About: I have pet sat for my neighbors since I was 15 years old, professionally so for a collective 8 years. (from childhood to today totalling 21 years) I grew up with at least one dog in my parents household, loved both our family dogs through their senior years and beyond. I am pet cpr/ first aide certified, currently own a 9 year old Grey Domestic short hair cat, Thor, and my 28 year old horse, Riley. I take away toys and bulky sticks if I leave the house so they dont choke on things by accident. I have a crate in case I dog sit a nervous dog so it can relax and get much needed rest in between walks. I am also big into training and reading dogs body language to avoid conflict. If the dog we are sitting is nervous around other dogs, then I make sure we skip socializing with other dogs and focus on training to help build confidence

My cats have their own quirks/cat dynamics and she was able to pick on them very quickly. 😊 She has great attention to detail and is a great communicator. She brought up litter concerns with one of my elderly cats, and we were able to work with a game plan. She was able to give my elderly cat his inhaler no problem. Alexis did such an amazing job with my senior cat, Cayenne. She gave amazing Rover reports/photos and she was able to administer fluids for my cat. He is 19 years old and needs a lot of gentle care and attention. Going out of town is generally very stressful for us to leave Cayenne at home, but he clearly loved her!! I will 100% be using her again if we go out of town.

We had booked Juan for four days to watch our cat. Unfortunately, a storm caused us to have to cancel our trip after the first day. Juan worked with us and Rover on how to move forward. On that one day we had his services, he was very communicative, sent photos and videos playing with our cat, and overall checked off all our boxes. Excellent experience working with him!
