About: When I was 16 I was given the choice between getting a dog or a car… and chose a dog. I always have had a love for dogs, whether it’s having my own or being able to be around others. Growing up I had an English Bulldog that I adored. After I moved to DC, my roommate and I fostered a dog from the Humane Rescue Alliance and she was recently adopted! We had her for 4-5 months, and she was an absolute joy to have. She was found on the streets of DC, so I had to work with her on some things like walking on a leash and getting her basic commands down. Now that we don’t have her anymore, I would love to take care of others dogs! I work a sales job, so my weeks are pretty flexible. I have fully remote Mondays and Fridays so those are usually the best days for me to help out during the week, as well as the weekends. I live in a townhouse very close to meridian hill park and would love to take a dog on walks/to the park to play or just hangout!

About: I grew up in a household with at least two dogs, so caring for dogs has always been a part of my life. As an adult, I’ve also lived with roommates who had dogs and regularly helped with walks, feeding, playtime, and giving them plenty of attention. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m happy to stick to your pet’s routine to help them feel comfortable while you’re away. I work remotely on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, which gives me the flexibility to offer dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. I can plan my work meetings around your pet’s schedule to provide timely walks, potty breaks, feedings, or check-ins. I also have availability on some weekends and will do my best to accommodate your scheduling needs. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and get fresh air under supervision, and I also live near a park that’s perfect for walks and exercise. Inside, my home is clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly, with plenty of space to relax and receive one-on-one attention. Please note that my home does have stairs, so it may not be the best fit for senior pets or dogs with significant mobility challenges. I’m always happy to discuss your pet’s individual needs to make sure my home is the right fit for them.
