“The pictures I get just show how HAPPY my dog is on his walks. Dominic is flexible, incredibly communicative, and I feel at ease knowing he is talking care of my best boy.”

About: My past work as a veterinary technician has provided me with years of experience caring for diverse breeds, specializing in coordinating complex feeding schedules and managing senior pets with health needs. I prioritize a safe and calm environment for every animal. I have been retired for two years, which makes me available all hours of the day. I am flexible with providing care on weekends as well as weekdays. If it is your wish that I do so, I am available to stay with your pet in your home if needed. Your pet will receive the same care I would provide to my own
About: Hello! I love spending time around dogs. I have a 9 year old golden retriever named who is the light of my life. I have helped take care of my friends dogs and senior dogs as well. When it comes to dog walking, I also love to make sure dogs are not only getting their exercise in, but experiencing new surroundings on their walk. I currently WFH so I am able to tailor my schedule to when your pets need my services! However, early mornings, evenings and lunch time are usually the most open times for me. While Im not offering services for room and board, I do live in a pet friendly apartment with pet friendly amenities, if there is a need to bring your pet home with me.
“My dog, Bliss, really liked Victoria and I felt very comfortable with Victoria walking Bliss. Victoria was on time and responsive to Bliss. I would definitely hire her again!”

About: I love pets! I’m an accountant working remotely with small business founders, and I’m looking to gain experience caring for other’s pets and to spend time with our community’s furry friends. Since I don’t have space for a pet of my own, I’ve taken care of a few of my friends’ pets over the last year. I really enjoyed caring for them, and I’m excited to care for more pets! I am a self-employed accountant working remotely for small businesses across the US. I can work from anywhere, so pet care can fit well into my daily and weekly routine. I am happy to schedule calls and meetings around what works best for you and your pets! In your home, I will keep up the routines and comforts your pet is used to. I can take them for daytime walks, keep up with their eating schedule, and look after them closely to keep your space as tidy as you left it!
About: I have owned and taken care of dogs since 2018. I have a friendly Double Doodle pup who can help socialize your dog and be a walking pal for him/her/them. We’re looking forward to meeting you! I work remotely with a flexible schedule. I walk my own dog through the neighborhood daily and would love to help nearby dog parents get their pup out the house during the day with a pal. I pick up your dog and allow your pup to get acquainted with my dog before we take a nice long walk, up to an hour. In the front door or yard and out, quickly!

“Jada and Naz walked our two poodle mixes at 10pm every night while my husband was out of town for 18 nights. One of our dogs is anxious and reactive, but they were able to work with her kindly and effectively. They had very good communication and were good-spirited even when it was raining.”

“Anne was kind and knowledgeable and made my first Rover experience positive one. I have a small breed dog with leash reactivity so having someone other than myself walking him makes me nervous, but Anne relieved me of my concerns. I would definitely use her again!”

About: Hi, I'm Adam! I have long legs great for long dog walks! I have 2 dogs of my own, Lola and Bonnie, and grew up with my family dogs, Thunder and Blade. I have also been asissting my girlfriend for the past 4 months with dog walks through Rover, as she is a sitter as well. I am ready to branch out on my own and give your pets the attention they deserve and the help you need! I am available everyday from ~10AM-12PM and 1:30PM-3:30PM. Evening walks are available, however they are a case to case basis. Reach out and let me see what I can do for you! I care for pets as if they are my own and treat your house better than my own. I would never want to inconvenience you by preforming or behaving in any manner below your expectations.

About: I grew up with cats and have grown to love dogs. I had my own cat for 13 years before he passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I love to care for my friends' pets! But with an open home, I'm ready to treat your best friend like my new best friend! I've taken care of cats and dogs extensively throughout my life including providing medication at regular intervals. I've also looked after snakes, turtles, and geckos, but I don't have any equipment to house them. But I love all animals whether fuzzy, furry, or scaly! I live in downtown DC in an apartment building close to several parks. I have a hybrid office job but live a short walk away from my office, so it's easy for me to swing back home whenever is necessary. I regularly catsit and dogsit for friends, but currently don't have any pets of my own. I respect animals autonomy, but always prefer to play, cuddle, or walk with the pets. They'll have full access to my apartment. They're welcome on furniture and if they prefer to hang out solo, that's okay, too. They'll still get the same love and attention, just from a few feet away.

“Jondle was great with our older (and sometimes stubborn) French bulldog! She was very responsive throughout the entire process and made a point to come meet me and Eloise before she started caring for her.”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I grew up with two dogs and two cats. I have years of hands-on experience walking, feeding, playing with, and caring for both cats and dogs while making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter and fostered animals, giving me experience with pets of different ages and personalities. I know every pet has their own routine, and I’ll follow your instructions while providing dependable care. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I’m currently very flexible and can accommodate a variety of schedules, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I understand that every pet has their own routine and I’m happy to work with you to provide care that fits their normal schedule. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, a drop-in visit, or extra attention while you’re away, I’ll do my best to be available. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my priorities. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any other special preferences. I’ll treat your home with respect, keep it clean and secure, and make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I’ll also send regular updates if you’d like so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands!
“Jefferson takes great care of my big guy. He jumped in for a last minute need and now is our weekly walker. During our first meeting he took diligent notes which showed me his high level of care. Definitely will use again.”

About: Hi! My name is Riley, and I would love to help care for your dog. I have two goldendoodles of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone who is trustworthy, patient, and loving with your pets. I have experience walking, feeding, playing with, and caring for dogs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just some extra attention, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I know every dog has their own personality and routine, so I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you provide. I can’t wait to meet your pup! I am currently a graduate student at George Washington University. I have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I am available for dog walks most other days and times. I’m happy to be flexible and work with your dog’s routine whenever possible! I care for my own two goldendoodles at home, so I have daily experience with feeding, walking, playtime, basic grooming, and giving dogs lots of love and attention. When caring for a client’s pup, I will always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including walk preferences, feeding schedules, leash rules, and any special care needs. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Washington, D.C.
We were devastated when our Rover Walker relocated to the west coast; but Rover has provided a plethora of phenomenal Walkers. Becca is pitching in during vacation. She’s so kind and responsible. She shows Frankie such care and gentleness. In fact she is so good with him that I want her to continue beyond vacation. She will be walking him two days a week providing me with a much needed morning rest. Frankie has taken to her like a stamp to a letter.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Cassey is so great! She was able to help with a last minute request to walk my dog Willa, provided great communication, and even agreed to arrive ten minutes early for an introduction. She clearly loves and cares for the pups she walks. It was very clear Willa had a great time with Cassey, and I will 100% be booking with her again.

Kelly is so helpful with our dogs! She is always on time, takes them on terrific walks, and is great at communication. The dogs like her, and they are strong — Kelly does a terrific job handling them both at the same time. That’s over 100lbs of pittie all at once :-) Thanks so much, Kelly!
Kyle did another excellent job! The weather was extremely hot, and he took the time to check in with me before the walk. He even brought water along to make sure Macho stayed hydrated throughout. It’s clear he genuinely cares, and I felt completely confident knowing Macho was in such great hands. Highly recommend!

Julia’s love for dogs is evident the minute I met her which gave me great comfort. She has great energy is pleasant responsible always on time and loves what she does. Being in aspen one has to be careful and aware of the surroundings due to the wildlife and their interest in small dogs. I had no doubt my dog was going to be kept safe. Star ⭐️ loves Julia and loved their time together
