Availability
I work from home and can fit my schedule around any pets I need to care for. I don’t do anything on weekends so those are wide open to care for pets. I do rely on public transportation to get around so making sure the route to get to your house would be appreciated. Can also walk if it’s within a mile of me or bike to your house if it’s within 3 miles and safe to bike * starting Tuesday May 31, 2022, I will be working in an office on Tuesdays and Fridays in Washington DC. I will still be available for check ins after my shift but my availability might be limited early in the morning on Tuesdays and Fridays or late at night on Mondays and Thursdays.

A typical day
I like going on long walks with dogs or throwing the ball around for them to fetch. I love giving massages and belly rubs and will do it for as long as they want. For other animals like cats I love to play with them every day and pet them. For small animals I can provide any enrichment you normally provide that would be comfortable with me doing.

I have loved animals since I was a small child. I had an Australian Cattle Dog and Alaskan Malamute that I fed and played with as well as a cat and fish and frogs. Neighbors and friends haven relied on me to feed, play with and walk their pets. I have also cared for a rabbit and Guinea pig and am comfortable working with small animals
