About: Based in Petworth/Brightwood Park in NW DC, I am a lifelong animal lover and professional pet care provider with 15+ years of experience. I founded my own dog walking business in DC in 2009 and have built a loyal client base on one thing: treating every dog like my own. Experienced with all sizes and temperaments, I maintain my own professional liability insurance for your peace of mind. I share my home with two miniature pinschers of my own, so I understand what it means to leave a dog you love in someone else's hands. I work remotely, which means I am home and attentive throughout the day. Boarding dogs are never left alone for extended periods. They get regular outdoor time in our fully fenced yard, midday walks, and plenty of attention morning, afternoon, and evening. I require a meet-and-greet prior to all first-time bookings. Please reach out at least 5 to 7 days before your requested stay. Returning clients are welcome to book with 48 hours' notice. For holiday weekends, I recommend reaching out 2 to 3 weeks in advance as spots fill quickly. Pickup and drop off are available upon request for an additional fee. Please message me with your location for a quote. I serve clients in Northwest DC and surrounding neighborhoods. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priority. Boarding guests have a dedicated first-floor living space with access to a large deck and a fully fenced yard for secure off-leash time throughout the day. I maintain my own professional liability insurance for added peace of mind. My home is dog-proof and calm. I do not overbook, keeping the number of guests small so every dog gets individualized attention. I provide regular photo and message updates throughout every stay, so you always know your pup is happy and well cared for.

I couldn’t be happier with Adi & Pat’s care for Louie! They communicate well and clearly, they asked good questions to make sure they’d cover all the bases for Louie’s care, and provided regular updates and photos, which were greatly appreciated. Louie came home happy and relaxed after his stay and knowing he had a comfortable time is great peace of mind. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for anyone looking for local sitters and I will certainly be rebooking for any future stays!
Max was fantastic! He took great care of my puppy. Max was extremely communicative and thoughtful— I got several detailed updates, pictures, and videos of my puppy’s adventures during daycare. He was so well prepared to make my pup feel at home for the day. Would recommend!
I highly recommend Ayah! She is super communicative and cares so much about Louie. They went on long walks and played in the dog park. Ayah is very flexible with drop off and pick up times, and kept me updated throughout the day on how Louie was doing. Louie can’t wait to go back soon!
We were visiting DC from out of state for the 4th and wanted to visit the Great American State Fair, and not only was it WAY too hot outside for our standard poodle, but dogs weren’t allowed in the festival. We messaged Josefa to check on her availability and within hours we were dropping our baby off and she was gracious enough to allow us an 11:30pm pickup. Josefa sent us pictures during Cliff’s stay and he looked relaxed and seemed excited to see us when we picked him up, but otherwise calm and not at all stressed. I have a feeling he just got petted and loved on the whole time he was there. Highly recommend this very responsive and super sweet sitter. This was my first time using rover, and I was so lucky to find Yahaira! I had an emergency I needed to leave 2 weeks for, and am usually very nervous finding people I trust to watch my pup. I felt totally comfortable with Yahaira— she updated with pictures, sent updates, and gave him the affection and attention a typically anxious pup like him needs when I’m gone! He felt really comfortable with her too, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the animals. I would definitely rebook her. You can trust her with your animals 100%!!! Grateful
