I recently gave up one of my hospitality jobs to focus my time on pet care. I still work Tuesday nights and Saturday afternoons to supplement my income. My shifts are typically 6 hours, almost never longer than that. If you’re looking for an over night and you’re not comfortable with your pet being alone that long, feel free to reach out! I’m almost always willing to try and make it work.

My two favorite hobbies are reading and being outside. I’m happy to go on long walks with your dog. I’m also happy to spend time inside making sure your animals have company and companionship. I don’t have an aversion to litter boxes so I’m happy to scoop the cat litter once a day. I scoop my own cats litter every single day so it’s nothing new to me. Im happy to help get energy out, and also spend time relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. I always want to prioritize trust and patience when it comes to your furry companions!

Let me know if your animals have any special care instructions when it comes to food or medication! Any behavioral needs shouldn’t be a problem, but it would be nice to know about your pet before meeting so we can both be comfortable around each other! The more information you can give me the better, I find that you could never give me too much information about your pet!
A typical day
I love to be outside no matter the weather. Whether we are walking, throwing a ball, or sitting in a park somewhere, I truly enjoy the outdoors. Other than that I like to read, make things on my iPad, and do puzzles. So, after play time is over, downtime will be spent together relaxing! I love the companionship just as much as the animals do.

My family has always had animals, so I grew up taking care of them. Since moving to DC I’ve dedicated my time to animal care! I’ve been lucky enough to be able to quit one of my hospitality jobs to further pursue this field. I’ve truly grown passionate about taking care of and spending time with animals! I take my job very seriously, because it’s the first time that I feel truly passionate about the work I’m doing. I love to be outside and explore, so my walks are typically long and eventful. I also love to sit down and read or make art on my iPad, so I also make for a good/chill companion. I’ve been around all different breeds and sizes of dogs, as well many different personalities -so I’m pretty comfortable. As far as cats, I have a deep deep love for cats! I’ve always had one or more cats in my adult life. I truly believe cats know a cat person, and that’s me for sure.

Landy did an absolutely fabulous job with Charlie Tuna - she gave him lots of cuddles and was super communicative throughout. Would definitely want Landy to catsit again!
Landy is great! Excellent communication and truly cares about my pups. She’s comfortable giving meds and asked great questions that shows she’s on top of it. Also she sent adorable photos of them on the walk! 🐾🦴
Landy is the best! She walks my dog twice per week and even just through the Rover report cards I can tell how deeply she cares about my dog. Likewise, I have great peace of mind knowing he's in such good hands! She goes above and beyond - in addition to walking the dog she also routinely fills his water bowl and brings in any packages left on our porch. Landy is communicative, kind, compassionate, and reliable. I would recommend her services to anyone!
