About: I grew up with cats and have grown to love dogs. I had my own cat for 13 years before he passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I love to care for my friends' pets! But with an open home, I'm ready to treat your best friend like my new best friend! I've taken care of cats and dogs extensively throughout my life including providing medication at regular intervals. I've also looked after snakes, turtles, and geckos, but I don't have any equipment to house them. But I love all animals whether fuzzy, furry, or scaly! I live in downtown DC in an apartment building close to several parks. I have a hybrid office job but live a short walk away from my office, so it's easy for me to swing back home whenever is necessary. I regularly catsit and dogsit for friends, but currently don't have any pets of my own. I respect animals autonomy, but always prefer to play, cuddle, or walk with the pets. They'll have full access to my apartment. They're welcome on furniture and if they prefer to hang out solo, that's okay, too. They'll still get the same love and attention, just from a few feet away.
“I have used Matthew a few times. Mostly for my cat. Once on a last minute request for a dog. He is always prompt and reliable and caring for my pets. Thanks Matt !”

About: I have had dogs my entire life, I take pride in caring for them to the highest standard. Currently, I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and a mix. I absolutely adore dogs and love to help where I can. I am currently in DC on summer break from teaching. I have recently moved here, therefore, have a very free schedule 6 days a week. I will follow all expectations outlined by owner. I am happy to give your dogs the attention they need in the very specific way they need it, as dogs are so particular!
About: I have cared for animals in many different capacities for many years. Whether it be my own dogs, friends, family, or neighbors pets I am well equipped for pet sitting and dog walking! I have also worked at part time at veterinary clinic for around 5 years as a receptionist, so I am also well versed in the veterinary world! I am currently working Monday through Friday but I am available in the morning, evening and anytime on weekends for any pet care you need! While I am unable to house your pets in my own home, I believe making sure your pet is comfortable at ease in their space is most important. For me this looks like following the instructions you set out clearly to make sure both you and your pet receives the quality service you both deserve!
About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and was actively involved in their daily care, from walks and playtime to feeding, grooming, and providing companionship. I also have experience caring for senior and ill dogs, including administering medications, monitoring health needs, and adapting routines to keep them comfortable and happy. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I spent time volunteering with dog adoption and rescue organizations, helping care for dogs of different ages, sizes, and temperaments. Being around dogs has always been one of my favorite things, and even now I'm usually the first person on the floor playing with friends' and family members' dogs. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. Whether your pup loves long walks, energetic play sessions, or simply relaxing with company, I'll make sure they receive attentive, reliable care and plenty of affection while you're away. I am most available on weekends, but I have a flexible schedule and can often accommodate weekday bookings as well. Spending time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, and I make sure every pet in my care receives plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I provide a safe, comfortable, and attentive environment for every pet in my care. I live in a spacious apartment with easy access to parks and outdoor spaces for walks, exercise, and playtime. I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding routines, feeding, medications, and any special needs. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to maintain their normal routine and make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away.
“Jacquelyn is a great walker for my dog! She is reliable and sends lots of pictures. My dog doesn’t always like to walk for very long and Jacquelyn pets her and plays with her instead!”

“Jondle was great with our older (and sometimes stubborn) French bulldog! She was very responsive throughout the entire process and made a point to come meet me and Eloise before she started caring for her.”

“Karima has been great with my senior dog weekly walks. She is extremely punctual and pays great attention to detail. She was accommodating with scheduling a meet and greet before booking and I’m so glad to have found her!”

About: I grew up in a two-dog household my whole life, so caring for dogs from a young age has always been a part of my daily routine. I have been away from home for nearly 5 years now, spending the last four at college, and now obtaining a masters degree here in D.C. I genuinely miss having dogs apart of my daily life, and always finding myself asking the recurring question of 'may I pet your dog'. Growing in a more rural area, I truly understand the dopamine that animals obtain from the ability to go outside or play. Living a more active lifestyle, from a young age I understood the necessity for dogs to have that too. I have spent numerous years, typically around the holiday season, petsitting and dog walking for friends and family. I am currently looking for part/full time positions, most likely within the food industry. Currently I am able to commit to pet care at any point throughout the morning, day, and evening, with the exception of nights. I have experience from raising a puppy to taking care of older dogs, and everything in between. I am comfortable with crating a dog, cleaning up after messes, walking, and playing.

Kayli was absolutely amazing! She took excellent care of my dog and made the entire experience stress-free. Her communication was outstanding from start to finish—she kept me updated, sent messages, and made sure I always knew how things were going. I felt completely comfortable knowing my dog was in such capable and caring hands. I would highly recommend Kayli to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and compassionate dog walker.

Meg is the best dog walker I’ve ever had. She provides excellent care, truly loves animals, is very professional, and writes very detailed notes. She anticipates my dogs needs and is always prepared to go above and beyond- like putting her cooling vest on, bringing her water bottle, and rewarding good behavior on walks. I am so sad to no longer have Meg as a walker as I am moving, she will be missed!!!

Lakshmi was amazing! She came to us and did well with Artemis. There were hiccups with our front desk the day of the walk and Lakshmi was the perfect balance between communicative and patient, and sent photos and updates about the walk! Very very grateful she was able to help us out!

Kathleen came to walk my puppy after he had been crated for several hours so I know he was probably super energetic. She took him on a long sniff walk and sent cute pics and a video. She was a pleasure to meet in person for our meet & greet and I just knew I could trust her!

Havi has been a god send! Although she’s only been walking Frankie for two weeks, he has totally fallen for her. He watches the door each morning and when the door opens, he flies to meet her for his walk. The sight of his little wagging butt is so adorable. Havi is definitely a winner!

Kyle was fantastic! We did a meet-and-greet beforehand, and Macho instantly took to him, which gave me a lot of confidence. Kyle is friendly, professional, and communicative, keeping me updated and making the whole experience stress-free. Most importantly, Macho absolutely loves his walks with Kyle and is always excited to see him. I highly recommend Kyle and would book with him again without hesitation. Five stars!
