About: I have a lot of experience with dogs. Since I was 14, I trained my family dog and have been taking care of him for 9 years. I also assisted my brother in training his lab along with dog sitting for neighbors, friends, and family growing up. I’m currently a nurse at a local hospital, and on my days off I love spending time outdoors and staying active. I’m looking to earn some additional income while doing something I truly enjoy—caring for dogs! With a flexible schedule and plenty of free time on my off days, I’m excited to help care for your pup and give them the attention they deserve. I have extensive experience working with animals, having studied them in college and grown up in a family business that operates a doggy daycare. As an active person who enjoys spending time outdoors, I’d love to have a furry companion join me for walks and fresh air. About: I recently spent a month cat sitting. I loved hosting him. He warmed up to me quickly. I gave him ample pets throughout the day. I work from home most days so I am able to offer plenty of attention. I should be able to accommodate their feeding schedule! Happy to discuss scheduling as well as your needs and preferences! I am able to offer drop ins visits during the day within Dupont Circle, otherwise before or after work would be more realistic. I live in a small, open space, great for exploring and playing. I am quick to clean the litter box. Happy to send photos regularly! I am also able to sit rabbits!

About: Hello! I am appreciative of all fuzzy friends, big and small. I have two cats of my own, with loads of dog care experience. I have lots of experience with young puppies, senior pets who need medication (oral pills or otherwise), fickle kitties, and shy pets. I’ve trained three cats from kittens, and can provide care for those still learning litter box manners. I work a traditional 9-5, and wfh 3 days a week. Depending on the day, I can offer a lunch break check in, meal time pop ins, and lots of weekend love! As a visitor of your home, I am open to whatever method you employ for your friend’s safety. I have experience with crate training and am happy to continue your training practices. In my own home, I keep my cats safe by keeping out a toxic plants/food items and practicing general cat safety (no breakables near the shelf edges ifkyk).

About: Hi, I’m Colin! I’m a DC-based animal lover with rescue volunteer experience offering dog walks. I first started volunteering with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and Humane Rescue Alliance in 2018, shortly after moving to DC. I was looking for a way to get involved in the community, and spending time with dogs was one of the first things that came to mind. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to help transport dogs to and from adoption events, handle dogs while they meet potential adopters, and take rescue pups out for walks, day outings, and little neighborhood adventures. I really enjoy walking dogs because it gives me a chance to step away from the busyness of the day and get outside for a bit. I’m happy to match the walk to your dog’s personality, whether they like to keep a steady pace, take their time sniffing every tree, get some energy out, or just have a calm potty break and some attention. I know every dog is different, so I’ll pay attention to what makes your dog comfortable and follow your instructions closely. I keep my radius small and my schedule realistic so I can be reliable, deliberate, and fully present with each pet. On walks, I’ll avoid situations that feel crowded or stressful, and make sure your dog feels safe, cared for, and comfortable. I work remotely in Adams Morgan with a flexible schedule, so I enjoy using part of my day to get outside for local walks and drop-in visits. I currently offer dog walks and drop-in visits in your home, rather than boarding or daycare in my apartment. During each visit, I’ll make sure doors are closed and locked, leashes and harnesses are secure, and your pet is comfortable before I leave.
