Pet care experience
Teacher By Day, Dog Lover by night!
I’ve taken care of animals my entire life. I’ve had all kinds of animals, from tiny dogs to big dogs, from social cats to the prickly don’t get too close to me types! I absolutely love animals and have been a vegetarian for 8 years. I currently have two dogs of my own, and often take care of my family’s senior dog (going strong at 16 due to the loving care!) I love going on long walks as well.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide consistent, attentive care. I’ll always follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and household rules. I understand that every pet is different; some love attention, while others need space—and I’ll respect what makes them feel most comfortable. I’m happy to provide regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where your pet feels secure and cared for until you return. I am also okay with crating if need be!
Ratings and reviews
We had a great experience with Joaquin! ! Our dogs were well cared for, and we loved getting updates and photos. We would definitely recommend Joaquin!
great cat sitter! Appreciate Joaquin for making a few changes to schedule. super kind and reliable!
Wonderful, as always. Amethyst enjoyed her time with you and we returned home to a happy, well cared for kitty. It gives us assurance to leave our furry bestie with someone we can trust. We are a repeat customer. Thanks, Joaquin.
Joaquin did a great job watching our cat while we were out of town. Excellent communication and care were provided. He went above and beyond and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a sitter!
Joaquin went above and beyond in every sense. In addition to this already being a last minute request, he provided detailed daily updates on my Aeris, spent time with him, and even cleaned up Aeris’ food area and took out the trash. I’m so glad to have found him and would gladly rebook.
Joaquin did an excellent job taking care of my dog and she barely noticed that I was gone! I am definitely going to choose Joaquin again in the future!
