When I care for your kitty, I take responsibility as their guardian and treat them with the same love, care, and attention as I would a pet of my own. I was "mom" to a sweet black cat for 14 years before he passed, so I know the kind of worry that comes with leaving your furry baby with someone when you go to work or have to travel out of town. It can be all-consuming! So, understandably, your number one priority is that the person caring for loved one is sweet to your pet, attentive, and makes sure they are safe. You want someone who will treat your beloved companion with the utmost care and respect and love them as if they were their own... I have been there, and I totally understand. And I can provide that level of care for your kitty so that you can rest easy, and not have to worry. My kitty had chronic illnesses as he got older, so I have experience with administering oral, topical, and injectable medications exactly as instructed with gentle patience (and resourcefulness if needed!). So, whether it's accommodating slower mobility or providing extra comfort during medication time, your senior pet will receive the respect and tenderness their years deserve. In addition to caring for my own cat for many years, I have also cat sat for friends, whether overnight or longer. I know how kitties like to play and how important it is to make sure they have satisfied their hunter-prey instincts and have exhausted their energy before bed. Each kitty is different and I'm more than happy to accommodate your feline companion's particular needs. This work isn't just a service to me. Spending time with animals (especially cats!) really fills my heart with joy. And gaining their trust, as well as yours is a privilege, and I look forward to the opportunity.
