About: I have two senior pups of my own! One has arthritis and the other needs insulin shots daily, so I’m very familiar with and love going at the pet’s pace on walks 🥰. I worked at a professional pet care company this past summer, and have been taking care of my neighbor’s animals since I was a little kid! I am a college student currently so my schedule is quite interesting! I’d love to use my free time to take care of your babies, and I greatly enjoy the mood boost and exercise that comes from dog walking. My main priority when taking care of an animal is their comfort and needs. If we are going for a walk, I will make sure their harness is secure and we do not interact with other people or animals (just to avoid a reactive situation). If your pet is a senior, I’ll happily go at their own pace! I have two senior babies myself so they can’t be outside for as long anymore. The same goes for shy dogs, I will never force your pet into a situation where they seem uncomfortable being, such as going for a walk when they are fighting the harness being put on.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was young, and animals have always been a big part of my life. I’m currently a live-in nanny, and I also care for the family’s dogs. When their owners are away, the dogs stay with me and even sleep in my room so they feel safe and comfortable. Mya was amazing! My cat Lily usually is very shy and takes a long time to open up, but Mya was able to get her to come out of her shell very quickly. Lily felt comfortable around Mya and was happy and healthy when I was back. Mya is also very communicative. I would definitely have Mya look after Lily again!
