I’ve also grown up on a farm and handled all types of pets from goats, pigs, cows to dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. I believe every animal deserves to be treated as family not just a pet. I am always home until 3pm when I leave for work, but when I am not home my partner is home. Someone will always be there to take care of your furry or scaly family and will never be left without someone even for a second. They will be welcomed with love, play, and kindness in my home. About: Based in Petworth/Brightwood Park in NW DC, I am a lifelong animal lover and professional pet care provider with 15+ years of experience. I founded my own dog walking business in DC in 2009 and have built a loyal client base on one thing: treating every dog like my own. Experienced with all sizes and temperaments, I maintain my own professional liability insurance for your peace of mind. I share my home with two miniature pinschers of my own, so I understand what it means to leave a dog you love in someone else's hands. I work remotely, which means I am home and attentive throughout the day. Boarding dogs are never left alone for extended periods. They get regular outdoor time in our fully fenced yard, midday walks, and plenty of attention morning, afternoon, and evening. I require a meet-and-greet prior to all first-time bookings. Please reach out at least 5 to 7 days before your requested stay. Returning clients are welcome to book with 48 hours' notice. For holiday weekends, I recommend reaching out 2 to 3 weeks in advance as spots fill quickly. Pickup and drop off are available upon request for an additional fee. Please message me with your location for a quote. I serve clients in Northwest DC and surrounding neighborhoods. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priority. Boarding guests have a dedicated first-floor living space with access to a large deck and a fully fenced yard for secure off-leash time throughout the day. I maintain my own professional liability insurance for added peace of mind. My home is dog-proof and calm. I do not overbook, keeping the number of guests small so every dog gets individualized attention. I provide regular photo and message updates throughout every stay, so you always know your pup is happy and well cared for.
