Hi! I’m Sunny, a full-time pet sitter based in Arlington, VA. 🐾 Caring for pets isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s my full-time career. I truly love spending time with animals and treat every dog and cat with patience, kindness, and individual attention. I have experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies to calm senior dogs. I also have experience reinforcing basic manners and following each pet’s unique routine. Because pet care is my full-time job, your pet will never simply be “fit into my schedule.” Their comfort, safety, and happiness are my priority every day. 🏡 BOARDING & DAILY CARE My goal is to provide a calm, comfortable, home-style environment where your pet can feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. Depending on your dog’s normal routine and individual needs, care may include: • Regular walks and potty breaks throughout the day • Daily photo and video updates • Maintaining your dog’s normal feeding schedule • Fresh water throughout the day • Playtime and enrichment based on energy level • Plenty of quiet time and rest • Medication or special-care instructions when needed • Individual attention, affection, and companionship I believe every dog has different needs, so exercise and daily activities are adjusted based on age, energy level, physical condition, personality, and weather. 🐕 LARGER DOGS I happily welcome dogs of all sizes! For dogs over 40 lbs, rates may vary depending on size, energy level, leash manners, temperament, and individual care needs. Before confirming a booking, I may ask a few quick questions about your dog’s leash behavior, interactions with smaller dogs, and normal daily routine. This simply helps me understand your dog better and make sure I can provide a safe, comfortable stay for everyone. Please message me before booking so we can discuss your dog’s needs and confirm the appropriate rate. 🐾 🐶 BEFORE BOARDING To help me provide the safest and most comfortable care possible, please let me know in advance about any important behavioral, medical, dietary, or special-care needs. Dogs should be up to date on their core vaccinations, including rabies. Please also let me know if your dog is not spayed or neutered. I’m always happy to learn about your pet’s personality, favorite activities, routines, and anything that helps them feel more at home. ❤️ MY GOAL I believe every pet deserves individualized care, plenty of affection, and a calm, loving environment while their family is away. My goal is simple: I want every pet staying with me to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and at home while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! 🐾

Sunny was absolutely wonderful with Gracie! I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was Gracie’s first sitter ever and Sunny was so patient with and kind to her. She sent pictures and updates and even a video of Gracie playing. I couldn’t be more pleased and would definitely book with her again if needed when visiting family in Arlington. Sunny was so communicative and sending lots of updates. The dogs had the best time with her and felt so loved! We can’t thank sunny enough for watching them while we were visiting DC
Sunny was incredible! She was available last minute during a bank holiday weekend and she was extremely flexible to accommodate us. She took Primrose for long walks and play sessions, sent so many pictures and gave us updates all the time! Our girl was so happy with her. We will definitely book Sunny again!
Sunny did a great job watching Lenny. Lenny had a sore on his back paw when he stayed with Sunny and she was very diligent about making sure it was clean and medicated. She was also very communicative and responsive.

Schedule
Pet care is my full-time job, so your pet will receive my full attention throughout the day. I provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding on schedule, and plenty of companionship. I always follow each owner’s instructions carefully and provide daily photo and video updates so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.

I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment in Arlington with easy access to several parks and walking trails. Pets are never left unattended for long periods, and I always create a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions (when applicable), and each pet’s daily routine. I only accept a limited number of pets at one time so every pet receives the attention and care they deserve.
A typical day
Every day is tailored to your pet’s needs and personality. We start with potty breaks and walks, followed by meals, playtime, rest, and enrichment activities. Depending on your dog’s energy level, we’ll enjoy neighborhood walks, visits to nearby parks, sniff walks, games, and lots of one-on-one attention. Throughout the stay, I’ll send daily photos and videos so you can always see how your pet is doing.
