“Absolutely! Here’s your revised review with those thoughtful details included: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were visiting Washington D.C. and needed someone to walk and care for our pup while we attended events. Rut was amazing! She even met us the day before for a meet-and-greet at no charge, which gave us total peace of mind. She came to our hotel and walked our cavapoo twice — she was incredibly professional, accommodating, and kind. She really went out of her way to work with our schedule and timeline. Her communication was excellent, and we felt completely at ease leaving our pup in her care. Highly recommend her to anyone needing trusted and thoughtful pet care in DC”

“Jefferson takes great care of my big guy. He jumped in for a last minute need and now is our weekly walker. During our first meeting he took diligent notes which showed me his high level of care. Definitely will use again.”

About: i've had experience with newborn puppies to senior care and everything in between. i love taking pups on walks around the neighborhood, biking adventures, or park play time depending what they’d like to do! I work hybrid and can be flexible on days in the office to stay home with your pup (or go to the office to give them some alone time at home to nap if they’d prefer!) please provide care instructions if possible. i will love your pet like my own - walks, play, cuddles, food, and water! happy to take extra care with medications or other specific needs.
About: I have been petsitting and dog-walking since I was middle school and have worked with all sizes and many breeds of dog. Excited to spend some time with some doggos as I do not currently have a pet of my own! I work remote from the Shaw/Mt. Vernon Triangle area and my schedule is relatively flexible. I work remotely and have some flexibility throughout the day. I am particularly available in the mornings and evenings, but can fit in a mid-day walk as well. I cannot currently host dogs at my own home as I am renting. I am more than happy to care for your dog in your home or take your dog out in the neighborhood for walks.
“Tobias was a wonderful friend to little Moni. He gave updates in real time and was very communicative throughout his time with us. Looking forward to booking him again.”
“Dominic was attentive during out Meet and Greet, and was very communicative as I shared information on how to get to get the key, and some quirk's about Caspian in general. I am glad he had a good experience, and appreciate his note. Now we know who to call next time Caspian needs a walk! :)”

About: Hi, I'm Cymia! I’m a college sophomore and student-athlete free for the rest of July and first week of august to care for your pet! I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, and I started pet sitting back in middle school. When I’m not training, I love being out in nature, listening to music, and hanging out with animals. Because of my athletic background, I have plenty of energy for long, active walks, but I'm just as happy cozying up with a cat. I’m reliable, active, and available for flexible summer scheduling. I can't wait to treat your furry family members like my own I have plenty of time to care for your pets! As my schedule has no current commitments to anything else I am looking to get to know some new furry friends For my own pets, I keep a solid routine with regular meals, plenty of exercise, and a safe environment. I make sure nothing that can be chocked on or dangerous for your pet
“Always a pleasure to work with Lia as she is so sweet, patient, and attentive with my puppy, Theo, who just adores her! We are always so excited for the next time Lia and Theo will get to hang out!”

About: Hi, my name is Sofi! I work from home full-time, which allows me to spend plenty of time with pets. I’ve grown up with animals and have loved being around them my whole life. Since moving to the U.S., friends and people in my social circle have trusted me to pet sit, house sit, and take care of their pets, including dog walking. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex in a very walkable area, close to parks and green areas, perfect for daily walks and playtime. While I don’t have pets of my own, I truly enjoy their company and the joy, energy, and good moments they bring. I’m offering my services on Rover because I love spending time with pets and can provide them with attentive care while I work from home. I’m flexible on cost and cancellations. I’m happy to answer any questions or provide more details about me, you can reach out anytime, and I usually respond quickly. I work from home full-time, which allows me to easily integrate pet care into my daily and weekly routine. My schedule is generally flexible, so I can take regular breaks for walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins throughout the day, rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. I follow each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and medication if needed, ensuring they are comfortable, safe, and well cared for throughout the day.
About: I work from home and sometimes find myself missing outdoor activities around the city. I have been walking for Wag the past 6 month and I love it. Actually a pet parent recommended me to get on Rover to build more relationships in the area. Since I work from home I have a lot of free time on my hand, so I usually schedule dog walks during the day and evenings. I care for them like if they was my own. I believe in going outside (dog park, fields, etc.) in a space where they can roam free. Just like me I know dogs don’t want to be stuck in the house. I am very good in keeping you updated and sending pictures and videos.

About: I am a recent graduate student looking to care for dogs — of all sizes and ages! — in my spare time while living in DC. I grew up with two Bichon Frises (both lived to be 16+) and now have my own small rescue dog. I have also spent a lot of time with other dogs. I love walking, playing, and hanging out with animals. Also, I consider myself to be a responsible, hard-working, and communicative person. My schedule is flexible to walk your dog — I just need advance notice to make it work. Just let me know and I will do what I can to best care for your pet. Thank you for your consideration and let me know if you have any questions! I look forward to working with you and your pet. I am currently working part-time and flexible to walk during the day. I would love to use my free time to hang and play with your pup! I am a considerate and responsible dog sitter. I’m happy to stay overnight, take your dog on walks, and assist with any special requests for your dog.
“Thomas was very communicative and my dog liked him instantly. He walked her and provided a good update after on how it went. I’ve booked with him twice now and will be going forward.”
“OMG Frankie adores Jacquelyn. He gets up and sits in a chair at the end of the hallway waiting for the knock @ the door. He then runs down the hallway at lightening speed to greet her. At that point I am invisible and only the lady who opens the door. It’s hilarious to see them cuddling and playing as they get ready for his walk. Great job!”

About: I've been taken care of dogs the past 5 years. It started with taking care of my grandmother and it transitioned over to dogs since. Im not working at the moment, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies. I prefer anytime before 8pm. Im not taken care of the dogs anymore. Before or after their walk I can give them a bath in your backyard and feed them.

Charlie went above and beyond taking care of my dog on 4th of July. They already had a plan in place for safe walking considering the severe heat and left a nature video on for the afternoon to help drown the noise of the flyovers! Would rebook Charlie any day, highly recommend!

Robert was our walker for more than 3 years, and we never once had any issues with his service. In fact he frequently went above and beyond, offering to help monitor minor medical issues we were treating during his walks, placing packages inside our apartment when we weren't home to grab them during the day, and handling last minute emergency requests when they came up. Plus, both our pets adored him. 10/10, would recommend to anyone, and we are sad we can't keep him on now that we have moved.
Audrey is quite literally the best!! She took Reese on midday walks for the past eight months, and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. She was so loving toward Reese, incredibly communicative, reliable, and truly became the backbone of my household—even always making sure the Brita was filled up! Knowing Reese was in such caring hands every day gave me so much peace of mind while I was at work. I am so thankful for Audrey and everything she did for us. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pets like they're family!

It’s only been three weeks but oh my lord my little boy is head over heels for “Havi” At about 7:15 am he jumps out of his doggie bed and stretches preparing for her arrival. It’s so dog gone adorable. And the moment she comes through the door he dashes to meet her. I recommend Havi without reservation.

Julia has been fantastic with my dog Tucson. From the start Tucson connected with Julia and has very quickly grown to trust to her (which is not the case with everyone). I have also appreciated Julia's excellent communications and reliability. I can recommend Julia without hesitation.
