About: I genuinely love all animals, I think they are the greatest joys and best friends that adore you, and we are their whole world, so we have to care for them while we have to also go on vacation and be away sometimes, so as a person who has been in both shoes as a rover user and a sitter I am eager to help. I work from home and have remote online school, I am pretty flexible with timings and if I can’t do a time, I will probably offer something close to your proposed times. I do go out of town to visit family every other month or so. Read your instructions & respect your space. Greet the pet and play with them, feed, make sure they have a clean bowl and water, and feel comfortable with me.
About: I’ve grown up around animals all my life. My family always had 1 dog and 1 cat, and my extended family had a variety of dogs/cats. I volunteered walking shelter dogs in college and feel comfortable with any size/type/age. Just let me know how your pet does best on walks or for visits and I can accommodate them! I work full time during the week, but get to work from home at times and have a flexible schedule. Weekends I am free and love to be outdoors and active. My apartment does not allow pets but at home I lived with a cat and dog and am familiar with making sure they get the attention needed - playtime, always having a full water bowl, bathroom breaks or a clean litter box, fed on time and to their liking, etc.

About: I've had dogs and cats in my home and I’ve learned that every pet just wants love, attention, and belly rubs! My best friend is a vet tech, so I’m always learning fun tips and tricks to keep pets healthy and happy. Being the oldest sibling, I’ve had years of practice taking care of things (and loving it!). Your pet will be treated like family. I also have my own cat (though he doesn't stay with me right now), so I hope it sets your mind at ease knowing I'm also a pet mom myself :) I'm currently working full-time 8 AM - 5 PM, but I'm looking for any hours outside of that. If you are located anywhere in the DMV area (DC, Arlington, etc.) I have no problem commuting to find your pet for their evening walk. Additionally, I live in a pet-safe apartment in Ballston, VA and have no problem with taking in pets also. I have a 2 Bed, 2 Bath apartment. I currently don't have my cat with me, but will bring him in the next 6 months. Otherwise, the apartment does have a big living room space and I've bought a litter box for my own cat to have later. The apartment complex has a designated area for dogs and other pets to be walked. I will take time to get to know your pet and cater to them :)

We can’t say enough amazing things about Sarah!! We are so grateful to have found her. She took such great care of our two kitties - it made us so happy to know they were in such good hands while we were away. Sarah was incredibly communicative and kind - she sent us so many updates and pictures and her Rover cards always had fun little anecdotes about the cats that made us smile. Our cats absolutely loved her too! In addition to looking after the kitties, she also took great care of our house, bringing in packages and even taking out the trash. This weekend, she was incredibly accommodating with our schedule, making multiple drop-in visits to ensure Ollie was well cared for while we were away. Deniz was amazing with Jolie for all 11 visits! Jolie is usually shy, so it meant a lot to see how much she loved her. Deniz kept her on a great routine, played with her a lot, made sure her toys were working, and even cleaned up Jolie's messes, which she totally didn't have to do. The pictures and journal were so sweet, I was excited to read them everyday. She gave me so much peace of mind, and I'd definitely book her again!

She did a phenomenal job in caring for all my cats and giving them each their own special attention and followed the care instructions very well 😊 she has very great communication skills and sent many pictures of all the kiddos.
