Hello! I am an early retiree who is excited to spend more time doing something I truly enjoy—caring for animals. As a lifetime pet owner, I understand pets are family members. My goal is to care for your pets with the same level of love and attention you provide them. I am exceptionally responsible and reliable, with great attention to details. You can count on regular updates and conscientious care tailored to your pet’s needs and routines. I enjoy spending time outdoors, taking walks, playing, and providing companionship. I will follow detailed instructions for feeding, medication, exercise, etc. so that your pet is comfortable and confident while you are away. I’ve taken care of my own pets—dogs and cats—since I was a teenager. My husband and I currently have two dogs. We fostered dogs and puppies during COVID, so I have recent experience taking care of puppies and animals that require a variety of medications.

I have a lot of time for exercising your pet. I love walks and allow plenty of sniffing time. I can adapt to your pet’s sleep routine, whether that is crating or sleeping with their humans. Whatever makes them most comfortable.

I believe Laura is a pet whisperer!! My frail, geriatric and sometimes cranky Maine Coon cat simply fell in love with her while I was away. The communication and pictures were so very reassuring and I returned to a calm, well loved kitty.
Laura has watched our dog, Lily, in her home several times. She is loving and attentive and took wonderful care of her. She followed all of our directions on feeding, walking, and caring for Lily. Her dogs are so friendly and got along great with mine. Lily loves seeing Laura and her family and enjoys the time she spends at her home. I highly recommend Laura as a pet caregiver!
A dog could not have a better friend than Laura. She loves them, all of them, big or small. I worked with Laura for 15 years and I can say that she is one of the most responsible people I know. Completely trustworthy and will met her commitments every time. She has fostered dogs and owns multiple dogs. And she can walk for miles! Your dogs could not be in better hands.

Schedule
I am newly retired and can spend tons of time with your pets. I love hanging out, going for walks, and playing with all kinds of toys! All pets have different likes and dislikes. Let me know what schedule your pet is used to, and I’ll be happy to follow that routine so that they feel confident and loved.
