About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. In my personal time I am spending time with my 2 little girls teaching them how to play sports, and of course how to be loving pet owners. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! I’m currently working part time and will be available to walk most pets during early mornings hours during the week and mid day and evenings during the weekend. I definitely would like to know your pets temperament, and what might scare them. I know they will feel most comfortable at home but if they are with me, I’d like to keep a calm, pet friendly setting for them to be comfortable in.

About: Hi, I'm Cymia! I’m a college sophomore and student-athlete in Redmond for the summer, and I’d love to care for your cats. I’ve owned and loved cats my entire life, so I know exactly how to handle everything from playful kittens to quiet older cats. I’m super reliable, flexible with my midday/evening schedule, and happy to strictly follow your feeding and litter routines. I’ll keep your space clean and send plenty of photo updates while you're away!

About: I just graduated from law school and am studying for the bar exam this summer! I definitely need to get out of the house for breaks throughout the day and would love to spend that time walking your dog:) I am available during the day most days, as I am currently studying. So all of my time outside of pet care is dedicated to that! I have an apartment, so for boarding dogs they should be ok with an elevator! I try to take dogs out every 2 hours depending on their needs. There are a lot of green spaces near my apartment, as well as a dog park 4!blocks away!
“Nicholas & Larissa gave us great peace of mind while taking care of our senior cat! They ensured she took her pill with her wet food and were very communicative. When our flight got delayed, they were able to come for an extra visit on last minute notice! Would definitely recommend them!”

I got detailed summaries of each visit and lots of pictures which always puts my mind at ease! I will definitely be booking them again in the future.”

About: My husband Galen and I have both had dogs since we were in our teens. We are both experienced in caring and loving for our pups. As a couple we have owned pets together for 13 years. We are a US Air Force Family and have been stationed in DC for the past six years. We love how the community is a dog centric town!! Galen is full remote, meaning your pup will never be alone. We currently have a bulldog named Burrito. Our miniature american eskimo named Mojo unfortunately crossed the rainbow bridge in December 2024. I love our dogs so much I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your BFF to a stranger. I promise I’ll provide your pet the love and attention they want or need as if they were my own. My husband is full remote and I unfortunately am back in the office full time. Galen will be home with the pups all day. I do an early morning walk and an after work walk while he does multiple midday walks. In the evenings we both are able to take the pups on long walks. We monitor any bones given and are in close proximity during feeding time. We also continuously reinforce good behaviors by pets, praise, and treats if you allow. We only accept one dog at a time. Pups are allowed on the couch. Bundy Dog Park is across the street, if you allow for additional exercise. Your dog will receive lots of pets, praise and love while in our home!
“Dzov and Carl LOVED their day with Brian and Izzy. They had so much fun, neither of them woke me up the next morning... they were so pooped from having a blast with Jax and Ziggy. We got lots of fun pics and videos throughout the day. Carl and Dzov can’t wait to see their friends again!!”

About: Here is a promotion link: https://www.rover.com/sit/elizag48297 I adopted a dog during the pandemic and share a cat with my husband. I'm looking forward to meeting your pets and giving you some peace of mind while you're at work or on vacation. I work remotely, so I am available for housesitting, walks, and drop-ins as needed. Happy to make my schedule fit with yours! I work remotely and am available to house sit and do walks/drop ins if you live in Shaw. I am excited to talk and learn more about your animals! Please see the pet care experience section. The too long didn't read version: safety first. I love animals and treat them like my own family.

About: As a dog owner myself, I know pets are family. I’ve cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities, and I’m confident reading their body language so they feel safe, understood, and comfortable. I’ll always treat your dog with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own. 🐾 I’m currently working part-time on Monday’s, Tuesday’s, and Wednesday’s, but I have plenty of availability outside of those times. I’m available most Thursdays, Fridays, weekends, and can be flexible for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment with no other animals, so your pet will have a calm and comfortable environment. I always prioritize safety, follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. About: My past work as a veterinary technician has provided me with years of experience caring for diverse breeds, specializing in coordinating complex feeding schedules and managing senior pets with health needs. I prioritize a safe and calm environment for every animal. I have been retired for two years, which makes me available all hours of the day. I am flexible with providing care on weekends as well as weekdays. If it is your wish that I do so, I am available to stay with your pet in your home if needed. Your pet will receive the same care I would provide to my own
About: Hello! I love spending time around dogs. I have a 9 year old golden retriever named who is the light of my life. I have helped take care of my friends dogs and senior dogs as well. When it comes to dog walking, I also love to make sure dogs are not only getting their exercise in, but experiencing new surroundings on their walk. I currently WFH so I am able to tailor my schedule to when your pets need my services! However, early mornings, evenings and lunch time are usually the most open times for me. While Im not offering services for room and board, I do live in a pet friendly apartment with pet friendly amenities, if there is a need to bring your pet home with me.
“Cymia has been amazing so far. She has walked my 4 months puppy twice so far, and has carefully followed all my instructions (I’m strict as I am training him). I plan to keep her as my dog walker, and highly recommend her. Great personality as well!”

About: Hi! My name is Riley, and I would love to help care for your dog. I have two goldendoodles of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone who is trustworthy, patient, and loving with your pets. I have experience walking, feeding, playing with, and caring for dogs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just some extra attention, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I know every dog has their own personality and routine, so I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you provide. I can’t wait to meet your pup! I am currently a graduate student at George Washington University. I have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I am available for dog walks most other days and times. I’m happy to be flexible and work with your dog’s routine whenever possible! I care for my own two goldendoodles at home, so I have daily experience with feeding, walking, playtime, basic grooming, and giving dogs lots of love and attention. I also understand how important it is to keep dogs on their usual routine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. When caring for a client’s pup, I will always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including walk preferences, feeding schedules, leash rules, and any special care needs. I’ll treat every dog with patience, kindness, and the same level of care I give my own pups.

About: Hi! I’m Juliana, a lifelong dog lover and proud mom to Panela, a sweet Yorkie mix, and Milo, my spirited little Chihuahua. Having two very different personalities at home has taught me how to read each dog’s individual needs, energy level, and quirks, whether that’s a high-energy walker who needs to burn off steam or a smaller, more anxious pup who just wants gentle reassurance. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight boarding right here in the DC area. Because I get around mostly on foot and by bike, I know my neighborhood inside and out, including the best walking routes, quiet streets, and nearby parks, which means your dog gets a real outing, not just a quick lap around the block. During boarding stays, your pup will have a calm, attentive home environment and become part of the routine Panela and Milo already know and love. I send photo and video updates during every visit so you always know your dog is safe, happy, and having a good time. I’d love to set up a meet-and-greet so we can make sure it’s a great match before booking! “I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my day rather than being squeezed in around a 9-to-5. For walks and drop-in visits, I’m able to check in for feeding times, potty breaks, and play sessions throughout the day, with flexibility for visits if your schedule needs it. For boarding stays, your dog becomes part of my daily routine, joining me for walks, meals, and downtime at home with Panela and Milo, so they get consistent care and company around the clock rather than being left alone for long stretches. My two dogs, Panela (a Yorkie mix) and Milo (a Chihuahua), are both friendly and well socialized, so your dog will have some good company during their stay. My home is set up to be safe and comfortable for small to medium breeds, with secure spaces for rest and play. I keep a close eye on new dogs at first to make sure everyone settles in well together, and I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine for feeding, walks, and bedtime.
About: I've volunteered at shelters every summer. I have also fostered pets and helped them overcome shyness and anxiety. Your pet will feel right at home with me. I can take your dog on walks or runs everyday or play with your cat indoors. I will always be available to talk or facetime if you miss your pet. I will be home most of the day. I used to do rover a couple years ago and finally have time to start again. I can't wait to meet all your amazing pet! I go into the office 3 days a week and am home the rest of the time. I am available for drop in visits and walks as well as boarding. I live close to a dog park and do not have any other pets. So, your pet will get all of the attention from me

“2nd time booking with Rodrigo for Watson and again it was a seamless experience. Rodrigo sent regular updates and clearly took great care of Watson. Thanks again Rodrigo and Luna!”

“Vania and her family are wonderful pet sitters and pet friends. Gaby loves hanging out with everyone and Vania is very responsive and cares a lot about her duties as a caregiver.”

“With a senior dog, we do get nervous about leaving mango new places. I would say within five minutes of the meet and greet it was clear that Shanilka and her husband would be taking great care of him. They asked all the right questions and during our stay sent regular updates to make sure we knew he was in good hands. Would definitely use again!”

“Joe was such a great host for Barnaby while I was on work travel. He took Barnes on walks/runs each day, had him socialize with other dogs, and always sent me an update with pictures. Joe was very communicative, quick to respond, and flexible with pick-up / drop off. Truly the best dog watcher I've used in the city, and that's including the big chains. I'll definitely be using him again”

“Matt and Kelly (and their sweet daughter!) took great care of Robbin while I was away! They took her on plenty of walks and runs and I received pictures while I was away which was very much appreciated.”
“Staying with Elizabeth was a wonderful experience for us and our pups. She is responsive, friendly, and chill—what our pups needed. A great experience overall.”

“Jeremy did a phenomenal job taking care of my nearly 19 year old dog Carrie while I was gone for an 11 day trip. Going into my first experience using rover, I knew I would have to find someone I truly trust with my senior dog so I could fully enjoy myself on my vacation. Jeremy responded quickly when I reached out, and when I found out he had a senior dog himself, I knew he would be a great fit. After chatting with him over a video call, I booked the pet sitting and eventually dropped her off the night before my trip! After getting home, Jeremy sent me a photo of Carrie all settled in and it immediately relieved any worry I had about her. I knew she was in good hands. From there on, Jeremy sent me plenty of updates about Carrie during my vacation and at some points it seemed like she was having more fun than I was! Long walks, close attention, and lots of love. Knowing Carrie was being so well taken care of made my vacation a million times better. I can’t thank Jeremy enough for treating her so well, and I’m positive that you will have the same experience if you book him too! 🙏🏻”

“Katie was very accommodating. Since this was my first time using the service, I did not know what to expect. She kept in touch throughout my fur babies stay and sent pictures. She asked questions and gave me an opportunity to ask questions as well.”

“Walter came home very happy after several nights and was very well cared for — I could tell by his temperament when I picked him up, and how relaxed he was coming home. He is an older dog who gets anxious out of his routine, and Mike treated him very well.”

“Charnetta was very helpful and kind to us. We made some last minute adjustment and she accommodated us readily. Her space was great for our dog. She also kept us updated during our pup's stay with them. Great sitter overall!”

“Back to back stays either Callen & was even better than the 1st. Once again, Callen went over & beyond to make sure Diamond’s stay was comfortable. She will be 1st choice for future boardings.”

“Melanie is so great with Barton! She keeps him on his normal routine and makes sure he feels loved. I love that I can drop Barton off with her and don’t have to worry about whether he’s going to be taken care of. 5 stars!”
