“Dominic was attentive during out Meet and Greet, and was very communicative as I shared information on how to get to get the key, and some quirk's about Caspian in general. I am glad he had a good experience, and appreciate his note. Now we know who to call next time Caspian needs a walk! :)”

About: I have a lot of experience with dogs. Since I was 14, I trained my family dog and have been taking care of him for 9 years. I also assisted my brother in training his lab along with dog sitting for neighbors, friends, and family growing up. I’m currently a nurse at a local hospital, and on my days off I love spending time outdoors and staying active. I’m looking to earn some additional income while doing something I truly enjoy—caring for dogs! With a flexible schedule and plenty of free time on my off days, I’m excited to help care for your pup and give them the attention they deserve. I have extensive experience working with animals, having studied them in college and grown up in a family business that operates a doggy daycare. As an active person who enjoys spending time outdoors, I’d love to have a furry companion join me for walks and fresh air. I always prioritize the safety and well-being of every pet in my care, and I understand how important trust and communication are when someone else is caring for your animal—so you can count on me to keep you updated and ensure your peace of mind.
“Jefferson takes great care of my big guy. He jumped in for a last minute need and now is our weekly walker. During our first meeting he took diligent notes which showed me his high level of care. Definitely will use again.”

About: I grew up in a two-dog household my whole life, so caring for dogs from a young age has always been a part of my daily routine. I have been away from home for nearly 5 years now, spending the last four at college, and now obtaining a masters degree here in D.C. I genuinely miss having dogs apart of my daily life, and always finding myself asking the recurring question of 'may I pet your dog'. Growing in a more rural area, I truly understand the dopamine that animals obtain from the ability to go outside or play. Living a more active lifestyle, from a young age I understood the necessity for dogs to have that too. I have spent numerous years, typically around the holiday season, petsitting and dog walking for friends and family. I am currently looking for part/full time positions, most likely within the food industry. Currently I am able to commit to pet care at any point throughout the morning, day, and evening, with the exception of nights. I have experience from raising a puppy to taking care of older dogs, and everything in between. I am comfortable with crating a dog, cleaning up after messes, walking, and playing.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I quickly build strong bonds with dogs and genuinely treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, belly rubs, fetch, or cuddles, I love making sure dogs feel happy, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. What sets me apart is my experience caring for dogs with different needs and personalities. I regularly care for my parents’ Golden Retriever, who has separation anxiety, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and giving extra attention to dogs who need additional comfort and reassurance. I have also pet sat in clients’ homes for multiple nights at a time, caring for multiple dogs at once while maintaining their routines, exercise schedules, feeding times, and any special instructions. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and making pets feel safe and cared for when their families can’t be there. I am currently in school and working part time, but I am very flexible. Most of my school is online, and during work I am able to leave during lunch time and only work for about 6 hours, 3 times a week. I do not have a huge yard, so I would have the dog on a leash and take the dog on long walks. Crates are fine if needed. Once again I am very accommodating, so if there is something the dog needs to feel comfortable I can work with that.

About: I grew up with cats and have grown to love dogs. I had my own cat for 13 years before he passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I love to care for my friends' pets! But with an open home, I'm ready to treat your best friend like my new best friend! I've taken care of cats and dogs extensively throughout my life including providing medication at regular intervals. I've also looked after snakes, turtles, and geckos, but I don't have any equipment to house them. But I love all animals whether fuzzy, furry, or scaly! I live in downtown DC in an apartment building close to several parks. I have a hybrid office job but live a short walk away from my office, so it's easy for me to swing back home whenever is necessary. I regularly catsit and dogsit for friends, but currently don't have any pets of my own. I respect animals autonomy, but always prefer to play, cuddle, or walk with the pets. They'll have full access to my apartment. They're welcome on furniture and if they prefer to hang out solo, that's okay, too. They'll still get the same love and attention, just from a few feet away.
About: Hello! I love spending time around dogs. I have a 9 year old golden retriever named who is the light of my life. I have helped take care of my friends dogs and senior dogs as well. When it comes to dog walking, I also love to make sure dogs are not only getting their exercise in, but experiencing new surroundings on their walk. I currently WFH so I am able to tailor my schedule to when your pets need my services! However, early mornings, evenings and lunch time are usually the most open times for me. While Im not offering services for room and board, I do live in a pet friendly apartment with pet friendly amenities, if there is a need to bring your pet home with me.

“Jondle was great with our older (and sometimes stubborn) French bulldog! She was very responsive throughout the entire process and made a point to come meet me and Eloise before she started caring for her.”

“I have used Matthew a few times. Mostly for my cat. Once on a last minute request for a dog. He is always prompt and reliable and caring for my pets. Thanks Matt !”

“Jada and Naz walked our two poodle mixes at 10pm every night while my husband was out of town for 18 nights. One of our dogs is anxious and reactive, but they were able to work with her kindly and effectively. They had very good communication and were good-spirited even when it was raining.”

About: I love pets! I’m an accountant working remotely with small business founders, and I’m looking to gain experience caring for other’s pets and to spend time with our community’s furry friends. Since I don’t have space for a pet of my own, I’ve taken care of a few of my friends’ pets over the last year. I really enjoyed caring for them, and I’m excited to care for more pets! I am a self-employed accountant working remotely for small businesses across the US. I can work from anywhere, so pet care can fit well into my daily and weekly routine. I am happy to schedule calls and meetings around what works best for you and your pets! In your home, I will keep up the routines and comforts your pet is used to. I can take them for daytime walks, keep up with their eating schedule, and look after them closely to keep your space as tidy as you left it!
“My dog, Bliss, really liked Victoria and I felt very comfortable with Victoria walking Bliss. Victoria was on time and responsive to Bliss. I would definitely hire her again!”

Kayli was absolutely amazing! She took excellent care of my dog and made the entire experience stress-free. Her communication was outstanding from start to finish—she kept me updated, sent messages, and made sure I always knew how things were going. I felt completely comfortable knowing my dog was in such capable and caring hands. I would highly recommend Kayli to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and compassionate dog walker.

Lakshmi was amazing! She came to us and did well with Artemis. There were hiccups with our front desk the day of the walk and Lakshmi was the perfect balance between communicative and patient, and sent photos and updates about the walk! Very very grateful she was able to help us out!

Kathleen came to walk my puppy after he had been crated for several hours so I know he was probably super energetic. She took him on a long sniff walk and sent cute pics and a video. She was a pleasure to meet in person for our meet & greet and I just knew I could trust her!

Havi has been a god send! Although she’s only been walking Frankie for two weeks, he has totally fallen for her. He watches the door each morning and when the door opens, he flies to meet her for his walk. The sight of his little wagging butt is so adorable. Havi is definitely a winner!

Kyle was fantastic! We did a meet-and-greet beforehand, and Macho instantly took to him, which gave me a lot of confidence. Kyle is friendly, professional, and communicative, keeping me updated and making the whole experience stress-free. Most importantly, Macho absolutely loves his walks with Kyle and is always excited to see him. I highly recommend Kyle and would book with him again without hesitation. Five stars!
