About: I’ve lived with dogs for well over a decade, including currently a Yorkshire terrier. Friends have relied on me to take care of both cats and dogs for extended periods (up to a month) doing house sitting, and I’ve also helped out at the DC Brandywine Valley SPCA shelter doing dog walks. I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pets! Message me to make sure our schedules match for that day, but morning and evening can easily be arranged! In a clients home, I’ll be sure to see that your pet is cared for in the way that most appropriately aligns with your treatment of them. I’m always happy to give pets and love, but if they need a more stern or cautious hand those needs will be met.
“John took great care of my cat Katsu and was great with keeping me updated with detailed & thoughtful reports and photos while I was out of town. I would 100% recommend him as a cat sitter!”

“Maria was awesome! She took such great care of my cat for a week and sent tons of cute photos and detailed updates. I came home to a very happy cat. I’d recommend Maria to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Katherine went above and beyond caring for our dog when we took a last minute weekend trip. Not only that but she did extra tasks like bringing in our packages and even offered to sweep snow off of our stairs. She is reliable and communicated very well. Highly recommend her!”

“John is awesome - we highly recommend him! He has exceptional communication and is very responsive before/during his visits. He is great with our pup who can be challenging with new people - he’s incredibly patient and knowledgeable about caring for dogs, including our very large puppy!”

“Priscilla was great with my cat, who has daily medicine needs (an inhaler and pills)! She gave him his meds easily, played and cuddled with him lots, and I came back to a very happy cat :) Her check-ins were very detailed and I really appreciated the photos she sent along too!”
About: I'm a devoted Dog Auntie to a spirited Mini-Aussie, two lovable Labs, and even four horses! My heart still holds a special place for my Puggle rescue, Henry, who was my adventure buddy across three states and a cherished therapy dog for seniors until his passing in 2021. With over 25 years of experience, I connect instantly with dogs of all ages and personalities. From training playful puppies to providing compassionate care for senior dogs, I’ve done it all—including guiding my Puggle Henry in his professional training. Your furry friend will be treated like family in my care, with plenty of love, fun, and attention. Expect fetch sessions, refreshing walks, and cozy snuggles! Book with me for peace of mind knowing your pup is in experienced, caring hands. I'm currently a freelance writer who works from anywhere: cafes, coffee shops and even your couch. This enables me to pop in for a walk during the day or spend the weekend (or longer) with your dog while you're away. I live in a tiny home with very little space, so while I will consider watching your fur baby in my home, I believe they would be more comfortable in their environment. I have been pet sitting in the valley for several months now, and have excellent references.
“Ana Marie is a cat whisperer. By the second visit, my very shy cats stopped hiding. The third visit, she was bribing them with Churu. So glad to have met her”

About: My earliest memory is of my first dog, Max, and ever since then I have loved dogs and love to do anything with them. I have raised 6 dogs ranging from 6lbs to 140lbs and puppy to senior. I walk my own dog, Bonnie, 3 times a day and would be honored to give your own dogs the same love, care, and exercise in my free time! I am available for booking on Tuesday and Wednesday from early morning until 9:15AM then 11:00AM-3:00PM and finally 4:30-8PM. Monday, Thursday, and Friday I'm available only 11am-3pm I care for pets as if they are my own and treat your house better than my own. I would never want to inconvenience you by preforming or behaving in any manner below your expectations.

About: I grew up with cats and have grown to love dogs. I had my own cat for 13 years before he passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I love to care for my friends' pets! But with an open home, I'm ready to treat your best friend like my new best friend! I've taken care of cats and dogs extensively throughout my life including providing medication at regular intervals. I've also looked after snakes, turtles, and geckos, but I don't have any equipment to house them. But I love all animals whether fuzzy, furry, or scaly! I live in downtown DC in an apartment building close to several parks. I have a hybrid office job but live a short walk away from my office, so it's easy for me to swing back home whenever is necessary. I regularly catsit and dogsit for friends, but currently don't have any pets of my own. I respect animals autonomy, but always prefer to play, cuddle, or walk with the pets. They'll have full access to my apartment. They're welcome on furniture and if they prefer to hang out solo, that's okay, too. They'll still get the same love and attention, just from a few feet away.
“I can’t say enough great things about Zuly! She went above and beyond to take exceptional care of our pets while we were away for the holidays. She was always punctual and sent detailed updates with studio quality photos at every visit. I’ll be a repeat customer. I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. Thank you, Zuly!”
“Nicholas was great with Ella - we came home to a happy cat. Nicholas was also really helpful when we realized we had given him the wrong key - he followed our instructions to access our back door and use our spare key and even made an extra trip to our house because of it. We will definitely hire Nicholas again!”

“Marta was great looking after our cat, Bijou, while we were away for our honeymoon. She was consistent with her check in times and provided detailed updates on how our guy was doing. She even helped bring in some packages that had arrived and looked after our dying plants :)”

About: I have a few years of pet sitting experience in my hometown, and I am looking forward to continuing to do so now that I am in college! I will be on break starting in early may and ending in late August, but I will continue sitting when I come back! I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, and will always communicate effectively with owners when necessary. Furthermore, I have experience providing care for pets with medical conditions, and will be able to provide that service if needed.

“I am very happy with the care that Nithya provided my cat Ellie while I was away. She arranged a meet and greet ahead of time which was a great warmup for my very shy kitty. At each visit Nithya sent pictures and reports of how Ellie was doing which was very reassuring. She gently and patiently coaxed Ellie to trust her. Nithya was reliable and very caring. I think she has a very special talent with cats!”

Mohammed is a terrific cat sitter. He got to know our two cats and their personalities really well, and made sure both of their needs were met. He was also very communicative about potential issues with the cats and with our apartment while we were away. We were able to go on vacation with peace of mind that they were being loved and taken care of. Will definitely be asking him to cat sit again!

Isabella was absolutely wonderful. She was able to help me out fairly last minute, followed all directions to a tee, was super self-sufficient, and took excellent care of my cat. Even gave him some extra cuddles and play time. Would definitely work with Isabella again
I always feel relieved leaving my cat under Chelsea’s care. She’s great at making my lazy cat play and giving her her inhaler. I can tell she’s very comfortable from all the cute photos Chelsea shares. I highly recommend choosing Chelsea to look after your pet :)
