I’m a full-time dog walker with Metropawlitan Dog Walking, so I spend my days working hands-on with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. On a typical day, I handle anywhere from 8–15 dogs, including high-energy pups, shy rescues, seniors, and dogs with specific routines or medication needs. That level of daily experience has given me a calm, confident handling style. I focus on reading body language, adjusting to each dog’s pace, and creating a structured, low-stress experience. I follow fear-free handling so dogs feel safe, understood, and genuinely enjoy their time. Outside of my full-time schedule, I work with a small number of private clients who are looking for consistent, reliable care—especially for drop-in visits, walks, or check-ins during busy weekdays or weekends. I keep my client list intentionally limited so every dog gets dependable care, clear communication, and a routine they can settle into. My availability tends to work best for morning and evening visits during the week, along with more open availability on Saturdays and Sundays. This allows me to provide consistent care for clients who need support before or after the workday, as well as flexible coverage on weekends.

Jhonny was very responsive and provided multiple pictures of our dog having a great time enjoying walks during his boarding! Communication was a little less frequent than we’re used to, but it allowed us to really settle in to our trip without worrying about our dog. We returned to happy dog who had obviously settled in well with Jhonny by eating his meals and taking his meds! We will look forward to working with Jhonny again in the future.

Just did a meet and greet with Jhonny. He was great. Very communicative with quick responses. It was last minute that I reached out to him and he was flexible in being able to make time right away. Chunk loved him too. Definitely looking forward to working with him in the near future.

Schedule
I’m fully available on weekends, and during the weekdays I’m most open for early mornings and evenings. Mid-day availability is limited, but I do my best to accommodate regular clients and can often adjust if you book ahead. If you have specific timing needs, just message me, I’m quick to respond and flexible whenever possible.

A typical day
A typical day for me is all about dogs — I spend my whole workday walking and caring for pups of every size and personality. I work with big dogs, small dogs, reactive dogs, high-energy dogs, senior dogs, and the slow, sniff-everything explorers. I adjust each walk to what your dog needs. Some pups want a structured, fast-paced walk. Others want a relaxed sniff session. Reactive dogs may need more space and calm confidence. Whatever their style, I read their body language and match their pace so they feel comfortable and understood. Throughout the day I focus on safety, consistency, and positive experiences—clean leashes, secure harnesses, avoiding triggers, and giving each dog the right balance of exercise, enrichment, and encouragement. Whether I’m doing a quick potty break, a long walk, or weekend care, your dog gets the same patience and professional handling I give to every pup I work with daily.
