Pet care is a natural and consistent part of our daily routine. Since we have flexible work from home schedules, we have plenty of time to prioritize walks, playtime, and feeding. Our own dog helps keeps us on a regular schedule, so we're already used to planning our days around pet needs. Whether it’s a morning walk, midday play session, or evening wind-down, we work your pets seamlessly into our schedule. With a bit of advance notice, we are able to adjust my schedule to accommodate different routines.

Safety, trust & environment
Whether we're caring for pets in our home or yours, our top priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. We follow your routines as closely as possible, from feeding schedules and walking routes to preferred toys and training cues. We make sure your dog (or cat!) gets plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and downtime as needed. If we’re hosting in our own home, your pet will have a cozy, quiet environment with plenty of room to relax and play, and will be treated just like part of the family, including supervised outdoor time, snuggles on the couch, and lots of love. We try to send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you're away. Every pet is unique, and we take the time to get to know their needs and personality so we can provide the best possible care.

Information Anne & Bryan P. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, we like to know as much as possible to make sure we can give them the best experience and keep them feeling comfortable and safe. It’s helpful for us to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, potty breaks, and walk preferences, as well as any health issues, medications, or allergies. We also like to understand their temperament: are they shy or super social? Do they get along with other dogs or prefer solo time? Knowing what commands they respond to, any training you’re working on, and whether they have any triggers (like loud noises, bikes, or certain animals) is also really helpful. And of course, we want to know their favorite toys, treats, and activities so we can make their time with us as fun and familiar as possible!
A typical day
We love getting outside with dogs for long walks around the neighborhood or exploring nearby trails in Rock Creek Park, it’s a great way for them (and us!) to get fresh air and exercise. We’re always up for a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or just some silly playtime in the yard or living room. We really enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality, so whether your dog is high-energy and loves to run or prefers sniffy strolls and cuddles, we’ll tailor our time together to make sure they’re happy, active, and well-loved.

Pet care experience
Looking for folks who can give your dog love and affection? We're excited to welcome them into our home, or pop over to yours, where they can play, relax, and just be a dog in a chill, comfortable environment. We make sure every pup gets outside time throughout the day, whether that's a walk, potty break, or time to play in the yard. We also have our own fluffy pup, so yours will have a companion to play or relax with :) We offer both doggy daycare and drop-in visits, and we tailor each visit or daycare to how you and your dog like to do things - play, lounging, feeding or medication schedules, whatever keeps them happy and healthy. We're lifelong dog people with flexible work-from-home schedules, so we're genuinely present throughout the day, not just popping between meetings.
