About: i’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. my grandma growing up had a foster farm where I was there every weekend helping out where I could. any size dog from the teacup yorkies to the extra large labs are welcome in my home. my dog loves any kitty furry friend and would love to hang out! I have over 10 years of experience in taking care of any handicapped or disabled dogs! I work from home majority of the days! while I do have a studio apartment is is large with love. your dog will get multiple walks a day around my neighborhood and i’m less than 2 minutes from a large dog park. your cat will have plenty of toys & cat trees to lounge in! I can adapt to any of your furry friends needs. I am equipped in giving medications, helping with disabled animals, taking your dog for a run, a walk or even a good midday nap. whatever they need!

About: I love dogs big and small, but have a special place in my heart for the tiny ones. I’ve had yorkies since I was 11 and have a 2 year old yorkie now, named Scotti. So owners can feel confident I’ll take great care of their little ones- I’d love to pet sit for you and get to know your dogs unique personality! Unfortunately I’m very allergic to cats so unable to work in houses with cats. I love meeting new dogs. I work from home most days and I have a 6 lb dog myself, so if I were pet sitting in my own home, he’d be there! With very small dogs, there are special considerations like paying extra attention when you walk them or take them outside knowing runners and scooters might not be able to see them. I’d love to do a meet and greet with your dog first so they’re comfortable. Also, if you’d like to book me for boarding services, I’d love to watch your little one! However, I request that you schedule at least two walks or drop in visits first so I can get to know you and your pet. I’d also like to introduce them to my dog at the end of the second walk. Then I’ll be ready to accept your boarding request!

About: I've had dogs since I was a kid and enjoy training dogs and puppies as a hobby. You'll be pleasantly surprised to find your dog understands a new command after staying with me for a few days! I currently work from home most days, so I've taken to this as a way to brighten up my day and help folks in the neighborhood with their pet needs. Max was fantastic! He took great care of my puppy. Max was extremely communicative and thoughtful— I got several detailed updates, pictures, and videos of my puppy’s adventures during daycare. He was so well prepared to make my pup feel at home for the day. Would recommend!
We were visiting DC from out of state for the 4th and wanted to visit the Great American State Fair, and not only was it WAY too hot outside for our standard poodle, but dogs weren’t allowed in the festival. We messaged Josefa to check on her availability and within hours we were dropping our baby off and she was gracious enough to allow us an 11:30pm pickup. Josefa sent us pictures during Cliff’s stay and he looked relaxed and seemed excited to see us when we picked him up, but otherwise calm and not at all stressed. I have a feeling he just got petted and loved on the whole time he was there. Highly recommend this very responsive and super sweet sitter. Thank you again Josefa for taking such good care of our Cliff!!
Amazing! She cared for my 5 month puppy and did such a good job also was able to squeeze my pup in last minute due to a change of plan on my end. Peach looked so happy in all the updates she provided and also when i picked her up. Will definitely consider her for future caretaking!

This was my first time using rover, and I was so lucky to find Yahaira! I had an emergency I needed to leave 2 weeks for, and am usually very nervous finding people I trust to watch my pup. I felt totally comfortable with Yahaira— she updated with pictures, sent updates, and gave him the affection and attention a typically anxious pup like him needs when I’m gone! He felt really comfortable with her too, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the animals. I would definitely rebook her. You can trust her with your animals 100%!!! Grateful
ABOVE AND BEYOND! Elliot and his partner Lorraine were simply the BEST!!! Our little baby, Yuzu, 12 months old, had never been out of our care till we had to leave him either alone for a day, or much better, to drop him off with Elliot and Lorraine, in order to drop off our daughter for I-Day at the U.S. Naval Academy. Elliot and Lorraine to the rescue! Not only did they watch Yuzu for over 14 hours in their lovely Georgetown home, Elliot even came to pick him up at 5:30 in the morning! They sent us pictures throughout the day, reassuring us of Yuzu's well being. By the end of the day, it was clear that we made the right choice for Daycare, evident by Yuzu being very content socializing with their two very well-behaved babies, Bronte, and Coogee, a few years older than Yuzu, as well as another guest dog. We can't thank you guys enough and really hope to depend on you in the future to care for Yuzu from time to time! We think Yuzu will think of it like a fun day out instead of missing Mommy and Daddy all day!
