Keeping pets safe and happy!
Caring for senior pets is my specialty, but I have experience with pets of all ages (including newborn puppies!) I've cared for large dogs of my own, for most of my life. I am adept at quickly figuring out a dog's favorite ways to play and interact, and that is a huge part of the bonding process for me. Volunteering at various animal rescue organizations has kept my skills sharp when it comes to interacting with dogs of all size, temperments and with a variety of medical care needs. I currently dog & house sit for some of my neighbors and would like to spend more time, in-between, helping care for more pets. My childhood dog was a tawny Briard, who I loved to groom and trained to do several tricks! Dogs I've had as an adult include a 100+ lb Labrador Retreiver, an Australian Cattle Dog and a Pitbull Mix. I also have experience caring for dogs post-surgery (including administering IV drips) and blind dogs.

I like to help pets keep their regular routine at home as much as possible. Walks and other enrichment activities can be mixed up, or a new surprise, to keep animals mentally stimulated and reduce stress or boredom. Positive reinforcement is the only method I use for training or redirecting behavior in animals.

This is my second time working with Nicole and she is definitely a top house-sitting choice for me. Both stays have been excellent! I’m able to be away worry-free knowing the pets are safe and loved and the house being respectfully cared for. She’s super kind, great communication, and I love the updates!

We had Nicole back to stay for 9 nights to look after our two dogs again, they instantly remembered her and went straight to her for cuddles and licks which was an excellent sign. Nicole is diligent in sticking to the dogs' routine and any instructions you provide and takes excellent care of the house. She sends fun updates and photos of the dogs' activities. We know the dogs were well looked after and were given plenty of attention. Highly recommend Nicole for stress and worry free dog sitting while you are away.
Nicole was an amazing cat sitter! She was incredibly proactive, responsive, and genuinely caring throughout the entire booking. She kept me updated with thoughtful messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It was clear she truly cared about Pang, and I came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat. I would absolutely book with her again!
Phenomenal cat sitter! Even my shyest kitty warmed right up to her on the first visit. I appreciated her reliability and attention to detail. She incorporated each of my cats’ playtime/attention preferences into everyday care. She was also easy to communicate and coordinate with.
Nicole went above and beyond to sit our dogs, even when they were difficult at times. She was very communicative and thorough, asking lots of great questions. She also left our place in great shape!

Schedule
When pet-sitting, I spend most of the day at home with the pet(s.) I am back in school, taking some cyber security classes online, so I might spend a couple of hours working on my laptop. If I need to leave, it's rare that I'd be gone more than 1-4 hours. I do not smoke or vape. I am happy to let any pets sleep in the same bed, if they want to!
