“This is Kobe’s 2nd time boarding with Kevin and his family! Wonderful hosts, Kobe almost didn’t want to leave and went back in the house to say goodbye :). Will definitely book with Kevin again!”

“We are so happy to have found Byamba and his family to board our dog, Rex. He was super responsive when booking, even though it was only a week before our trip. When I dropped Rex off, I could tell that Byamba was an experienced dog watcher. He was amazing with sending updates and pictures, so we felt super confident that Rex was well cared for. Highly recommend, and will definitely be using him again for future travel.”

“Jodee and AJ are very experienced and took great care of my pup even providing pictures and updates. Being her first time with a rover I was slightly apprehensive but it couldn’t have gone smoother. The family was very attentive!”

“Alyce took great care of my dog while I was on vacation. She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures and updates. I always felt that my dog was in good care with Alyce and would recommend her to anyone looking for a good dog sitter!”

About: I offer a calm, attentive, and personalized care experience for both cats and dogs in the Tysons, McLean, and Great Falls area. With over 6 years of combined experience, I take time to understand each pet’s rhythm — from gentle brushing and quiet companionship to playful moments and frequent photo updates. My goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. I work from home, so I have plenty of time during the week to care for your pets and give them lots of love and attention. On weekends, I love being outdoors—if your dog enjoys adventures, I’d be happy to bring them along for some fun and fresh air! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine closely, keep the environment safe and clean, and treat your space with care. I provide regular photo updates so you always feel connected. I occasionally offer boarding at my home for small dogs and cats who can peacefully coexist with my friendly resident cat. I do slow, careful introductions to ensure a stress-free stay. Please note that I do not board large dogs.
“Andy was terrific. He was flexible and kind with Cooper. I really appreciated the walks and the pictures he sent to me while I was away. I will definitely ask him to care for Cooper when I need to travel again. The pictures of my dog walking with another dog were reassuring. He was understanding when my train was delayed 1.5 hours. When I had difficulty finding his house at night, he offered to do pick up and drop off next time.”

“Veronica looked after our quite anxious dog Pepper a little while back. Pepper stayed with Veronica for 4 nights, and we have no doubt in our mind that Pepper enjoyed her stay. She is at times very anxious, and she had been for the first night as well. Veronica went above and beyond to make our anxious pooch feel safe and calm. We received pictures of Pepper going for walks and sun baking in the backyard. Veronica is very responsive, and we highly recommend her for boarding. We won’t hesitate booking with her again in the future.”

“Kelly did such a great job hosting Buggy! Buggy wasn’t feeling the best and had trouble eating but Kelly did an excellent job and gave me regular updates and photos so I knew she was in good hands.”
“Reese absolutely loves Erin! He’s so excited to see her for dog walks and sitting. Erin understands his Reese-isms and takes the best care of him. I get lots of updates and photos, which I love!”

“Francise was great! She was able to accommodate us on short notice when our plans changed and was super sweet with Seamus. We got lots of pictures of him while we were away and I was very comfortable he was being well taken care of. I would absolutely use her again!”

“Elizabeth was wonderful! Super communicative, sent lots of pictures, and was proactive about making sure our dog was as comfortable as possible during her stay. It was clear that she is knowledgable and experienced in caring for all kinds of dogs.”

“Clover came home from Andrew’s house relaxed, calm, and happy after a week-long stay. Andrew is great with communication and is an expert when it comes to dogs. Highly recommend!”

“Nani is a fantastic sitter. She is kind and treats your pup like her own. She is patient and flexible. My dog really enjoys his stays with her. I highly recommend her. I love the updates and photo’s too.”

“Karol was a great sitter for our little guy. She provided updates and made sure to communicate any questions she had for his care. We can tell Pixel enjoyed his stay so much. Will rebook in the future. Highly recommend Karol!”

“Lily & Eric provided great care for Trixie. They were responsive to our communication and we always felt confident that Trixie was in good hands. The huge fenced back yard is a wonderful place for dogs to frolic.”

“Aisha was great. She took our pup, Roz, on short notice and Roz had a great time. She met Aisha's dog Chevy, the night before and was excited to come back to visit. We will definitely be reaching back out to Aisha the next time that we go out of town.”

“Aly took such good care of Duffy! She provided us daily updates and photos of him. We can tell he had a great time with Aly! We’re so glad to found such a trustworthy babysitter for Duffy!”

“Carlos is the best! He sent so many pictures of Sophie having fun I wasn’t sure if she would want to come home! She even ate every meal with no problem and that is unusual for her. Thank you so much Carlos for taking such good care of my Sophie.🐶😊”

“Gail was such a great caretaker. We went over there ahead of time to do a meet and greet and to introduce our dog with her fur baby. Gail and Corky were great hosts and he came home very happy and with a present....some of his favorite treats he enjoyed while at Gail's.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Falls Church
Karol was a wonderful Rover dog boarder for my boxer Addie. I would rebook with Karol again in the future. She sent photos multiple times a day, plus a video of Addie running outside. Karol is a wonderful communicator and I know Addie had a fun time staying with her. She came home happy and tired.

Mee Jeong truly saved our weekend when she agreed to watch our girls! We had a meet and greet before our set drop off time, and our girls warmed up to her immediately. Her dog, Daisy, was super sweet, and accepted our girls instantly. Through the course of our weekend, Mee Jeong provided daily updates, showing pictures of the walks they were going on, and updates regarding their eating, sleeping, playfulness, and walks. The girls looked ecstatic in every picture that was sent over, and I didn’t think they would want to come home with me! They were properly stimulated, and to the point of driving them home, they napped the entire way. I would be honored to have Mee Jeong watch our girls again!

So caring and a good fit for my dog Teddy. The environment was perfect for my senior little dog. The day before boarding, my little guy broke a toe and was put in a soft cast. Inwas prepared to cancel my trip, but Jennifer stepped up and took the injured guy and I knew and was right he was in good hands. Shared photos daily and comments to keep me at ease while I was out of town. Recommend highly!

As rookie dog owners with a newly adopted pup, Nyla and Corey put us at ease during our week+ trip knowing our pup was going to be in good, experienced hands. We received daily updates of our pup who seemed to have a blast playing with new pup-mates. Next time we need support with our dog, we'll be calling Nyla and Corey. They were also quick to respond before and during our booking.
Very nice, and caring. I felt safe and secure leaving my baby with Roxanna and her family. Bella came back with new extra energy from making a new friend in their dog. Roxanna communicates well and often which was reassuring while I was awhile from my baby. She is great!

Yiting was absolutely amazing. She sent us tons of updates through out Stogie’s stay. She is very knowledgeable about dogs. Our pup is very high energy and is very attached to us, but he had such a great time. He came home tired and well exercised, which is so appreciated after a trip. He had a blast!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in VA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
