Don't Fret! I've got your pet!
I have years of pet experience under my belt, as I've taken care and owned my own pets for most of my life. Throughout my childhood, I have owned a dog, cats, a bearded dragon, fish, and even mice. As an adult, I have owned rats in the past, and I currently am the proud mom of two pretty kitties and one sweet puppy. Based on my history as a pet owner alone, it's clear that I'm experienced with a wide variety of animals. As a sitter, I have taken care of dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes -- large or small, senior or puppy, shy or outgoing, mean or nice. I've seen it all, and I am very comfortable with all living things (I see you, plant parents). I am extremely flexible, attentive, and caring. As a pet owner myself, I understand how stressful it can be leaving your baby(ies) with a sitter. This is why I can promise to meet any needs of yours or your pets' no matter how high maintenance (I get it, my cats are spoiled too), and I can maintain any routine or ritual to ensure my visits go smoothly. I work full time as a teacher and tutor. My weekday availability is mornings and evenings. I am available all day on weekends, and I am usually off on school breaks and holidays.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I am a full time teacher and tutor. On weekdays, I am available mornings (5-10:30) and evenings (7:30-10:00). I am usually off (or light) for school breaks and holidays, so please check with me about afternoons, as I am sometimes free. I am also free all day on the weekends.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
In my clients' homes, I am always extremely careful to keep doors closed and locked, clean up any messes the pets have made, and be overall respectful and courteous of the environment. I will always respect the owners' wishes and follow whatever directions they have given me (for example, I won't enter any spaces that are unrelated or unnecessary to the pet). I also prioritize pet safety. Out of habit from my own pets, I always scan all accessible locations for anything out of place or harmful. Plastic bags, trash, open cupboards are examples of some things I check for before leaving a pet alone. I make sure there is nothing that pets could get into.
Pets
A typical day
I am the biggest fan of hiking, so I love to take dogs walking on any nearby trails. I also make it a habit to play fetch with any animals I take care of. If they know tricks, I can always help them practice. I know cats are not always down to play, but I will make my best effort to get them interested. When I encounter a playful cat, I will use balls, string toys, springs, or anything else that the owner recommends to engage with them. Lastly, if your pet is a cuddler, I am an expert on giving pets and scratches. If your pet wants to sit in my lap for 30 minutes straight, you can count on me to be the best chair ever!
