My family has always had animals, so I grew up taking care of them. Since moving to DC I’ve dedicated my time to animal care! I’ve been lucky enough to be able to quit one of my hospitality jobs to further pursue this field. I’ve truly grown passionate about taking care of and spending time with animals. I take my job very seriously, because it’s the first time that I feel truly passionate about the work I’m doing. I love to be outside and explore, so my walks are typically long and eventful. I also love to sit down and read or make art on my iPad, so I also make for a good/chill companion. I’ve been around all different breeds and sizes of dogs, as well many different personalities -so I’m pretty comfortable. As far as cats, I have a deep deep love for cats! I’ve always had one or more cats in my adult life. I truly believe cats know a cat person, and that’s me for sure.

My two favorite hobbies are reading and being outside. I’m happy to go on long walks with your dog. I’m also happy to spend time inside making sure your animals have company and companionship. I don’t have an aversion to litter boxes so I’m happy to scoop the cat litter once a day. I scoop my own cats litter every single day so it’s nothing new to me. Im happy to help get energy out, and also spend time relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. I always want to prioritize trust and patience when it comes to your furry companions!

Landy is an awesome sitter / walker. She has managed our Labradors ACL surgery recovery and has led her in gentle and kind walks with news pictures and poo updates too (!!).
Landy is a great regular dog walker. We get great communication from her and funny pictures every day.
Landy was fantastic! She is very attentive and communicative, giving us detailed daily reports and lots of pics, which gained our trust knowing our cat was in great care. We definitely recommend her for your pet sitting needs, and we look forward to booking her in the future to take care of ours.
Landy has been walking our dogs every day for the last weeks and we are so happy. One dog recently had ACL surgery and requires some support on her walk and Landy does a great job managing that situation and providing them with daily love. She sends pictures and is really easy to work with. Best of all, the pups clearly love her.
Landy was great! Very communicative and punctual. Jaxon loved her too!
Landy was absolutely amazing with our three pets! She is a pro, sent a ton of photos, and communicated a lot. Will definitely hire again!

Schedule
I recently gave up one of my hospitality jobs to focus my time on pet care. I still work Tuesday nights and Saturday afternoons to supplement my income. My shifts are typically 6 hours, almost never longer than that. If you’re looking for an over night and you’re not comfortable with your pet being alone that long, feel free to reach out! I’m almost always willing to try and make it work.

- Let me know if your animals have any special care instructions when it comes to food or medication! Any behavioral needs shouldn’t be a problem, but it would be nice to know about your pet before meeting so we can both be comfortable around each other! The more information you can give me the better, I find that you could never give me too much information about your pet!
