**For the end of 2025 holiday/vacation season, I can only consider requests from prior clients for walks or drop-ins. My apologies, remaining availability is already very limited** I've cared for large dogs of my own, for most of my life. I am adept at quickly figuring out a dog's favorite ways to play and interact, and that is a huge part of the bonding process for me. Volunteering at an animal shelter keeps my skills sharp when it comes to interacting with dogs of all sizes and all temperments. I currently dog & house sit for some of my neighbors and would like to spend more time, in-between, helping care for more pets. My childhood dog was a tawny Briard, who I loved to groom and trained to do several tricks! Dogs I've had as an adult include a 100+ lb Labrador Retreiver, an Australian Cattle Dog and a Pitbull Mix. I also have experience caring for dogs post-surgery and blind dogs.

I like to help pets keep their regular routine at home as much as possible. Walks and other enrichment activities can be mixed up, or a new surprise, to keep animals mentally stimulated and reduce stress or boredom. Positive reinforcement is the only method I use for training or redirecting behavior in animals.

Nichole did an excellent job with my puppy. She played with him and took him on multiple walks and reported all activity with updates.
Nicole took such good care of our two dachshunds while we were away, they remembered her from Nicole’s last visit and were excited to see her again which is always a good sign. Nicole is very responsive and accomodating of our requests and keep us up to date at all times. We will definitely be booking Nicole again.
Nicole was excellent and provided me with plenty of updates when she watched my dog, Maple! I was able to relax and enjoy my trip knowing Maple was in good hands.
Nicole was absolutely fantastic with our St. Bernard, Layla. Because Layla is so large, we’re always a bit nervous about who can confidently handle her—but Nicole immediately put us at ease. She was calm, capable, and incredibly playful and loving with Layla from the start. Nicole was also very communicative and proactive throughout, keeping us updated and sent us photos. We would highly recommend Nicole and will absolutely be working with her again!
We had a wonderful experience with our pet sitter during their week-long stay in our home. From the very beginning, they were reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure our Charlie was comfortable and well-loved while we were away. Our boy settled in quickly, which gave us great peace of mind. We received regular updates, including photos and messages, which reassured us that everything at home was going smoothly. It was clear that Charlie was happy, relaxed, and sticking to his normal routines. In addition to taking excellent care of Charlie, our sitter treated our home with respect and left everything clean and in great condition. It made returning home so much easier. We would absolutely recommend Nicole to anyone looking for trustworthy, attentive, and caring in-home pet sitting. We look forward to working with her again in the future!
Nicole was such a huge help to us doing two walks a day for a week while I was travelling and my husband was working long hours. She was excellent with her communication both prior to and during the booking. She also made an effort to come over again to re-introduce herself to our two dogs as it had been awhile since she first met them. She really paid attention to the instructions about the dogs' routine and what we wanted during her visits. Our two dogs instantly warmed to her and I have no doubt they loved her visits.

Programa
When pet-sitting, I spend most of the day at home with the pet(s.) I am back in school, taking some cyber security classes online, so I might spend a couple of hours working on my laptop. If I need to leave, it's rare that I'd be gone more than 1-4 hours. I do not smoke or vape. I am happy to let any pets sleep in the same bed, if they want to!
