About: Hello! I'm Valentina! I have experience caring for pets of different ages and needs, including my 10 year old cat and my sister’s 4 year old dog. Most recently, I cared for a Giant Schnauzer puppy right through his crazy growth spurt, from the day he came home at 3 months old all the way until he was 7 months old! Working with a high energy, big pup takes a lot of patience, consistency, and structure, so I kept him on a solid daily routine with twice a day walks to burn off that puppy energy and practice good leash manners. I’m also a very active person and genuinely enjoy being outdoors, walking, and staying on the move, so I love being able to bring that energy and enthusiasm into caring for pets. I have a flexible schedule and I’m generally available for walks and drop-in visits in the morning from 7:30 to 9:30 AM and in the afternoon from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. I’m happy to be flexible and work around your pet’s routine whenever possible. A little advance notice is always appreciated so I can plan my day and make sure I can give your pup the time, care, and attention they deserve. I love caring for pets in their own homes, where they can stay comfortable and stick to their familiar routine. I find that pets tend to feel more relaxed and at ease in their own space, especially when their owners are away. I’m happy to follow their normal routine, whether that includes feeding, walks, playtime, or any special instructions, and I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and care while you’re away.

About: I personally have a 2 year old Siberian husky back in Colorado that I dearly miss. I have taken care of smaller dogs like Yorkies as well. I enjoy their company and taking them on walks I’m free mostly on weekends. If you need me to drop off or take them for a walk during week days, I can do so. About: Growing up, we had almost as many dogs as we did kids in the house. My parents were huge pet people, so I guess they just passed it down to me as well however, even as a child, I always had a love of animals. There were many times that I brought home birdies with broken wings, or tried to sneak frog in the house without my mom noticing. My love for animals only grew the older I got but also my education. Being able to work directly under licensed veterinarians, gave me the opportunity to understand treatment plans for minor and major issues that animals can face. I was given the opportunity to work with newborn animals along with those that require senior care. I’ve also had the pleasure of taking care of animals that are expecting and helping to bring new life into the world. It was during this time, but many friends and neighbors took the opportunity to ask me to watch their animals. Anytime they went on vacation or maybe just had to take a long business trip. Even when an animal is in their home, having a new person around can still sometimes be nerve-racking. But I take pride in knowing that I’m able to make sure they feel comfortable and loved even when their parents are away. I work from home teaching English as a second language. This allows me a very flexible schedule throughout the week. I have open availability Monday through Friday. I’m also able to help out on the weekends depending on the timing. However, I’m willing to be flexible. Traveling as an adult with pets can sometimes be difficult. I remember being stressed over whether or not I’ve picked the right boarding facility, or worrying that they would have too many differences in their day-to-day routine while I was away. He is 19 years old and needs a lot of gentle care and attention. Going out of town is generally very stressful for us to leave Cayenne at home, but he clearly loved her!! Elisabeth was an absolute lifesaver while I was traveling! She was incredibly patient, caring, and attentive with my cat, Coco. I was away for over 20 days, and I could tell that Coco was well cared for and didn’t feel nearly as lonely while I was gone. Elisabeth was also extremely responsible and flexible with the key handoffs. We had to coordinate the key a few different times, and she even offered to drop it off with my friend, which I really appreciated. She also took so many adorable photos of Coco without me even having to ask. Getting all those cute updates made me miss Coco a little less while I was away. I’m so grateful to Elisabeth for taking such great care of Coco, and I would absolutely trust her to watch Coco again! ❤️
