“Taylor was absolutely perfect and took the best care of my kitties while I was away! She gave me so much peace of mind with updates and photos, and it was so clear they were getting lots of love and attention. I could tell she genuinely cared for them like they were her own, which means everything as a cat mom. I came home to two happy, well-cared-for babies and I’m so grateful. I would 1000% book with Taylor again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and amazing with pets!”

“Jennifer did an incredible job caring for our cat! She was thoroughly communicative, kind, and attentive to our cat's needs. She's professional and respectful and we highly recommend her!”

“Phoebe has watched our two cats twice now and I will always book her to watch them when we’re out of town. The cats love her and she always sends cute updates and pictures everyday. She doesn’t just feed and water them, she interacts with them and gives them lots of cuddles while we’re away. She is so appreciated!!”

“Spencer and Julia were fantastic! They were super flexible for a meet and greet before completing a drop in visit for me. During the visit, they messaged me when they arrived, made sure to leave a note about how my dog did, and reassured me that they had locked the doors back when they left — all without me asking first. They sent multiple pictures and went above and beyond what I had asked them to do to care for my pup! Can’t recommend them highly enough!”

“WOW! Aimee took such great care of our kitty while we were away. She came for multiple daily visits and sent detailed updates with great photos. She truly went above and beyond our expectations to make sure our cat was well taken care of and I felt so much better knowing Aimee was there for her. I will absolutely be using Aimee for any future travel.”
“Absolutely excellent. We went on a long trip to Asia and the biggest thing for me was that I could actually enjoy my trip because I knew they were in great hands. She walked our dog daily in addition to playing with her outside in the backyard and really helped get her energy out and quality time. She was patient and kind with our cats and did an excellent job in finding ways to get them to take their medicine (3 of the 4 cats take medication). She cleaned our house throughout the stay but did a final clean on the day we got back and that was such a huge plus for us. It was nice coming home to happy animals and a clean house in order. So happy we found Tara and can’t wait to have her pet sit again.”
“Amazingly communicative and so kind! Sends plenty of pictures and detailed updates to put your mind at ease of whether your fur babies are in good hands. Looking forward to having her again!”

About: I have fifteen years of pet sitting and care experience, to include drop-ins, walks, feedings, litter box cleaning and overnight stays. When I was little, I wanted to be a veterinarian, and then a zoologist. Neither career panned out, but my love for animals remained. Now I get my fill of furry friends by providing excellent, worry-free care for your pets! As a proud mom of three urban hens, I know how nerve-wracking it is to be away from a beloved pet. That’s why I provide frequent updates and pictures to my clients so that they can go about their workdays or trips without anxiety. I specialize in cats, dogs and birds. I can’t wait to meet your pet! I am currently freelancing part-time, which provides me with an extremely flexible schedule to care for your pets! From walks to drop-ins to overnight stays, I can provide a variety of services to DMV pet owners When in your home whether for a drop-by or overnight stay, I am committed to making your pet feel as comfortable and happy as possible in the absence of their person/people. I follow my clients’ instructions and specifics of their pets’ routines, and follow them closely. I also provide lots of love and cuddles (or love from afar for pets that don’t like to be touched!)
About: I have taken classes in dog behaviors and how they act when they might need a particular action done. I have a NAPPS certification, which is National Association of Professional Pet Sitters that is earned for all small animals, both including dogs and cats. I have had my own very young puppy, so I know how to handle and train them in a gentle manner that they will respond to. I have tons of experience in senior dogs and cats, so I am patient to more slow animals or paying attention to them more and making sure they have what they need. I have an extremely open schedule and can stay over for longer periods of time than most people. I am free almost every single day for hours on end, so finding when I can come over is no trouble. I’m easy to schedule if I need to house sit, and am extremely responsible and willing to stay overnight when needed. I love taking care of animals in their own homes, knowing they’ll feel the most comfortable surrounded by their familiar surroundings. The only thing I care about is that your furry companions are safe and cared for in a way that they don’t feel out of place or missing the love they got before you left them in my care.

“Aislyn was wonderful with our puppy Scout. She was super responsive, on-time, and provided great pictures and write-ups of our visit. That was especially important to us as Scout is our first puppy and we were nervous about leaving her home alone for the first time. Scout always looked so happy in the pictures and when we came home from work!”

“Drew was great with my “quirky” dogs while I was out of town. She took great care of them. She was on time, provided photos, kept me informed, etc. I would definitely use Drew again in the future.”

“Amada is amazing, she took very good care of our 90lb/41kg Airedale terrier, Wembley while we were on vacation. Wembley is a rescue and is very discerning with his human friends. We will use Amanda again.”

“Claudia is so great with my shy kitties. She’s very reliable and dependable. We are repeat customers and hope she will continue to be available.”

“Absolutely fantastic Petsit!! Seth took care of my pup recovering from surgery on 3 legs. He asked the right questions and was genuinely interested in the comfort and care of our little boy!! Very thankful and I will be booking him again!”

“Dominick was great with our babies! He was very attentive and his communication was the exact information that any pet owner would want to hear. Definitely recommend!!!”

“I think our cat Charlie might like Maia better than he likes us! ? She takes such excellent and thoughtful care of him every time we are away, from administering meds to playing with and feeding him. She knows all his habits, likes, and dislikes. I hope everyone is lucky enough to have someone like Maia take care of their furry family members!”

Woodland Acres cat parents share their Rover experiences
I was very pleased with Erica as a pet sitter for my cat. She was very reliable and I liked the way she took notes during the intro visit. It was the first time I had used her as my pet sitter and the first time using Rover in many years. Erica sent pictures and gave me updates daily as to how things were going with my elderly cat and she was very good at communicating with me regularly. She handled bringing in the mail and also another small house chore. I appreciated her flexibility. Most importantly, she seemed sincere in wanting to help my cat be as secure and comfortable as possible when I was away.

We’ve been having Mya help us with our cats for a couple of years now and she’s hands down the best pet sitter! She goes above and beyond, giving them so much attention while we are gone. We love her reports…they are full of information and photos. It’s the next best thing to being home with our kitties!
Maia was absolutely fantastic! She was super communicative and sent a bunch of adorable photos and lengthy notes with updates on my cats. I have two little anxious babies and she was so good about making sure they took their meds and I could see from the photos how relaxed they were around her. When I came home they weren’t even mad at me for being gone! Would 10/10 recommend!

Kayly was a fantastic sitter for our cat while we were out of town!! She was so nice in our messages and sent us plenty of photos of our cat and made sure she was comfortable and well cared for. She also was very communicative throughout the service and responded to all of our messages very quickly. We’d recommend Kayly to anyone who is looking for a caring and communicative pet sitter!
