I currently work a full-time hybrid schedule and am typically in the office 2 days a week (west end DC). Outside of that, I have a fairly flexible schedule, especially during evenings and weekends, which allows me to provide reliable visits, quality time, and consistent care for pets.

I know cats and dogs thrive on routine, so I follow feeding schedules closely, refresh water, clean litter boxes thoroughly, and make sure pets receive the level of interaction they’re most comfortable with. I also prioritize enrichment and playtime tailored to each pet’s personality, whether that means active play sessions, walks, or simply calm companionship. A typical day
A typical visit includes feeding, fresh water, cleanup, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of attention tailored to your pet’s personality and comfort level. For energetic pets, that may mean active play sessions, walks, or lots of engagement. For shy or lower-energy pets, I’m equally happy to provide calm companionship and let them warm up at their own pace. I also make sure to send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pets are happy and well cared for while you’re away.

As a fellow cat parent and foster, I’m especially experienced with feline care and behavior. I’ve fostered cats ranging from approximately 8 weeks old through seniors (13+ years old), including shy cats, high-energy kittens, and cats who need time to warm up to new people. I understand that every cat has a different comfort level and personality. Some want nonstop playtime and attention, while others prefer calm company and space. I’m comfortable reading feline body language, maintaining routines, cleaning litter boxes thoroughly, administering basic medications, and making sure cats feel safe and stress-free while their owners are away. I know how important it is for cat parents to have peace of mind, so I prioritize communication, reliability, and detailed updates/photos after visits.
