I founded my own dog walking business in DC in 2009 and have built a loyal client base on one thing: treating every dog like my own. I share my home with two miniature pinschers of my own, so I understand what it means to leave a dog you love in someone else's hands. I work remotely, which means I am home and attentive throughout the day. Boarding dogs are never left alone for extended periods. They get regular outdoor time in our fully fenced yard, midday walks, and plenty of attention morning, afternoon, and evening. I require a meet-and-greet prior to all first-time bookings. Please reach out at least 5 to 7 days before your requested stay. Returning clients are welcome to book with 48 hours' notice. For holiday weekends, I recommend reaching out 2 to 3 weeks in advance as spots fill quickly. Pickup and drop off are available upon request for an additional fee. Please message me with your location for a quote. I serve clients in Northwest DC and surrounding neighborhoods. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priority. Boarding guests have a dedicated first-floor living space with access to a large deck and a fully fenced yard for secure off-leash time throughout the day. I maintain my own professional liability insurance for added peace of mind. My home is dog-proof and calm. I do not overbook, keeping the number of guests small so every dog gets individualized attention. I provide regular photo and message updates throughout every stay, so you always know your pup is happy and well cared for.

About: I am a pet lover. I grew up in a home with many pets including dogs and cats and have always had a special connection to animals. I love going on long walks and heading to the dog park when the weather is nice. I am here to help you care for your pet the best way possible. I'll always listen to special instructions and will show your pet the love and attention as if they were my own. I have a flexible schedule and am able to do "drop-in visits" and "rover now" walks during most week days when many walkers are unavailable. I am in the office two days a week, Tuesdays and a flex day. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! **I cannot accept pets that get into plants as I have a few not pet safe plants at home** I work from home 3 days a week and am home most weekends! I too Iove middle of the day walks and all day hangs! I am in a pet friendly building that is super close to Rock Creek for longer walks. My home is child free, and smoke free. I do have a senior beagle mix I adopted from a family member who could not bring him with for an overseas move who is a full time pet at the home.

About: Hello! My wife and I would love to take care of your dog. We both love dogs and have been taking care of dogs for the last three years. We are a very fun and active family. Together with our beautiful lab dachshund mix, Lucy, enjoy going on long walks, mostly in the mornings and afternoons. Most mornings we end up going to the dog park since we love that our Lucy and the dogs we are watching have fun and spend their energy. We live in an apartment, and will be able to cater to any of your dog’s needs. I work from home so I am almost always available for dog sitting and boarding, just let me know and we’ll figure out the best times for your schedule. I take the dogs outside every couple hours, and for a walk in the morning and evenings. I also have a large crate if your dog is crate trained, dog beds, and many toys.
