About: As a lifelong animal lover and a dog owner myself, caring for pets comes naturally to me. My own puppy, who my partner and I rescued two years ago struggled with anxiety. She taught me how to read body language and adjust my approach which helps to meet each furbabies specific needs. About: My experience caring for other people’s pets started when I was 14. I lived with my aunt for a couple of years and took over walking her dog (English cocker spaniel, Linda) to help out. Since then, friends and family have trusted me to check in on their pets, feed them, take them for walks, play with them and make sure they’re comfortable while their owners are away. My beloved tuxedo cat, Felix, sadly passed away 3 years ago at the age of 13 due to cancer. I haven’t had the courage to open my heart to a new pet since then but I’m sure I will when the time comes. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs and cats, as well as bunnies, guinea pigs, and a ferret. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to follow your instructions and give them the kind of attention they’re used to. While my experience has been helping friends and family rather than working professionally as a pet sitter, caring for animals has been a part of my life for many years. I strongly believe than pets are family, and I am excited to now offer the same attentive care and compassion to pets in my neighborhood through Rover. I’m currently completing my bachelor’s degree remotely, which gives me a flexible weekday schedule. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, and I can often adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s usual routine. My weekend availability varies, but I may be available with advance notice. Feel free to reach out with your dates, and I’ll be happy to let you know if I can accommodate your fur baby. About: Hi! I’m Hannah, an experienced animal caregiver with over 15 years of hands-on experience. I spent 10 years as a zookeeper, where I cared for a wide variety of animals. My job involved daily care, enrichment, behavioral training, observing body language and behavior, and helping ensure the animals were healthy, comfortable, and safe. Working with animals professionally taught me to be patient, attentive, and calm while always respecting each animal’s individual needs. One of the most rewarding parts of my zoo career was training animals to voluntarily participate in their own care. For instance, I successfully used positive reinforcement to administer COVID vaccinations to gorillas and ocelots, safely and effectively without physical restraint. If I can earn the trust and cooperation of a grumpy gorilla or an ocelot for something as important as a vaccination, you can feel confident that I have the patience, experience, and skills to help manage your pet’s care with the same level of compassion and attention. Before becoming a zookeeper, I spent 2 years volunteering at an aquarium as a veterinary technician assistant, where I gained valuable experience with animal health care. I also spent 2 years volunteering at an animal shelter, walking dogs and helping administer medications to animals who needed them. Lastly, I spent 1 year prior to these professional experiences dog walking and pet sitting. Several of my clients had pets that needed medical care involving insulin injections and oral medications. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets as I have a calico cat of my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll take the time to learn their personality, routines, likes and dislikes, and make sure they receive the same patience and care I would want for my own cat. Whether your pup needs a fun walk, your cat needs some company and enrichment, or your pet needs medication and a little extra TLC, I’d be happy to help! I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available for my clients’ pets throughout the day. I can often accommodate last-minute requests and am happy to work with my clients’ schedules, whether they need a quick check-in, a walk, or extended in-home care. I understand that life doesn’t always allow for weeks of advance planning, so I’ll do my best to accommodate short-notice bookings whenever my schedule allows. For overnight stays and longer bookings, advance notice is always appreciated so I can make sure I’m fully available and give my clients’ pets the time and attention they deserve. I provide in-home pet sitting so your pets can stay comfortable in the place they know best. I believe cats especially feel most secure when they can stay in their own environment, surrounded by their familiar sights, smells, and routines. When I stay in a client’s home, I make it a priority to keep their pets’ normal routine as consistent as possible. I’ll follow their instructions for feeding, medications, litter box care, playtime, enrichment, and any other daily routines. I also take time to get to know each pet’s personality and pay close attention to their body language so I can understand when they want attention, playtime, cuddles, or simply some space. I’m respectful of my clients’ homes and treat them as I would my own. I’ll keep things clean and tidy, follow any house rules, and make sure the pets receive plenty of attention and companionship while their humans are away. My goal is for the pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for—and for my clients to have peace of mind knowing they’re in experienced and compassionate hands.

About: My whole life, I looked after my dog until we sadly had to put her down. She was very active even when she got older, she loved walks, treats and lots of cuddles. I truly believe dogs are mans best friends. I'm extremely active and love playing with dogs and running around. They're so incredibly pure and sweet. I have a little more experience with senior dogs, as I was a little older when my dog herself became a senior, but I still have experience with jumpy puppies as well, as I've made many friends over the years with puppies as well as senior dogs. I'm currently unemployed because I recently graduated high school. My daily schedule is completely free. I just need notice of the time and day in advance, at least 1-2 days prior, as I like to plan out my day and make sure I can arrive on time to care for your pets. Whether I am at my home or others' homes, I do my absolute best to follow any instructions provided by the owner, whether it's medication needed for their dog, their food schedule, crate necessity, or simply commands they follow. I follow any strict rules and boundaries you may have so that both you and your dog feel safe and comfortable. Although my home doesn't have a backyard, there are lots of parks within walking distance. In addition, I love walking and being outdoors just like your fur babies. Whether a dog needs more activity and play or simply love and cuddles, I'm here for them! During the summer especially I carry water and a bowl with me to keep your baby cool, as well as treats only if allowed by the owner, of course! Additionally communication and updates are super important to me, I'll always send updates, photos and any concerns I may have about your pets!
