We’re the happiest around dogs!
We’ve both had dogs in our family since we were young and we have our very own, paçoca! She’s a nova scotia duck toller. Her name means little peanut in portuguese and nothing describes her better than that. we love nothing more than to be around dogs. We would love to care for yours! We both work a hybrid schedule and at least one of us is always available to care for, play, and walk pets as many times as needed. We can provide your dog with the exercise they may need, whether it is a morning run, long walk in the afternoon, or dog park visit. We live in a pet-friendly two bedroom apartment with lots of light and space. Dogs we’ve cared for prior really enjoyed laying on the couch/their beds and getting some sun. We live very close to Logan Circle, which is a great, pleasant and green space in downtown DC for dogs to walk and play with other dogs.

Anabel and Nico were fantastic - very communicative and caring. We had absolutely no worries leaving Bridger with them for his first doggy daycare experience. He had the best time playing with Anabel and Nico's puppy and came home tired and content. We will be rebooking again soon.
Neptune loves staying here and really enjoyed playing with their new puppy!
Anabel and Nico took great care of our Lexie on her very first overnight stay in a house other than ours. She has clearly adopted them into her pack and wanted them to follow us home.
Nico and Anabel well deserve their 5-star rating. My Lola doesn't trust many people but she loves Nico and Anabel. They take excellent care of her and above all, they show her she is loved and welcome in their home.

We used Anabel to watch our dog for a day while we were visiting the museums. She was great! Excellent communication before and during his stay and our pup came home well cared for and happy. Highly recommend!

Schedule
We love incorporating the pets’ routines into our own and can adapt as needed. Taking them on walks during the day is a great opportunity to take work breaks, get some fresh air, and enjoy the day.

Our apartment is spacious and gets lots of sunlight, which the dogs love! It’s also close to lots of nice green areas such as Logan Circle or the S street dog park!

A typical day
We love taking dogs on walks, watching them interact and play with other dogs, cuddling and playing fetch. If the dogs like to / need exercise, we would love to take it on runs and longer walks.
