“Brooke is a very nice and professional walker. Liberty quickly liked her and she was great working with our puppy training him how to walk on a lease.”

About: I have been around animals all my life , and when they come to my home we treat them like family. We are very attentive to their needs. We have lots of experience Dog Walking, Sitting, Boarding, as well as Dog Taxi Services. References can be made available upon request. We have many long term repeat clients. We love what we do and we are very flexible to your needs. So take us in for consideration. We like to board for one family at a time for newer boarders, so please always ask if you have more than one dog in your family and we can adjust our calendar. Extra attention and patience for our senior pets. And we are living in a dog friendly community. Thank you!
“Elena was super sweet and she followed the routine we have for our Denver. It’s important for senior dogs to have a routine and follow it. She also agreed to walk Denver in a short notice, so I’m extra grateful for that ❤️”

“Carla was extremely helpful, timely in communications and sent multiple update photos when walking Dakotah. As someone who has never used a dog walker before, Carla took great care of my pup Dakotah in getting her energy out during the middle of the day. I would highly recommend her for anyone in the area.”

“Alicia was awesome with Max and Juneau! I used her for several month for their car as I work long hours. She gave me a report each time and let me know if there was anything out of the ordinary going on with them. She was easy to work with for when my schedule changed or if I asked her to keep an eye on something for the dogs. My dogs were definitely excited to spend time with her. I definitely recommend using her for your animals if you have the need :)”
“We are incredibly grateful to Julia for stepping in on such short notice to care for our two senior dogs. Finding someone you can trust especially with elderly pets who have specific needs never easy, but Julia immediately made us feel at ease. She was gentle, patient, and attentive, and our dogs, Charlie and Tyson took to her right away, which says everything. She kept us updated during the walks, which gave us peace of mind, and it was clear she genuinely cared for their well-being. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us out, and we wouldn’t hesitate to call on her again. Thank you for treating our babies like your own.”

About: I genuinely care about the animals I look after, and I take the responsibility seriously. I’m patient, calm, and very attentive, which helps pets feel comfortable quickly, especially if they’re shy, older, or a little anxious. I have experience with senior pets, including slower routines, medications, and special care needs, and I make sure they’re never rushed or overlooked. I’m also good with puppies and helping reinforce good habits like potty routines, gentle leash walking, and basic commands using positive, low-stress methods. I pay close attention to routines and details feeding instructions, meds, quirks, and preferences, and I communicate clearly if I notice anything out of the ordinary. I treat every home and pet with the same care I’d want for my own. Above all, I want both pets and owners to feel at ease knowing their animals are safe, loved, and well cared for while they’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I plan my days around it. I build my schedule to allow time for walks, feedings, play, and check-ins rather than squeezing pets in between other obligations. I’m home-focused, reliable, and consistent, which means pets get steady attention and predictable care throughout the day. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or longer stays, I treat pet care as a priority so animals feel settled and owners can trust the routine is being followed. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routine, such as meals, walks, playtime, and rest. I move at the pet’s pace and make sure they feel safe and cared for, whether that means extra play or quiet companionship. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and keep everything clean and calm. I make sure pets have fresh water, a tidy feeding or litter area, and plenty of attention. I keep a close eye on behavior and energy levels, give medications as instructed, and check in with owners if anything seems off. My goal is simple: happy pets and peace of mind for their humans.
“Samantha was great with my pups, appreciated the communication after the walks and the photos shared of their walk. My pups are very shy, so appreciate her patience to let them warm up to her and spending time for pets and cuddles.”

“Emma was super sweet! She agreed to walk our dog on a very short notice (1 day), arrived on time and even spent extra 5 minutes walking him. Additionally, she kindly offered to wipe the paws since it was wet outside. Outstanding service! I’m happy to have found an excellent walker on our first try. We will order more services moving forward!”

“We can't recommend Jon enough! He has been walking our dog, Charlotte, for several days and we couldn't be happier. He is always on time, incredibly trustworthy, and you can tell how much he genuinely loves dogs. We love the daily photo and message updates and path trail from their walks. It gives us such peace of mind knowing our darling is in such good hands. She wags her tail and jumps up and down every time she sees him. I recommend him unreservedly.”

About: I’m a freelance writer working from home and hoping to find new ways to explore the DC area while also meeting new furry pals. I have an open schedule and can travel. Open to long walks, drop in visits, and short stint house sitting! I just finished grad school so I have a completely open schedule! I don’t plant on traveling in the near future either. So my schedule is pretty open. I have a two dogs and a cat. They are mostly inside animals. However, I enjoy taking my dogs on longer walks around the neighborhood. I would care for your pets to your standard of care.
“Emily was outstanding! The pups were always happy to see her and she always maintained great communication. I highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a caring and responsible petsitter.”

About: Although I’ve only taken care of dogs as a job for three years, I grew up around dogs of all sizes and my family owns a 14 year old shihzu who is still very active. I work best with medium to large dogs and dogs with high drive and energy because I, myself have lots of high energy and I love engaging and working with the dogs, making sure they are happy safe and well stimulated and ready to go home for a good rest and meal! I take a lot of time learning about the breed and their needs especially if it’s a breed I haven’t been around. I’m always happy to learn and educate. I currently work at a dog daycare, and currently work weekdays and weekends, most of my shifts are in the morning but I’m open and available for all days. I don’t offer pet services to staying at mine, however I’d be delighted to pet sit at the owners and learn about the dogs routine, making sure they are happy, safe, and getting all the snuggles they want. And as well if allowed pup cups are a given!
“Amanda has been a great addition to Ducky’s daily routine since I’ve had to start going back to the office. She now looks forward to every walk! Amanda is also an excellent communicator and keeps me updated which I appreciate while being newly away from my dog!”
“Nikki is super friendly, responsible, and clearly loves dogs. My dog was very comfortable around her almost immediately and seemed to have a great time with her. Would definitely ask her to look after him again!”

“I am so glad that I found Carolina. She is kind, responsible, and took such great care of my pup. I felt great knowing that while I was at work my dog was in her care. Carolina was very responsive and helpful any time I needed to make changes, and always had my dog's best interests at heart. She also sent lots of great pictures and updates. She is the dogwalker you want for your pup!”

“Peter has been so great with my dog Milo! He has a history of anxiety and is not always great with other dogs, but Peter has been so patient with him despite his quirks! I look forward to continue booking him for future care needs :)”

Allie took really good care of my golden retriever while I was away taking him on multiple walks, even extending the walk past the allotted time to make sure Graham was satisfied. I was very rest assured he was in good hands with the pictures and updates. I would definitely recommend Allie!
