About: I've taken care of elderly dogs and cats that need daily medications and frequent potty breaks, along with puppies and kittens with boundless energy requiring multiple walks a day or a lot of play time! I have specifically worked with blind dogs and dogs and cats requiring specialized diets for kidney disease. Dogs and cats are amazing companions and deserve nothing but the best care. I have availability all day on Saturdays, Sundays, and Thursdays. I’m also free before 1 PM on Wednesdays. I’m less flexible on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, but feel free to ask for availability on these days as well! As someone with many years of pet sitting experience, I’m very attuned to all types of fur baby personalities. Whether your pet is shy or outgoing, I will read their social cues and adjust my care as necessary.

About: I grew up around large dogs and I am comfortable and enjoy around all kinds of dogs, I love to go on runs and walks of all lengths! I am currently job searching and hoping to fill some free time with dog walking. My availability is very flexible especially during the typical work week. Has past experience walking large and jumpy dogs, and lives in very walkable area. Also comfortable playing with dogs to get some extra energy out!

About: As an agroecologist, caring for animals is a big part of both my personal and professional life. I’ve worked around livestock, barn cats, wildlife, and pets, which has made me attentive to animal behavior, body language, and individual personalities. I also have a senior cat of my own, so I understand the patience and gentleness older pets can require. I love dogs and am fascinated by their social intelligence, and I’m happy to adapt my care to each pet, whether they need energetic play, a long walk, quiet companionship, or a slower pace. My work schedule is fairly laissez-faire and flexible, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I’m also on an active fitness and weight-loss journey, so I’m always looking for an excuse to get moving! Whether your pup needs a long walk, an energetic play session, or your cat needs some quality company and attention, I’m happy to work their routine into mine. I live in an apartment with my own beloved cat, who is fairly shy and prefers having his home to himself, so I do not offer boarding in my home. However, I’m very happy to provide house sitting and care for pets in the environment where they already feel safest and most comfortable. I’m respectful of each home and attentive to each pet’s established routines, boundaries, feeding schedules, and individual needs.

I work from home, so I’m available to care for your pet in the mornings, around lunchtime, and the evenings. I don’t travel often, so I am a reliable source for routine care, as well. I live in an apartment with my boyfriend and no other pets, so your furry friend will feel secure and safe. About: We’ve both had dogs in our family since we were young and we have our very own, paçoca! She’s a nova scotia duck toller. Her name means little peanut in portuguese and nothing describes her better than that. we love nothing more than to be around dogs. We would love to care for yours! We both work a hybrid schedule and at least one of us is always available to care for, play, and walk pets as many times as needed. We can provide your dog with the exercise they may need, whether it is a morning run, long walk in the afternoon, or dog park visit. We live in a pet-friendly two bedroom apartment with lots of light and space. Dogs we’ve cared for prior really enjoyed laying on the couch/their beds and getting some sun. We live very close to Logan Circle, which is a great, pleasant and green space in downtown DC for dogs to walk and play with other dogs. We love incorporating the pets’ routines into our own and can adapt as needed. Taking them on walks during the day is a great opportunity to take work breaks, get some fresh air, and enjoy the day. Our apartment is spacious and gets lots of sunlight, which the dogs love! It’s also close to lots of nice green areas such as Logan Circle or the S street dog park!

About: I am a huge animal lover and have grown up around dogs my entire life. From a very young age, my family has constantly owned dogs, giving me plenty of years of experience taking care of a wide ranging variety of dog breeds. I am responsible, trustworthy, and considerate. I currently have a Labrador Retriever named Reggie and will make sure that I go out of my way to treat your dog just as great as I treat him, regardless of the service I am providing. About: I recently spent a month cat sitting. I loved hosting him. He warmed up to me quickly. I gave him ample pets throughout the day. I work from home most days so I am able to offer plenty of attention. I should be able to accommodate their feeding schedule! Happy to discuss scheduling as well as your needs and preferences! I am able to offer drop ins visits during the day within Dupont Circle, otherwise before or after work would be more realistic. I live in a small, open space, great for exploring and playing. I am quick to clean the litter box. Happy to send photos regularly! I am also able to sit rabbits!
