About: Hi, I'm Cymia! I’m a college sophomore and student-athlete free for the rest of July and first week of august to care for your pet! I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, and I started pet sitting back in middle school. When I’m not training, I love being out in nature, listening to music, and hanging out with animals. Because of my athletic background, I have plenty of energy for long, active walks, but I'm just as happy cozying up with a cat. I’m reliable, active, and available for flexible summer scheduling. I can't wait to treat your furry family members like my own I have plenty of time to care for your pets! As my schedule has no current commitments to anything else I am looking to get to know some new furry friends For my own pets, I keep a solid routine with regular meals, plenty of exercise, and a safe environment. About: I work from home and sometimes find myself missing outdoor activities around the city. I have been walking for Wag the past 6 month and I love it. Actually a pet parent recommended me to get on Rover to build more relationships in the area. Since I work from home I have a lot of free time on my hand, so I usually schedule dog walks during the day and evenings. I care for them like if they was my own. I believe in going outside (dog park, fields, etc.) in a space where they can roam free. Just like me I know dogs don’t want to be stuck in the house. I am very good in keeping you updated and sending pictures and videos.

About: I’ve taken care of my friends’ dogs throughout my adult life and love doing it. I can manage big and small dogs and do well with a schedule. Happy to answer any questions. I’m happy to take care of pets Saturday-Wednesday. I work from home M-W and have a flexible enough schedule that I can go on walks/take care of your pets as needed. It’s important for me to understand how pet owners take care of their own pets and stick to their respective routine of pet care so that the pet feels most comfortable. I like to stick to their regular schedules of walks, meals, etc. I also love going on walks so happy to do that whenever!

About: We’ve both had dogs in our family since we were young and we have our very own, paçoca! She’s a nova scotia duck toller. Her name means little peanut in portuguese and nothing describes her better than that. we love nothing more than to be around dogs. We would love to care for yours! We both work a hybrid schedule and at least one of us is always available to care for, play, and walk pets as many times as needed. We can provide your dog with the exercise they may need, whether it is a morning run, long walk in the afternoon, or dog park visit. We live in a pet-friendly two bedroom apartment with lots of light and space. Dogs we’ve cared for prior really enjoyed laying on the couch/their beds and getting some sun. We live very close to Logan Circle, which is a great, pleasant and green space in downtown DC for dogs to walk and play with other dogs. We love incorporating the pets’ routines into our own and can adapt as needed. Taking them on walks during the day is a great opportunity to take work breaks, get some fresh air, and enjoy the day. Our apartment is spacious and gets lots of sunlight, which the dogs love! It’s also close to lots of nice green areas such as Logan Circle or the S street dog park!

She did us a huge solid and agreed to start walking him only a few days after we had adopted him and didn’t know much about him. And, she is very mindful of Otis’ needs and adjusts accordingly, asking questions and giving updates as needed. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up with an Irish Setter, so taking care of dogs has always been a part of my life. Feeding him, bathing, walks, and trips to the dog park were all part of my routine growing up. I’ve also volunteered at the Montgomery County Adoption Center, where I helped care for cats, dogs, and small pets, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of animals and personalities. I’ve also dog-sat for my aunt’s dog, Milo, multiple times. I’m very attentive, and genuinely enjoy making sure loved ones feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I take most of my classes from home during the week, so I’m home a lot and have plenty of time to spend with your pet. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, whether that’s playtime, walks, feeding, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I do work on the weekends mainly, so I will make sure to attend to your baby before and after I come back from work if applicable. I love being around animals and making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away. For dog sitting and drop-ins, I try to keep things as close to your dog’s normal routine as possible. That means feeding on schedule, potty breaks or walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I always make sure food and water are good, clean up their paws and bum when coming back inside, and check that they’re safe and comfy before I leave. Im great with watching their body language, if they don’t want pets, do or don’t want to go outside, or don’t want to play, ill always listen. I also love sending pictures, videos, or even FaceTiming while you’re away so you can see how we’re doing and feel at ease.
