“Colleen and Sean were excellent catsitters! They were very punctual and handled our tricky lock well. We came home to two happy cats and hope they can watch them again!”

“Elizabeth is extremely communicative and professional. She gives lots of updates and always make sure to let me know of their day. I feel very comfortable leaving and knowing my dog is well cared for.”

“Jennifer was an excellent cat sitter for Melvin. She sent several pictures and updates throughout the stay, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Melvin seemed super comfortable and well cared for the entire time, and it was clear she was great with him. Communication was smooth, she was reliable, and I had no complaints at all. I would definitely recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

“Isabelle is so kind and responsive she wrote really cute rover cards for each visit. I am so grateful I was able to find her for a last minute trip I had!”

“Aislyn was wonderful with our puppy Scout. She was super responsive, on-time, and provided great pictures and write-ups of our visit. That was especially important to us as Scout is our first puppy and we were nervous about leaving her home alone for the first time. Scout always looked so happy in the pictures and when we came home from work!”

About: I have taken classes in dog behaviors and how they act when they might need a particular action done. I have a NAPPS certification, which is National Association of Professional Pet Sitters that is earned for all small animals, both including dogs and cats. I have had my own very young puppy, so I know how to handle and train them in a gentle manner that they will respond to. I have tons of experience in senior dogs and cats, so I am patient to more slow animals or paying attention to them more and making sure they have what they need. I have an extremely open schedule and can stay over for longer periods of time than most people. I am free almost every single day for hours on end, so finding when I can come over is no trouble. I’m easy to schedule if I need to house sit, and am extremely responsible and willing to stay overnight when needed. I love taking care of animals in their own homes, knowing they’ll feel the most comfortable surrounded by their familiar surroundings. The only thing I care about is that your furry companions are safe and cared for in a way that they don’t feel out of place or missing the love they got before you left them in my care.
“Lei and Skye took wonderful care of my cat. My cat is usually very cautious around people, but she truly trusts Lei, which says a lot. Both Lei and Skye were very responsible and attentive — they checked for throw-up during every visit and cleaned everything up promptly. I could tell they genuinely cared for my cat from the heart, not just as a job. I really appreciated their patience, kindness, and dedication, and I felt very reassured while I was away.”

“Morgan was a great caretaker for our cat with daily updates and ensured our pet was taken care of, we appreciated the peace of mind and would book with her again!”

“Phoebe was great and my dog loved her and the visits! Will definitely be calling her again. She took many pictures and had fun with Jackson. I didn’t need to worry about him at all while I was away, 5 stars.”

About: Listen, I've basically run a zoo my entire life. Cats, dogs, hamsters, mice, birds, fish, chickens, you name it! Right now I have a sweet black kitty cat and a self-important chihuahua and let me tell you, keeping multiple personalities happy is my superpower. Your pet is about to get SO much love and attention. We're talking belly rubs, treats (with your permission, obviously), and someone who can make them feel so special and loved while you're away! I can do medication schedules, I can do endless fetch, I can do "please just sit next to me while I exist" whatever your baby needs. I currently work from home so I have the flexibility to pop over to your house and be a friendly presence and go on walks whenever! I always start by learning your pet's routine, preferences, and quirks so I can keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible for them. Whether it's sticking to their feeding schedule, keeping up with walks and playtime, or just being there for cozy hangout time, I follow their lead. I'm great about communication. You'll get regular updates and photos so you know how things are going. And if anything seems off with your pet's behavior or health, I'll let you know right away. Whether I'm caring for your pet at your home or just swinging by for a walk, my focus is the same: keeping your pet safe, happy, and well-loved until you're reunited. 🐾
About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life and I love them dearly! I’m looking for some excitement and would love to give extended care to a dog. I work full time but my current schedule is 7-3. I live 15 minutes from my job so I would be able to monitor the dog if they needed extra care through the day. I’m also willing to set up cameras to monitor the dog. I live in a pet friendly apartment. There is a lovely walking trail behind my house as well as many parks in the area! Plenty of spaces for activity!
“Alexandra did a great job taking care of our cats for the evening! We have one who needs several medications, and despite trying her best to hide in a new spot, Alexandra was able to find her and successfully give her the pills. We have booked Alexandra for the Thanksgiving holiday and think she will do an excellent job keeping our cats happy and healthy while we're away!”
“Josie was fantastic. On time, responsive, friendly and sent thorough report cards with pictures of Max. Was also flexible to changes in plans. Would recommend and will request again!!”

“Juan is AMAZING!! He went above and beyond with communication and over all care! My pup has special meds and Juan had no problem with it when feeding breakfast and dinner(: Juan went out of his way to go to a pet store to grab a sweater for my pup because it was cold out during their walks 🥹 It was so comforting to know Brody was with someone who goes the extra mile!! 10000% recommend!!!”

About: I’m known as a bit of a pet whisperer, able to earn the trust of shy kitties and matching the energy of playful pups. As a lifelong animal lover and proud cat mom myself, I'm excited to meet you and learn the needs of your pets! I bring years of hands-on experience, both with my own pets and caring for others'. While I'm a certified Cat-Lover, I grew up with both dogs and cats which gives me a well-rounded approach to pet care. I love getting to spend time walking, training, and playing with dogs too! If you're looking for a reliable, attentive, and patient petsitter/walker who will care for your pets as if they were their own, I'm your person! I’ve helped train dogs, introduce pets to one another, administered medications, and worked with dogs & cats of all ages. I have also adapted dog training techniques to teach cats name recall and tricks. (Yes, cats can learn if you know how to speak their language!) Getting to know each pets' routine, personality, and interests has helped me spot any subtle changes in behavior that can signal when something’s off. In my free time, I love getting to spend time with animals - whether that's taking my furbaby Salem out for a chill picnic, visiting cat cafes, playing with friends’ dogs, or petsitting! Fun fact: I always seek out bookshops with cats when I travel, and have done so from Venice Beach, CA to Venice, Italy! I'm available for drop-ins and pet-walking on weekdays and weekends while you're away. I'm happy to care for your pets during the day or evening for as little or long as you'd like, however I'm not available for overnight sitting. With a background in youth education, I'm transitioning between careers, so I have plenty of time to spend doting on your pets as if they were my own! I like to meet clients and their pets in a preliminary meeting before confirming the booking. This can be in public or in your space, so I can learn all about their routine, environment, care needs, and interests. This is also a great chance for your pets to be introduced to me with you present, which can put them at ease! Building trust is key when caring for cats and dogs, so I'm very big on letting them come to me and allowing them to adjust to a new person on their own terms. Learning what motivates your pets and what brings them a sense of safety will help me best care for them. If they're very food motivated (like my Salem!) breaking out treats is a good start, and if they're more playful then getting some of their favorite toys can draw them out as well. If you have a very independent cat who prefers quiet company or a super affectionate one who wants constant snuggles, I'm happy to adjust to those boundaries! As a cat parent myself, I understand how important communication about your pets' well-being is. I'll always provide updates and adorable photos of your cat from each visit. Getting to know your pets over time will help me identify any notable changes that could indicate recommending a visit to a vet.
About: I grew up with small and big dogs and have helped walk dogs for neighbors. I have had my current dog since she was 9 weeks old so I understand puppy energy and the training process. Happy to reinforce training as you wish and any house rules. I am a volunteer with a local dog rescue. I work full time, but my hours vary. Depending on the day, I may be available during the day or evening for a walk or some playtime. Weekend availability will vary. Please feel free to send a message regarding my availability! I will ask for detailed care instructions prior to the booking so I can get to know your pet and their needs. For any questions or concerns, I will reach out to keep you in the loop.

Thank you Alison for the fantastic photos and detailed information about the information I’ve conveyed I care the most about. And going above and beyond and my baby boy (cat) leans into you even without prolonged exposure or time btw you two which means you give off good cat instincts :) thank you for doing what you do! I trust you in my house and w my boy :)

Virginia was great with our two cats while we were away for our wedding, it was great to have peace of mind that they were in good hands. She very clearly loves cats and treated them with so much respect from their very first meeting! She also gave us updates through the Rover app each visit letting us know what mischief the cats got up to!
