Availability
Our single-family home with a large secure fenced-in yard will keep your dog active and safe. Mookie, our 7-year-old mixed pup is an escape artist and we have taken extra precautions with our fence. Both my husband and I work from home and have 2 high school-aged teens so your dog will have lots of company and rarely be left alone.

The dogs have free range of the house and plenty of outdoor access during the day. We have a large covered porch so on rainy or hot days the dogs still have outside access.

Information Alyce P. would like to know about your pet
It is helpful to know about your dog’s likes and dislikes before you board to help transition your dog. A few hard passes is if your dog is a counter surfer, known garden digger, or has high separation anxiety our home would not be a good fit. Shy and skittish is ok. We do not host puppies and if your dog still acts like a puppy (chewing shoes) please don’t reach out. We want this experience to be great for the dogs but also for us. Also, no dogs over 80 lbs.
A typical day
Lots of lounging and dog play happen in our home. Mookie spends most of her days lounging in her mulch bed (she killed all the flowers) or on the back porch. She is happy to share either space with her new friends. We have 4 dog beds scattered throughout the house and Mookie is not territorial.

Hi, I'm Alyce! We are a trusted dog family in our 4th year of hosting in our home. We host ONE dog at a time to provide personalized stress-free care. We have successfully used Rover as dog parents and know what other pet parents are looking for to have peace of mind so you can enjoy your time away. We send lots of fun pics and videos. Meet and greet is required in our backyard with our dog Mookie who is a chill Rover host and gets along with all dogs. Our goal is for the host dog to fit right into our family life and not feel anxious about being away from your home. Drop off and pick up are made easy with driveway parking. Drop off / pick up hours are 8 am-11 pm. Earlier times school days may be accommodated upon request.

Alyce’s yard set up was perfect for Daisy. It gave her freedom to roam outside and stay safe at the same time. We hope to book again with Alyce for future trips!
Alyce and her family were excellent! We had them watch Beasley for two nights, and she got along super well with their dog Mookie. Beasley has run away a couple times, and Alyce was super understanding and accommodating, given Mookie is an escape artist herself. She let Beasley roam around in their big fenced-in backyard, and was great about feeding her and providing daily updates. Would definitely book again with Alyce in the future!
Alyce and her family were fantastic as always! Shoji loves them!
