Hi! I’m Sunny, a full-time pet sitter based in Arlington, VA. Caring for pets isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s my full-time career. I truly love spending time with animals and treat every dog and cat with the same patience, kindness, and attention I would give my own. I have experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, from energetic puppies to calm senior dogs. I also have experience reinforcing basic manners and following each pet’s unique routine. Because pet care is my full-time job, your pet will never be “fit into my schedule.” Their comfort, safety, and happiness are my priority every day. I believe every pet deserves individualized care, plenty of affection, and a calm, loving environment while their family is away. My goal is simple: I want every pet to feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. I welcome dogs of all sizes. The perfect sitter! Gibson truly had a great time with Sunny. We received many daily photos and videos, as well as text updates throughout the day plus a detailed nightly recap of Gibson’s day. He’s an anxious dog but looked happy and relaxed in every pic, even within minutes of drop off. It was hot out, so Sunny took Gibson on daily rides to the dog park and waterfront in her dog wagon and made sure he was comfortable with a layer of ice underneath his mat. He received daily brushings, toothbrushing, paw washes, and tear-stain removal. He came home looking better than when we left! We call it his spa weekend. This was truly like a vacation for our little dog!
Sunny is the BEST sitter I have used on Rover! She is so attentive to my dog, sends frequent updates like pictures and videos, and truly makes her a priority during her stay. I frequently get updates of all the walks she goes on — my dog is tired and happy when she comes back to see me. Would absolutely recommend Sunny to anyone who is looking for quality in care at a reasonable price!

Sunny has been absolutely wonderful with my dog, Miley. She’s incredibly dependable, communicates regularly with updates and photos, and always keeps Miley active, engaged, and happy. This was my first time using Rover, and I was honestly a little nervous. My wife and I had to travel, and we needed someone to take care of our two dogs. Schedule
Pet care is my full-time job, so your pet will receive my full attention throughout the day. I provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding on schedule, and plenty of companionship. I always follow each owner’s instructions carefully and provide daily photo and video updates so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.

I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment in Arlington with easy access to several parks and walking trails. Pets are never left unattended for long periods, and I always create a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions (when applicable), and each pet’s daily routine. I only accept a limited number of pets at one time so every pet receives the attention and care they deserve.
A typical day
Every day is tailored to your pet’s needs and personality. We start with potty breaks and walks, followed by meals, playtime, rest, and enrichment activities. Depending on your dog’s energy level, we’ll enjoy neighborhood walks, visits to nearby parks, sniff walks, games, and lots of one-on-one attention. Throughout the stay, I’ll send daily photos and videos so you can always see how your pet is doing.
