We came home to a happy pup and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’d definitely book with Erin again and highly recommend her to others!
