About: Hi! I'm Katia. I'm a dog person- I grew up with them and love the energy and affection they bring into my life. I know they're family, not just pets. I frequently dogsit for friends, have fostered dogs, and spent the past two years volunteering at a shelter for special needs animals. (I also love The Dog Whisperer and Westminster dog show!) I work from home so your dog will have me there most of the time for playing, stimulation and treats. I live near several green areas, dog parks and running tracks so your loved one will get lots of outdoor time and exercise, and a quiet sunny place to relax by the windows after. I understand that routine is very important for dogs and I'll provide that, whether it's making food from scratch, getting up at a certain time for walks, or crate training. I always like to set up a meet-and-greet before a booking, so please get in touch. I work from home, so your dog will have me there most of the day. I only take one booking at a time and don't have a furbaby of my own yet, so your dog or pack will have my undivided attention all day. I like to do a minimum 3 walks per day, at least 20 minutes each, where your dog has my full attention. I'm quite active and go for regular walks and runs. Weekends are for longer walks, outdoor coffees and sniffs around the neighborhood and on trails. Photos and updates sent daily. I’ll follow your regular diet, schedule and training. I’m able to administer medicine, crate and continue training. Clean, doggy-safe apartment (no plants hazardous to dogs within eating distance, doggy gate on the stairs, no other animals in the home.)

About: We've had our pup since 3 months old so I have experience with puppies and adult dogs. I jog with our dog so if your pup is energetic that's my jam. My kids are 9 and 12 and would love nothing more than to snuggle your pup (our dog is not much for snuggling) and I stay home so have plenty of time to care for your fluffy companion. Before we got our dog we dog sat for every friend in town - my kids spent a few years asking for a dog :) I stayed home with my kids but now they're 9 and 12 so I have plenty of time during the day. My schedule is 100% flexible weekdays 8AM - 4PM and my kids are begging for a second dog so your pup will be well loved. Our dog (a 45lb mutt) doesn't go upstairs or in our basement apartment so everyone has plenty of room to spread out. We have a fenced in back yard and plenty of space in the house (three floors and our pup doesn't go in the basement apartment or on the second floor).
