“We feel so lucky to have Phoebe as Smokey’s sitter for years! She consistently takes such wonderful care of our cat, and it gives us complete peace of mind whenever we’re away. You can tell Phoebe genuinely loves animals. Smokey absolutely adores her and is always so happy and comfortable in her care. Phoebe is reliable, attentive, and always keeps us updated, which we really appreciate. It is clear Smokey isn’t just being looked after - she is being cared for and truly loved. We couldn’t ask for a better sitter and highly recommend Phoebe to anyone looking for someone they can fully trust!”

“Amanda did an amazing job, always keeping me in the loop of how they were doing and making sure they were well taken care of!! Incredibly flexible and reliable. I’ve used her for the past 2 months and will continue to do so!”

“Alison was spectacular! We had a meet up before we left and Jasper warmed up to her instantly. She communicated often and took lots of adorable photos. We will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!”

“Jane has been excellent with our 9-month-old beagle during her checkin service. She informs me of any unusual things that she observed, in addition to taking care of our dog. She also kept a close eye on our dog’s after-surgery suture area, sharing pics and building rapport with our dog. Highly recommend!”

“Chloe was fantastic! I was traveling with Winnie, a Boykin Spaniel puppy, and I had to stop for a few days of Work in the DC Metro. Chloe came over to the hotel and made sure that Winnie was fed, watered, walked and entertained while I worked all day. I'm sure this was a unique situation but Chloe made it work and did an excellent job. I highly recommend using Chloe, Thank you so much!”

My schedule is flexible for drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins throughout the week. I’m available for both recurring and occasional pet care, and I do my best to keep pets on their normal routine while their owners are away. About: I’ve cared for dogs&cats since elementary school. I’d find myself naturally responsible for feeding, walking, cleaning, and loving them. I’ve done cat sitting for a friend for as long as a month, and dog sitting basically all my life since I grew up them. I’m experienced in caring for pups less than a year old, and older dogs as well~ I worked at Dogtopia where I handled over 40 dogs in one room! I have experience handling dog scuffles and managing dog behavior. My current schedule is open and free Sunday through Saturday. The holidays being an exception as I will be out of town for the week of Christmas. I am prepared to meet the needs of your 4-legged loved one in any way that they need. Request and I will deliver as best as I can. I believe our furry friends deserve respect and have boundaries as we do.
About: Ever since I was little, I have been known to care extra for the animals and creatures around me. I can remember helping out with family friends' dog, cat, or horse feedings fairly early on in my life. I have petsitting experience as well as internship experience at Ark Veterinarian Hospital, where I completed a 6-week full-time internship shadowing Dr. Kate Connell 2 years ago. I was able to work with some amazing technicians and doctors. I was even able to observe a few orthopedic surgeries. Now I can say that I have worked with all sorts of dogs and cats in varying medical and behavioral states. I feel incredibly grateful for the experience. I have pets of my own; my family dog Cabot (a Welsh Springer Spaniel) lives with my dad in Middlebury, and my cat Somtso (a beautiful longhair rescue) lives with me between Pennsylvania and Virginia. My family and I have cared for Cabot for over 7 years now, and sweet Somtso for over 5. I am a full-time college student going into my senior academic year at Dickinson College and am curious about fun ways I could save some money this summer. Let me know if you have any specific questions! Summers are the best time for bookings. Between semesters I have full time flexibility to accommodate a variety of bookings and locations. Working for rover allows me to organize my hours in a way that is best for me and my clients. I live with roommates on campus, and alternate between living spaces when I am home, so having pets stay with me is not something I am able to accommodate at this time. I would love to be able to care for your pets elsewhere. I can do anything from long walks or games of fetch to tire an excited pup out, light training and feedings, and any help with medication or supplement schedules.

Alex is so amazing! She’s taken care of our cats twice now and it’s been great each time. Very communicative and accommodating, stays longer than we even say, and takes a lot of pictures and videos :). One of our cats was also on medications and she handled that with ease as well! Definitely would rebook!

Thank you Alison for the fantastic photos and detailed information about the information I’ve conveyed I care the most about. And going above and beyond and my baby boy (cat) leans into you even without prolonged exposure or time btw you two which means you give off good cat instincts :) thank you for doing what you do! I trust you in my house and w my boy :)

Lindsay was the best! I have a very clingy cat and she didn't hesitate to sit down and spend some time with her every visit. I received text and photo updates every day. It was a big relief knowing my favorites were taken care of while I was away. I'll be booking Lindsay for my time away in the future for sure!

Virginia was great with our two cats while we were away for our wedding, it was great to have peace of mind that they were in good hands. She very clearly loves cats and treated them with so much respect from their very first meeting! She also gave us updates through the Rover app each visit letting us know what mischief the cats got up to!

Kayly was a fantastic sitter for our cat while we were out of town!! She was so nice in our messages and sent us plenty of photos of our cat and made sure she was comfortable and well cared for. She also was very communicative throughout the service and responded to all of our messages very quickly. We’d recommend Kayly to anyone who is looking for a caring and communicative pet sitter!

She was exactly who we needed to care for our finicky sweet cat. Abby communicated with us every time she visited with photos and videos of our kitty. She updated us on our kitty’s patterns and eating habits and learned when she wanted attention and when she needed a little space (so important for cats!). She was flexible with needing to find supplies in the house like trash bags when we didn’t leave enough out. Our cat clearly loved having her there and warmed up to her quickly. Bubs is usually visibly stressed after we are gone even with care but this time she was happy and relaxed when we got back. Abby was really the perfect cat sitter for us!!
