As a cottage baker, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for throughout the week. About: I have owned Dogs and/or Cats my entire life, all family members are Pet Owners. My folks have a small farm and I have been around animals forever, they make life so much better!! I have a fairly open schedule Monday - Friday during the daytime hours. My Wife is a Pastry Chef during the day and I will be available to hangout with your furry family members. About: With over 15 years of being a dog mom and volunteering for dog rescues, there is little I have not/cannot do for your pup. I am able to administer meds, at least two daily walks, ample play time and lots of belly rubs. Experienced in effective humane dog training. I am currently on a hybrid schedule. I work from home 2-3 days a week, but I work 5 min from home and come home for furry family potty breaks. I do not work weekends. I have a fenced in backyard. I have two dogs that are vaccinated, house trained and crate trained. Dogs get ample human interaction and lots of walks.

About: I have owned dogs pretty much my whole life with just a gap right now as I don't have the space to responsibly have such a family member. I do know how to take care of a variety of things when it comes to animals as I used to volunteer in a shelter a few years ago. I've also cared for a variety of pets and am comfortable doing so with familiarity. For my previous experience, I have mainly worked retail for the past 5+ years while mixing in some volunteer work at the aforementioned shelter and a public library. I just recently moved to Charlottesville last August so I am still exploring the town. One thing I don't particularly care for with apartment living is that there isn't enough space to have a canine companion, hence why I am looking on here to hopefully still interact with some cute pups! I do currently work full-time, and most of my free time is in the evenings and early mornings. I'm fairly open on weekends, though and even on holidays (if I'm off work). I will only be able to go to a client's home, just for the well-being and safety of my own little girls. But, I'd treat you little (and not so little) ones like my own (who are spoilt brats). Whether that's walkies or cleaning up messes, playtime or administrating meds, they'd be loved for the short time that I would be able to spend with them.

Lei and Skye took wonderful care of my cat. My cat is usually very cautious around people, but she truly trusts Lei, which says a lot. Both Lei and Skye were very responsible and attentive — they checked for throw-up during every visit and cleaned everything up promptly. I could tell they genuinely cared for my cat from the heart, not just as a job. I really appreciated their patience, kindness, and dedication, and I felt very reassured while I was away.
Virginia was great with our two cats while we were away for our wedding, it was great to have peace of mind that they were in good hands. She very clearly loves cats and treated them with so much respect from their very first meeting! She was exactly who we needed to care for our finicky sweet cat. Abby communicated with us every time she visited with photos and videos of our kitty. She updated us on our kitty’s patterns and eating habits and learned when she wanted attention and when she needed a little space (so important for cats!). She was flexible with needing to find supplies in the house like trash bags when we didn’t leave enough out. Our cat clearly loved having her there and warmed up to her quickly. Bubs is usually visibly stressed after we are gone even with care but this time she was happy and relaxed when we got back. Abby was really the perfect cat sitter for us!!
We had to request a last minute sitter for our cats and Zosha was immediately responsive. He was such an amazing sitter for my two kitties! He definitely made me feel like they were in safe hands the whole time and made it very easy to enjoy my trip away without any anxiety. We got pics and updates every single visit. One of my cats required eye ointment twice a day and Zosha did such a great job despite how squirmy my one cat can be. Cannot thank him enough and will definitely be rebooking in the future!!
