I've cared for my own and others dogs and cats my entire life and am especially good at making friends with timid or fearful animals. I've had dogs, cats, and a lovebird in my family (some at the same time), and had fun learning what everyone needed to feel safe, loved and a part of it all.

Am super grateful for this first housesit Christine did for us. Three somewhat needy creatures we have. Not only did she fulfill a special feeding routine (3 meals for the 3 per day, plus treats), she engaged our 2 orange tabby indoor kitties in play (not a lot needed, but they are particular about how they play). AND she won our sometimes and unpredictably grumpy malshi's heart in the smart combination of no eye-contact, and connecting thru tricks with treats (rewards for two way communication, acknowledgment). I'm persnickety about how to manage the litter, for behavior's and cleanliness sake; that and our plants and the rest of our home were well cared for. Thank you Christine! See you again soon.
Christine did a great job on pretty short notice. She followed our instructions well and -- most importantly -- read Obi's body language and demeanor to make sure he had a productive outing while not pushing it in the heat. He was very happy when we got home, and it was clear he had a wonderful visit from Christine, who gave him some additional attention in the house since the weather outside was not ideal for a longer outing. Definitely hope to use Christine again in the future and would recommend her for others!
Christine is a fantastic pet sitter! We returned home to happy pups and our place in perfect condition! Absolutely zero issues and a worry-free time away! Highly recommend!
Delighted at this first visit with Christine after our meet & greet going so lovingly! Especially grateful for Christine's experience with dogs who have various boundary preferences to work her way into Roc's heart gradually, watching for his cues (without LOOKING at him!).
Christine was great! She was patient with my shy husky mix and very communicative every day. I did not have to worry at all while I was away. Would hire her again!
Christine took amazing care of our one year old rescue during our week away. She’s a fantastic communicator and sent regular updates with adorable photos from long walks and playtime. She even taught our pup a new command, and left our home spotless and our lawn watered too! Our pup adored her and we will absolutely be rebooking. We highly recommend Christine. You and your pet will be so happy with her truly exceptional care!

- I'd love to know what makes your pet comfortable upon first greeting them at the door or when they seem timid. If I'm walking your dog, please share whether I should walk past, approach, or avoid other dogs and/or people, and what soothes them in the process. My pup calms down when I call her a goood girl in a nice but firm voice. Please share some pro-tips for your pet.
