My experience caring for other people’s pets started when I was 14. I lived with my aunt for a couple of years and took over walking her dog (English cocker spaniel, Linda) to help out. Since then, friends and family have trusted me to check in on their pets, feed them, take them for walks, play with them and make sure they’re comfortable while their owners are away. My beloved tuxedo cat, Felix, sadly passed away 3 years ago at the age of 13 due to cancer. I haven’t had the courage to open my heart to a new pet since then but I’m sure I will when the time comes. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs and cats, as well as bunnies, guinea pigs, and a ferret. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to follow your instructions and give them the kind of attention they’re used to. While my experience has been helping friends and family rather than working professionally as a pet sitter, caring for animals has been a part of my life for many years. I strongly believe than pets are family, and I am excited to now offer the same attentive care and compassion to pets in my neighborhood through Rover.

I understand how important it is to trust someone with both your pet and your home. In my view, integrity is essential when caring for someone’s pet and entering their home. I’ll treat your home with respect, carefully follow your instructions, and always make sure to check everything before I leave. You can also expect photos and updates after every visit.

Anastasia has looked after our long-haired calico rescue cat, Etna, several times now – once house-sitting for a full two weeks and plenty of shorter stretches where she came in day to day. She is extremely kind and completely reliable. We trust her one hundred percent, both with Etna and in our home. She's very good with animals – calm, patient and generous with her time, which matters a lot with a cat who had a rough start in life and takes a while to warm to people. Coming back from a two-week trip to find Etna settled and happy tells you everything. We never worried once. We recommend her very highly.

Schedule
I’m currently completing my bachelor’s degree remotely, which gives me a flexible weekday schedule. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, and I can often adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s usual routine. My weekend availability varies, but I may be available with advance notice. Feel free to reach out with your dates, and I’ll be happy to let you know if I can accommodate your fur baby. Also, I’m mostly home on major holidays.
