I’ve taken care of animals my entire life. I’ve had all kinds of animals, from tiny dogs to big dogs, from social cats to the prickly don’t get too close to me types! I absolutely love animals and have been a vegetarian for 8 years. I currently have two dogs of my own, and often take care of my family’s senior dog (going strong at 16 due to the loving care!) I love going on long walks as well.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide consistent, attentive care. I’ll always follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and household rules. I understand that every pet is different; some love attention, while others need space—and I’ll respect what makes them feel most comfortable. I’m happy to provide regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where your pet feels secure and cared for until you return. I am also okay with crating if need be!

Joaquin went above and beyond in every sense. In addition to this already being a last minute request, he provided detailed daily updates on my Aeris, spent time with him, and even cleaned up Aeris’ food area and took out the trash. I’m so glad to have found him and would gladly rebook.
Joaquin did an excellent job taking care of my dog and she barely noticed that I was gone! I am definitely going to choose Joaquin again in the future!
Joaquin has been an excellent caretaker for my animals over several years. He’s taken care of dogs of mine, cats, and even frogs at one point! You can count on him to give your animals the care they need and plenty of love too.

Schedule
I’m currently on summer break from teaching so I have a lot of free time on my hands to care for your furry or scaly friends and family! When the school year begins late August my schedule will be more limited to evenings and weekends.
