Hello! I am an early retiree who is excited to spend more time doing something I truly enjoy—caring for animals. As a lifetime pet owner, I understand pets are family members. My goal is to care for your pets with the same level of love and attention you provide them. I am exceptionally responsible and reliable, with great attention to details. You can count on regular updates and conscientious care tailored to your pet’s needs and routines. I enjoy spending time outdoors, taking walks, playing, and providing companionship. I will follow detailed instructions for feeding, medication, exercise, etc. so that your pet is comfortable and confident while you are away. I’ve taken care of my own pets—dogs and cats—since I was a teenager. My husband and I currently have two dogs. We fostered dogs and puppies during COVID, so I have recent experience taking care of puppies and animals that require a variety of medications.

I have a lot of time for exercising your pet. I love walks and allow plenty of sniffing time. I can adapt to your pet’s sleep routine, whether that is crating or sleeping with their humans. Whatever makes them most comfortable.

Laura just started walking Echo a couple times a week and she's been great!! She has sent a bunch of pictures and Echo looks so happy, and she was happy to just stay and keep her company for awhile when Echo didn't feel like walking far because of the heat. Very communicative and prompt with responses; I'm excited for her to keep walking Echo!
Laura was awesome with Zoe - she was very communicative and sent lots of pictures during her visits/walks. Zoe can be a bit stubborn with walking but Laura took her time and won Zoe over with belly rubs & treats!!
Laura is fantastic. We came from out of town to our daughter’s wedding and she made it so I didn’t feel bad leaving her home alone. Caring and reliable. Great communication. I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I am newly retired and can spend tons of time with your pets. I love hanging out, going for walks, and playing with all kinds of toys! All pets have different likes and dislikes. Let me know what schedule your pet is used to, and I’ll be happy to follow that routine so that they feel confident and loved.
