House Sitting Takoma Park

Jordyn was absolutely perfect. She got along great with our Newfie and put my mind at ease the whole time. I would gladly book her again!

Aaron & Paweena (Fah) were great substitute parents to our divas Cinder & Sable. They were very respectful of our home, sent photos and videos, and were so helpful when we got stuck for extra days out of the country due to an airline strike. This was the longest we’ve left the dogs and we were happy we found such a nice, responsible couple to care for them.

Hannah was very loving with our dogs, got them out on nice long walks, was a great communicator, and kept the house clean and tidy. Would recommend!

Janis is wonderful! She took amazing care of our home and our beloved dog and cat. It’s obvious how much she loves animals and deeply cares about doing her very best. This was our first time with Janis and hope to have her back many more times.

Max took wonderful care of our 2-year-old rescue dog and stayed at our house for about a week. Everything was in great shape upon our return and our pup was a happy camper. Strongly recommend!

Halle watched our Pomeranian over the weekend at our house and she was fantastic. Our dog has anxiety and requires daily medication, which Halle handled well. She did a great job gaining the trust of our little Pom who can be difficult and hide away from strangers when we are out of town. She also left our house cleaner than we left it and was super communicative all weekend with updates and pics! Will definitely have Halle watch her again :)

Rachel housesit and took care of our two young cats for the weekend. It was a short time, but Rachel was terrific. She was great at communication, took lots of cute pictures of the cats, and went the extra mile to do some household chores and clean up. The cats are in great shape. We hope to use her services again!

We were a bit nervous traveling out of the country for 9 days, leaving behind our rather anxious (and less-than-trusting) Xavier, along with our overly-zealous (and a bit needy) Barnaby, with a sitter they didnt really know, for the first time. Well...there was NO reason to be nervous. Betty was superb! She connected with the doggos right away, and they enjoyed all of her attention throughout the week. When we came home, the boys were happy & healthy & content. The house was in great shape. Betty went above-and-beyond, taking care of the home-front with professionalism and maturity, sharing regular communications & photos. Thank you Betty. We hope to see you again soon!

Monica did an amazing job taking care of our three dogs (one of which is a senior dog with health issues). Monica stopped by ahead of time to meet our dogs and get all of the necessary information; she is extremely professional and responsible. She clearly loves dogs and handled our three dogs with different food and walk requirements with ease. She also sent us cute photos of the dogs while we were gone. We felt very lucky to have her taking care of our dogs while we were away. We highly recommend Monica!

Alexandra was fantastic! She was incredibly flexible and accommodating on short notice, and we really appreciated how attentive she was to our pets. She sent us lots of pictures and updates to reassure us that everyone was doing well. We especially loved that she even played music for them when she wasn’t there.

Shamiso is always so caring towards my dog. She works with him given he has a lot of anxiety. She leaves my place cleaner than I found it, and she is communicative, giving lots of regular "pup-dates".

Mary did a wonderful job taking care of Mickey while I was away, and I’m very happy with the care she provided. Mickey is a senior dog and an extremely picky eater, so he can require a little extra patience and attention. Mary was very patient with him and even cooked additional food for him when the chicken I had prepared before my trip ran out, which I really appreciated. Communication with Mary was excellent throughout my trip. She was very responsive and would usually reply almost immediately whenever I messaged her, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. She also kept me updated on how Mickey was doing. Before I returned, she washed the sheets and towels she, and she even stayed with Mickey until I arrived home rather than leaving him alone before I got there. That meant a lot to me, especially after a long day of traveling. Overall, I had a very positive experience with Mary. She was kind, patient, dependable, and clearly cared about making sure Mickey was comfortable and well taken care of. I would definitely feel comfortable having her care for Mickey again and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and responsible sitter.

Malvika took great care of Jimmy and his GI issues. She communicated clearly and followed all his instructions. Thanks again!

Rin (Janavi) did an amazing job dogsitting our two huskies, who require a lot of special attention. I can’t recommend her highly enough. She has a natural way with animals, and our dogs responded very well to her calm, confident energy. She carefully followed all of our instructions and reached out for clarification when needed. She has a lot of experience with high-needs animals and adapts her approach to each pet’s individual needs. She walked our dogs multiple times a day and spent plenty of time doing activities with them, just as we requested. She also took wonderful care of our home, leaving everything clean and tidy and bringing in our mail and packages while we were away. We felt completely comfortable knowing our dogs and home were in such capable hands. We would absolutely hire Rin again and highly recommend her!

Amanda is the best! I am so happy that Winnie was able to stay with such a caring and thoughtful sitter. So many great pictures and updates so I always felt up to date on how Winnie was. Highly recommend!

Christina was wonderful. She is reliable, warm, organized and clearly loves animals. Eva, our 2 year old doodle also gave her paws up. She left our house neater than she found it.

Miranda did a wonderful job taking care of my dog! He is an elderly dog with health issues who needs to receive multiple medicines multiple times a day, and she handled it so well and made my dog feel safe, loved, and cared for while I was away. I am very grateful for that and highly recommend her!

Gio is absolutely wonderful. She takes Daphne and Samson out every week and also stayed with them this weekend while I was away, and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is incredibly kind, dependable, communicative, and genuinely cares about them. I came home to two very happy, relaxed dogs who had clearly been loved and spoiled all weekend. Daphne and Samson both adore her, and I always feel comfortable knowing they’re in her care. I’m so grateful to have found Gio and would absolutely recommend her!

Christian was very communicative and took good care of my dogs and shared photos throughout his stay.

Katherine took care of Ruthie and Pip for 2 nights and everything was stellar! She was timely, responsive, and communicative. She asked questions when needed and seemed to really care for their safety. I would definitely book again! Thank you, Katherine!
