About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, especially cats, so I naturally understand their Needs and unique personalities. Even though I’ve never owned a dog of my own, I’ve cared for many dogs through friends and family — from puppies who need full attention to older dogs who need extra patience and care. I also have experience giving pets oral medication, so I’m comfortable following special routines. My goal is always to give each pet the same love, comfort, and attention I’d want for my own! I am currently a full-time student at Howard University so I have class everyday. With any free time I have on my hands not studying or in class, I’d love to help! Im happy to take your pets on walks, give them fresh food and water, and spend quality time with them so they feel cared for while you're away. Im gentle and attentive, making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Building trust is very important to me, and treat one like my own! :)
About: Since I can remember I was always a pet lover. I have experience walking varying breeds from small mixed breeds to husky’s, as well as cat sitting. Five years ago I got an Australian Shepard, she has been a ball of energy in my life. I have experience with energetic and anxious animals. I only walk one dog at a time, unless you book a walk for multiple dogs. Please message me any questions. ***AVAILABILITY*** *Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri 9am till late evening *Tues 9am-3pm *Weekends vary due to school and racing (please reach out for weekends) I'm currently a masters student taking classes Tuesday nights and Saturdays, so I have plenty of time to play & take care of your pets! I'm available for dog walks & drop ins Mon, Wed, Thurs, and Fri 9am-8pm, and Tues 9am-3pm, some weekend availability. My calendar is constantly being updated with my current availability. Safety is a top priority for me, I care for each of the pets like they're my own! I only walk one dog booking at a time, no pack walks. I will make sure to follow any guidelines and preferences, I only give treats which are approved and as directed. I promise a picture every time I am with your pet. For Dogs, I love to play with them and promise they will get much love, attention, and pets. For walks I can use a preferred route and tend to avoid dog parks for safety reasons. For Cats, I will adapt to what the cat prefers. If they need time to warm up to me, I will give them the time and space needed, I will gladly play with them, pet them, or if they just want to do their own cat-things I will supervise them.
“Maria was very thorough and communicative about her visits with our two cats. She sent lots of photos and spent quality time with our cats. She is great and hope to use her services again in the future!”

“John is awesome - we highly recommend him! He has exceptional communication and is very responsive before/during his visits. He is great with our pup who can be challenging with new people - he’s incredibly patient and knowledgeable about caring for dogs, including our very large puppy!”

“Nicholas was great with Ella - we came home to a happy cat. Nicholas was also really helpful when we realized we had given him the wrong key - he followed our instructions to access our back door and use our spare key and even made an extra trip to our house because of it. We will definitely hire Nicholas again!”

About: I grew up with dogs always in my life! Before I left for my internship, I have a German Shepherd, a husky and a pitbull lab mix and I’ve taken great care of them! I miss them a lot as they are with my parents at home. I’m currently working part-time, so early mornings or evenings and nights work best for me! Weekends are great too! I can definitely work around schedules! I am gentle with dogs, but also love to play with them. I grew up with big dogs so I know sometimes they can rough house!
“Niamh was a wonderful sitter for my cat! She was timely, communicative, and showed Pauline so much love and kindness. Came home to a very happy kitty and would not hesitate to have her sit for us again!”

“Will did a great job watching Ez & Eve! He provided proactive updates with fun photos and descriptions and it was clear that our kittens enjoyed play time with Will. He was reliability, onetime, and updates showed he followed our pet-care instructions. We will trust Will for future drop in and vacations.”

About: MONDAY: ALL DAY availability WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY: available until 3pm I moved from Denver to DC last August, where I had my own business for the past 6 years walking and caring for pets in the Mile High City. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, reactive dogs, and every type in between! I am comfortable dispensing medication, keeping reactive or large dogs under control and sensing any uncomfortability around other dogs we may see on our walk. I’ve gotten lucky enough to be able to take some clients on hikes after we get to know each other enough and love being able to get the pups out for the day! Please contact me for most up-to-date availability! Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends my schedule can change, but I am always happy to make something work for you and your pet! I want to make sure your pup is comfortable with a new person walking them. We will stay on a route they are comfortable with and I will give them lots of praise so we can both have a good time on our walk and your mind can be at ease!
“We just got our puppy and had to leave for a wedding so we decided to book with Rover. Savannah was great with our puppy and made sure he received love throughout the day!”

“Robin wonderfully cared for my two felines for a week on a drop-in basis. With plenty of pics and updates, she even stopped by when my flight back home was delayed a day to make sure they had enough food. Certainly my first go-to for care of my cats.”

“Matthew is great! We have two cats and Matthew watched them while we were away for a week. He was communicative and thoughtful and our cats seemed to enjoy his drop ins! Place looked great upon our return. Would definitely book again.”

Lia did an incredible job taking care of our companion animals. She went out of her way to do a meet and greet with us so that she could get to know us and all of them beforehand and to gain their trust. She was an amazing caretaker, followed instructions perfectly, and was always excellent with giving us updates, photos, and asking questions when necessary. I would definitely hire her again!
I can always depend on Abby. Her communication is clear and timely; she never leaves me guessing about how my cats are doing. She even noticed one of my cats might be overheating and I was able to ask her to turn up my apartment’s AC. I’m so appreciative of her help. Thanks Abby!

Davis was fantastic! He stopped by to check on our cat, Ruthie, while we were away and did an outstanding job. He was an excellent communicator, keeping us updated with messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind during our trip. We highly recommend Davis to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Lauren took wonderful care of our two cats, including our 17-year-old tabby who had a few issues to keep an eye out for. She sent us very helpful video reports and overall kept us well informed. Communication was also great. All in all, a very positive experience!

Mila went the extra mile to care for my cat Ziggy while I was out of the country. She provided lots of details about Ziggy’s activities and took many photos of Ziggy’s antics during her visits. You can count on Mila to treat your pet the same as her own pets. I highly recommend Mila for your pet’s needs.
