“Sophia is a wonderful sitter. She keeps me updated about my dog Coby. I highly recommend her and will rebook her again to watch my Coby in the future. Thank you Sophia for taking care of Coby. ~Hanelyn~”

“Absolutely fantastic Petsit!! Seth took care of my pup recovering from surgery on 3 legs. He asked the right questions and was genuinely interested in the comfort and care of our little boy!! Very thankful and I will be booking him again!”

“Michael did a great job looking after our dogs and cats. We were gone for two weeks and he was very reliable and responsive the whole time. We were confident everyone was very well taken care of and didn’t have to worry about them while we were away. We will definitely ask Michael to watch everyone again in the future!”

“Becky did amazing with my Daisy May, she stayed even a bit over her time and my baby girl lovedd her, they played and my pup even got the zoomies! Defiantly will book with Becky again!”

“Maria has done an outstanding job taking care of our kitty. She leaves really detailed updates on our cat and took really good care of him. We were really worried about finding a great person to take care of our cat for a week, but Maria was awesome! Would highly recommend her to everyone!”
“Many thanks, Samantha! So grateful we connected here. She’s been so good to and with my dog. He’s a grumpy old guy but she’s won him over :). She’s been great at keeping us in the loop with updates and pics, responsive to what he’s in the mood for (eg walk v hanging in the yard) and keeping an eye on how he’s doing. Really appreciate her working us into her schedule as we quickly became one of her regular clients. Highly recommend Samantha!”

About: I’ve taken care of family dogs almost my whole life. I’ve been trusted to walk, feed and play with them. I am not a professional trainer but can adapt to help with the process! I’m currently a student at college but since I am mainly online I usually can be pretty flexible! I can do walks mostly on an as needed basis I will not be doing in home care but overall I will be making sure leashes are snug on and all doors closed within reach of the pet.
“Brianne has been wonderful with our dog, Lilly. She’s communicative, kind, and very patient. She also provides thorough reviews and summaries of her visits! We have really appreciated her dedication!”

About: Hi there, for the past 7 years I have been a social worker, most recently working with at-risk youth. I love spending time with animals and am hoping to spend more time with them in my downtime. I've owned cats and dogs for the past 25 years. I currently have 2 cats: Teddy and Noggin who are both 8 years-old. I've been pet sitting for the past 11 years and enjoy the joy it brings. I am great at paying attention to detail, dependable, responsible, and on time. I am super reliable, highly responsible, very loving and patient with animals, communicate well, and know basic pet first aid. I am available any weekday evening and am available during the day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I am typically close to home on the weekends and can easily fit pet sitting in then as well! I have two cats that are indoor only with balcony access. My cat, Noggin, has heart disease and I am comfortable administering pills and treats. I have cared for dogs that have been crate trained and am comfortable putting them in crates when leaving. I have also administered medicine to dogs in the form of a pill pocket or food (peanut butter/cheese).
“Beth is a natural with pets and very accommodating. She gave us great peace of mind our dog was in good hands and being taken care of while we went away over the holiday. I cannot thank her enough and hope she will sit for us again even though our dog is not the easiest.”

“Shelby was great to work with! She was communicative and responsive. We loved the pictures she took of our sweet baby. We also appreciated the thorough updates we received! We would highly recommend Shelby!”

“Trent did a great job taking care of my two cats with just a couple of days notice. He was very easy to work with, easy to communicate with, and is obviously a pet lover. Would definitely work with him again.”

Lucas was GREAT!! Mishu can be shy but opened up to him fairly quickly<3. Lucas went out of his way to update me on how Mishu was doing, as well as sending me pictures of her. It was nice being able to know she was okay from afar. You can truly tell Lucas loves animals, even Mishu noticed haha. If you’re looking for a sitter for your sitter for your furry babies, i would 110% recommend Lucas.

Sonia did an awesome job taking care of my cats. They got plenty of love and attention, she was very punctual showing up for the appointments, and she did a great job giving one of my boys oral medicine (both liquid and pill). She also took great photos that were really awesome to see while I was gone ♥️♥️

This was Kate’s first time watching my crew and it couldn’t have gone better. From the initial meet and greet to the last day everything was great. My cats took to her almost immediately. She is very communicative and send pictures every visit. It makes it easier to travel when you know your pets are being well cared for.

Ni did a great job watching our cat while we were away for two weeks. She was very diligent about providing many pictures daily showing her completing each activity that we asked her to do, much more so than other cat sitters we have used in the past. Our cat is older and requires some specialized care, including a couple medications and cleaning up frequent messes she makes, having more difficulty than younger cats with her daily activities. Ni did everything she needed too well and diligently. We would definitely use her again and recommend her to others.

We love having Yan come take care of our cats while we’re away! This is the second time we booked her and we will definitely book in the future. She sends us updates with funny and cute photos of our cats and you can tell by her report that she really spends time with them and knows their personalities. It makes such a huge difference to know our cats are well taken care of while we’re away.

Alison was very easy to work with and took wonderful care of our three cats. She made sure they were fed, played with, had plenty of water, and made sure the waste drawer in our litter robot was never too full. She also helped with bringing packages in and watering a couple of plants. Book with confidence when picking Alison!

Ella did an amazing job with my tuxedo cat! She sat and played with her-gave her treats-scooped the litter box-even managed to brush her a little! Tazz only comes out for those that she trusts- Ella was patient and kind and took her time with her. I will be booking again! Highly recommend this young lady!!!

Winnie was AMAZING with our dog and cat. She gave them tons of attention and made sure they were mentally stimulated. She also sent us thorough updates after each drop-in, which relieved a lot of our anxieties. I would definitely rehire her, and I highly recommend her if you want someone who takes care of your pets like they’re her own.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Mantua. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
