About: I’ve always had cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with two dogs and now have two cats in the city! Can’t wait to meet your pet! Currently a student so I have a flexible schedule, so weekday drop ins and walks should be easy to schedule! Mondays and Tuesdays are my busiest days. I have two friendly cats who have regularly interacted with other cats. I would love to take dogs for long walks to help tire them out and keep them entertained!

About: As an agroecologist, caring for animals is a big part of both my personal and professional life. I’ve worked around livestock, barn cats, wildlife, and pets, which has made me attentive to animal behavior, body language, and individual personalities. I also have a senior cat of my own, so I understand the patience and gentleness older pets can require. I love dogs and am fascinated by their social intelligence, and I’m happy to adapt my care to each pet, whether they need energetic play, a long walk, quiet companionship, or a slower pace. My work schedule is fairly laissez-faire and flexible, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I’m also on an active fitness and weight-loss journey, so I’m always looking for an excuse to get moving! Whether your pup needs a long walk, an energetic play session, or your cat needs some quality company and attention, I’m happy to work their routine into mine. I live in an apartment with my own beloved cat, who is fairly shy and prefers having his home to himself, so I do not offer boarding in my home. However, I’m very happy to provide house sitting and care for pets in the environment where they already feel safest and most comfortable. I’m respectful of each home and attentive to each pet’s established routines, boundaries, feeding schedules, and individual needs.

I’m a hybrid worker with a flexible schedule. I’m centrally located in NW DC and readily available to drop in and out to fit your pets needs. With notice, I can make things work ! I’m an animal lover who will accommodate to your animals unique needs. I create a safe, friendly environment for all pets. Additionally, I have a fenced area in my apartment.

About: I can’t remember a time in my life where I didn’t have a pet! Since I was 12, my family has had dogs. I have experience house-sitting and watching pets for family and friends growing up in the DMV. While I am a lover of all types of pups, I have specific expertise in short-snout (brachycephalic) dogs and the special attention/care they need due to this condition. Mainly, I am available on weekends to watch your pets for you if you need to go out of town! I am also available for early morning (before 8am) and evening shifts (post 6pm) Tuesdays-Thursdays. If you need daytime care during the week, I work from home Mondays and Fridays and could provide walks/drop-ins during the lunch hours as well as during the early morning and the evening. When dog-sitting, your pet’s needs are my top priority. As someone who regularly interacts with both brachycephalic and a senior dogs through my own family, I understand that each pet is unique. Have two dogs that eat completely different food and need to be in separate rooms during mealtime? I’ve got you! Need medications given to your pet at the same time each day? It will happen under my care! I am also happy to take your pet on long walks to exercise their bodies and minds or just around the block if that’s what’s best for them! Again, I will cater my care specifically to your pet.

About: I am a graduate student in biology, and I really love animals! I grew up around animals and adopted my own little rescue six years ago. My dog is a tiny eight pounds. We love to spend time walking and at DC's great dog parks in addition to playing indoors and at home. In addition to my own dog, I love being around other people's animals, whether they are high energy, low energy, or somewhere in between. It would be a privilege to be entrusted to take care of your pet, whether it be through walking, boarding, or sitting. Rest assured that I will treat your pet as I do my own!! Pet care is a daily priority for me as someone with my own dog! On weekends, weather permitting, my dog and I try to get outdoors for a hike (or at least the dog park!). As someone who’s been on both sides of Rover, I understand the importance of trust when your pet is in the care of someone else! I live in a doorman apartment and have baby gates at home. When pet sitting at your home, I’m flexible to your and your pet’s needs.

About: I genuinely enjoy spending my time with animals and taking care of them. I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats including my own since I was in middle school so for over 10 years now. So naturally I’m familiar with daily walks and feeding schedules and making sure that the pets get the best possible care that they need. About: We’ve both had dogs in our family since we were young and we have our very own, paçoca! She’s a nova scotia duck toller. Her name means little peanut in portuguese and nothing describes her better than that. we love nothing more than to be around dogs. We would love to care for yours! We both work a hybrid schedule and at least one of us is always available to care for, play, and walk pets as many times as needed. We can provide your dog with the exercise they may need, whether it is a morning run, long walk in the afternoon, or dog park visit. We live in a pet-friendly two bedroom apartment with lots of light and space. Dogs we’ve cared for prior really enjoyed laying on the couch/their beds and getting some sun. We live very close to Logan Circle, which is a great, pleasant and green space in downtown DC for dogs to walk and play with other dogs. We love incorporating the pets’ routines into our own and can adapt as needed. Taking them on walks during the day is a great opportunity to take work breaks, get some fresh air, and enjoy the day. Our apartment is spacious and gets lots of sunlight, which the dogs love! It’s also close to lots of nice green areas such as Logan Circle or the S street dog park!
