About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 8 years old. I’ve spent most of my life surrounded by cats whether they were mine, my grandparents, or friends. I started taking care of my own cats when I was 8. They had health issues so I’m experienced in giving oral medications. When I was 10 I saved 2 brothers who I’ve taken care of since. About: I have owned dogs as well as baby sat friends and family’s dog. What sets me apart from other sitters is I have spent numerous hours working in animal shelters and other pet rescue places. Therefore, I have worked with pets of all sizes, ages, temperaments, and personalities. Due to this experience, I have can adapt and understand your animal’s needs very quickly. About: My husband Galen and I have both had dogs since we were in our teens. We are both experienced in caring and loving for our pups. As a couple we have owned pets together for 13 years. We are a US Air Force Family and have been stationed in DC for the past six years. We love how the community is a dog centric town!! Galen is full remote, meaning your pup will never be alone. We currently have a bulldog named Burrito. Our miniature american eskimo named Mojo unfortunately crossed the rainbow bridge in December 2024. I love our dogs so much I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your BFF to a stranger. I promise I’ll provide your pet the love and attention they want or need as if they were my own. My husband is full remote and I unfortunately am back in the office full time. Galen will be home with the pups all day. I do an early morning walk and an after work walk while he does multiple midday walks. In the evenings we both are able to take the pups on long walks. We monitor any bones given and are in close proximity during feeding time. We also continuously reinforce good behaviors by pets, praise, and treats if you allow. We only accept one dog at a time. Pups are allowed on the couch. Bundy Dog Park is across the street, if you allow for additional exercise. Your dog will receive lots of pets, praise and love while in our home!

About: I grew up with cats and have grown to love dogs. I had my own cat for 13 years before he passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I love to care for my friends' pets! But with an open home, I'm ready to treat your best friend like my new best friend! I've taken care of cats and dogs extensively throughout my life including providing medication at regular intervals. I've also looked after snakes, turtles, and geckos, but I don't have any equipment to house them. But I love all animals whether fuzzy, furry, or scaly! I live in downtown DC in an apartment building close to several parks. I have a hybrid office job but live a short walk away from my office, so it's easy for me to swing back home whenever is necessary. About: We’ve both had dogs in our family since we were young and we have our very own, paçoca! She’s a nova scotia duck toller. Her name means little peanut in portuguese and nothing describes her better than that. we love nothing more than to be around dogs. We would love to care for yours! About: I recently spent a month cat sitting. I loved hosting him. He warmed up to me quickly. I gave him ample pets throughout the day. I work from home most days so I am able to offer plenty of attention. I should be able to accommodate their feeding schedule! Happy to discuss scheduling as well as your needs and preferences! About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty.
