When I pet-sit I always make a list of the client’s wishes when it comes to safety and trust in their home. For example, some clients don’t wants pets on their furniture, or they want them in a crate after the visit is over. Written reminders from pet parents are helpful and always welcome during my visits.

A typical day
I always spend time with the pets after I walk and/or feed them. Even if they don't want to play or cuddle, just sitting with them makes them feel loved while their parent is away. I truly adore animals more than anything, so just getting to be with them is where I get the most enjoyment from this job.
