About: I’ve been surrounded my dogs and cats my whole life. Typically I pet sit for friends. The pets I’ve watched are mainly dogs and cats but I’ve also done reptiles, guinea pigs, rabbits, etc. I had my own dog for 1 year and a half. We loved outdoor walks, hikes with couch snuggles mixed in. Most common breeds of dogs are Retriever, Pitbull and German Shepherds. Currently have open availability for any day of the week and any time! Open to extended stays and any length of time needed to watch. I’m not able to have pets in my home but I can come to yours and know plenty of parks in the DMV area.

About: I have two senior pups of my own! One has arthritis and the other needs insulin shots daily, so I’m very familiar with and love going at the pet’s pace on walks 🥰. I worked at a professional pet care company this past summer, and have been taking care of my neighbor’s animals since I was a little kid! I’d love to use my free time to take care of your babies, and I greatly enjoy the mood boost and exercise that comes from dog walking. My main priority when taking care of an animal is their comfort and needs. If we are going for a walk, I will make sure their harness is secure and we do not interact with other people or animals (just to avoid a reactive situation). If your pet is a senior, I’ll happily go at their own pace! I have two senior babies myself so they can’t be outside for as long anymore. The same goes for shy dogs, I will never force your pet into a situation where they seem uncomfortable being, such as going for a walk when they are fighting the harness being put on.

She brought up litter concerns with one of my elderly cats, and we were able to work with a game plan. She was able to give my elderly cat his inhaler no problem. We had booked Juan for four days to watch our cat. Unfortunately, a storm caused us to have to cancel our trip after the first day. Juan worked with us and Rover on how to move forward. On that one day we had his services, he was very communicative, sent photos and videos playing with our cat, and overall checked off all our boxes. Excellent experience working with him!
Joaquin was great! He was super accommodating about changing my cat's feeding plan after her automatic feeder disconnected from the internet while I was gone, which I really appreciated.
