“Allison continues to deliver top-quality care and companionship to our puppy. She has taken the time to understand his particular needs and interests and makes sure that he always has an enriching and enjoyable experience. Thank you, Allison!”

“Eric is absolutely amazing. My dog is a rescue, and he’s very strong, but Eric is patient, loving, and understanding with him. We truly could not have asked for a better dog walker, and we’re lucky to have Eric.”

About: I’ve been a dog lover my whole life and finally adopted my first two years ago! Well before my partner and I adopted our rescue, I was helping out family and friends as a sitter and walker. Whenever I was at a house with a dog, I always wound up being the designated fetch partner. I’m a dedicated caretaker who loves taking my pup around the block, to the park and on adventures. I raised and trained my dog from a puppy and have experience watching dogs ages 1-18! As a dog parent myself, I know how important communication, transparency and, of course, getting pictures of your pup is when you’re away from them. I’m excited to meet, walk and play with more dogs around the district! I work five days a week (M-F) from home, but my schedule is flexible and allows for me to take breaks as needed to tend to my own dog and pop out to care for others whenever necessary. Afternoons are ideal, but I can be available in evenings, mornings and overnight with advanced notice. My dog roams free at home, but she started out crate trained and graduated from there. I’m comfortable caring for a dog/dogs who roam free or are crated and have no issue retrieving them from there and returning them to their space as needed.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life (Golden Retriever, Scottish Terrier, Wheaton Terrier), & taking care of them since I was 11. I have experience house sitting as many as three dogs for the past 10+ years. I have experience walking multiple dogs at once (I have 3 right now), uneven ones who aren't leash trained (very strong). I also have experience with giving dogs medications (epilepsy, anxiety, arthritis, etc.) I love that dog walking not only gives me a chance to be outside with dogs, but it also is the one of the best parts of a dog’s day. I love that I can be able to bring that joy. My schedule is very flexible, I WFH around my own schedule. I am available mornings, mid day, and evenings. I am able for weekday and weekend sittings. I have been able to walk 3 dogs at once (who are not leash trained/very aggressive) and I’m able to keep them safe and other dogs around them safe. I know how to notice if a dog is in distress at a dog park. I will keep your dog on a leash at all times when leaving the house (except advised at a dog park). And if I sit, I will make sure they are safe at home, respect your house rules, and if there is no backyard, I will keep them on a leash at all times when leaving the house.
“Jacquelyn has stole my little boy’s heart in a matter of two weeks! He adores her. She’s taking him on a new greener walking path which he loves. I am extremely pleased with her services. Way to go Rover! Your team is top notch.”

About: We’ve both had dogs in our family since we were young and we have our very own, paçoca! She’s a nova scotia duck toller. Her name means little peanut in portuguese and nothing describes her better than that. we love nothing more than to be around dogs. We would love to care for yours! We both work a hybrid schedule and at least one of us is always available to care for, play, and walk pets as many times as needed. We can provide your dog with the exercise they may need, whether it is a morning run, long walk in the afternoon, or dog park visit. We live in a pet-friendly two bedroom apartment with lots of light and space. Dogs we’ve cared for prior really enjoyed laying on the couch/their beds and getting some sun. We live very close to Logan Circle, which is a great, pleasant and green space in downtown DC for dogs to walk and play with other dogs. We love incorporating the pets’ routines into our own and can adapt as needed. Taking them on walks during the day is a great opportunity to take work breaks, get some fresh air, and enjoy the day. Our apartment is spacious and gets lots of sunlight, which the dogs love! It’s also close to lots of nice green areas such as Logan Circle or the S street dog park!
“Jefferson takes great care of my big guy. He jumped in for a last minute need and now is our weekly walker. During our first meeting he took diligent notes which showed me his high level of care. Definitely will use again.”

“Thomas is great! He provides detailed updates with lots of photos. The dogs clearly love him and I feel reassured that they are in good hands. I’ve rebooked several times and plan to do so again.”

“Dominic has been walking Madi twice a week for the past two months. He takes great care of Madi, shares cute pics and funny notes/commentary of their walks/encounters. He also puts up w some of Madi’s stubborn ways w/o issue.”

“Leah is great with my Bernese Mountain Dog. He’s a playful, strong 4-year old and no problem for Leah. He has a great time with her and I appreciate the communication. Would use again!”

“Riley last minute helped me out after I sprained my ankle and needed help taking my 10 month old, golden retriever for a long walk while I recover. She was communicative and professional. She was timely and my dog loved her!”

“Michaela was great! Super proactive in asking questions to be sure all was clear in advance and my pup was in the best hands, clear communication throughout and photos. Will definitely book again. Thank you!”

About: In addition to growing up with dogs and cats, I worked part-time for 4 years at a dog daycare. I'm familiar with caring for dogs with special needs and following specialized care. I also have experience in puppy potty training, dog grooming, and basic training. I love dogs and cats alike :) I work from home full-time and have an adorable 16lb cat named Lily. She is a phenomenal assistant, but could work on her people skills. She much prefers other 4-legged friends to stranger humans in her space. I have lots of flexibility for walks and have a small but mity fenced-in backyard. Lily is the princess of my house, but she is always welcoming to other animals. I often watch my family's dogs and treat everyone as family. I have room to board or adapt to any animal's specific needs.
About: I’ve had both cats and dogs my whole life and I love all animals. I grew up dog and cat sitting for my neighbors down the street and I always enjoyed it. I’m currently in school so I have plenty of time between and after classes and also on the weekends to take care of your pets I will do whatever is needed to care for your pets including taking them for walks, feeding them, playing with them, or just hanging out with them. I will always be respectful of clients’ homes and requests

I am so grateful for Thomas the incredible care he takes of my 3.5yo Great Dane! Thomas is a consummate professional, from diligence with all my requests to even thinking proactively about the weather. He is truly a wizard at capturing action shots, too! His detailed descriptions of the walk and fun pictures are such a ray of sunshine to receive in the middle of my work day. My Dane has some dog reactivity and I am grateful for Thomas’s ability to work around his needs. Thomas has been walking him for two weeks now and I will happily keep booking him for as long as I can.

Bruno and Victoria have walked and dog sat for my dog on multiple occasions and have also done some cat check ins. It is apparent that they are animal lovers and treat others' pets as their own. My dog is always ecstatic to run into them in the neighborhood so I know they take great care of her and give her lots of love while I am away. They have always been very communicative and reliable and are willing to work with my dog as she has some reactive behaviors on leash. I would definitely recommend booking Bruno to care for your pets!

We were devastated to lose our Walker due to relocation last month. BUT Havi came into our lives two weeks ago and Frankie is in love. He waits patiently by the door starting at 7:15 and like an alarm clock she arrives promptly at 7:30. She is pleasant has an excellent temperament and we are looking forward to a long Rover relationship. Thank you Lord for answering this dog mom’s prayers.
